I received a card with my December/January issue telling me that I have 3 free gifts. I went to www.readersdigest.com/3free as I was instructed. There were no free gifts and no information of free gifts. What's the deal?
S ame rip off every year!! How does Readers Digest get away with false statements?????? I think everybody should stop buying their Book!! It is so unfair and dishonest!! Right??
I have received several of these cards saying to go to this email address and I have 3 free gifts waiting for me. I have never been able to find out what they are or how to get them, So why do you send these cards out with the magazine if you don't intend to suppy the free gifts???

I recieved a card in the mail saying that I had three gifts on hold for me. All I needed to do was go to Readers Digest.com/3 free gifts and claim them. But all I found on the net was sub renewal. My sub is now good untill Fed 2012. So whats the deal.
Why were we sent the cards if there is no site for "3 free gifts" ????
Give us the site so that we may claim them. Or tell us that it was just a mistake or scam. I am very disappointed in Reader's Digest!!!

Free Girts? What kind of scam it this? We have been subscribers for many years, so just forget the "Free Gifts" if you are not going to send them to anyone, or so it seems by the number of complaints. We will not cancel our subscription, but PLEASE...if you are not your own advertising, then just forget about advertising that there will be a reward when there is no such thing...Charles and Patricia Gardner.

Your publication certainly is screwing up a lot the past few years. What in the heck is going on? You don't get anything, but errors, poor customer service and ignored. This is exhausting. The free gift(s) are they may in the next 3 years answer your complaints, fix your subscriptions, or go belly up and take your money...
I too was tricked into the RD scam.. What' s the ticket? Do I have to have a magic wand and say hocus pocus ten times?
I guess you guys are looking for a GOVERMENT BAIL OUT, Did the white house take over the publication? Poor service, screw ups, and false advertising and now this lie about the 3 free gifts. You guys must be on the gov. tit. Where is the reader's digest czar? SHAME ON YOU for your misrepresentation and misconduct. You just lost a loyal customer, good luck with your restructuring! maybe you should sell your publication to china at least we don't have to tell them to "Get The Led Out".
I have had this offer more than once, but was never able to fine any gift offer at the site named. Please treat us like adults and stop playing games with us. As soon as my subscription runs out you will never hear from me again
I also have take readers Digest for years. I really didn't expect a free gift (let alone three) afor subscribing, but it is strange that they send a card and then makes kt feel like a sham. Where is the public relations section of Readers Digest that they haved gottend so many complaints, and done nothing to remedy the problem. Betty B.

SCAMMERS DIGEST is more like it!!! I would not take your little magazine if YOU paid ME. But, my parents have subscribed for 40 years and would like their 3 "Mickey Mouse" gifts. I will report back to them that your company has stooped to new lows. SHAME SHAME SHAME on Readers Digest!!
