One of the worst hospital I have ever came across. My dad was suffering from low back pain and he was admitted under doctor C S Dhar who was supposed to go on leave from very next day. His assistant Mr Ayan Roy was dealing with the case. When the plates MRI reports were out, Mr Ayan Roy told he cant comment and he need to wait for hard copy and also referred case to Indrajit Roy (Neuro). It was peculiar that doctor cant comment from the the MRI plates about the problem. Being a non-medical person, even I can comment from hard copy then for what joy he has been awarded with the degree of doctor. Neuro came when my dad was not there on bed for some testing and thereafter the neuro declined to revisit the patient. Case was referred to another neuro and we were waiting for his comments. Other neuro came we had discussion with him for about 2 min. We also asked him about the discharge then he told this is not my case, please consult concerned doctor. We again checked with Ayan Roy about discharge, he told this is not my case let my senior C S Dhar came in. We complained to Medical superintendent about all this. Mr Ayan Roy came to know and he literally fought with us for 15 min in his chamber. Thereafter came Mr. C S Dhar. He told dad is not suffering from any disease but he told he want to consult neuro once again before commenting on discharge. Why??? I also don't know. Neuro declined to visit the patient. He told that I have already seen him and everything is fine. We again complained that why my dad is not getting discharge. After fight, Mr C S Dhar wrote discharge but he was very rude in talking to us. Thereafter, mediclaim department raised a query inquiring why prolonged hospitalization when patient was treated with oral medicine and physiotherapy. Doctor's response was that " Patient was being treated accordingly and is being discharged as the condition is better". Insurance department was not satisfied and they again raised the same query saying "unsatisfactory reply" Being a non-medical person I myself can comment that that there was no co-relation between response and query. We requested doctor about this to submit the response against the query. CS Dhar denied saying "I am here to treat the patient and not to give the response to the insurance department. If you want to sue a case against me you can do so". He also fought with us for 15 minutes. We again complained to medical superintendent but no result.
