another grand ripoff
My mom has been a RD subscriber for years even on a limited budget- she does not have a computer so asked me to check on her free gift offer...what a sham- i tryed and got the complaints - so i decided to call RD customer service- they are experiencing a higher then average call volume- i wonder why!!! so the wait time is longer then usual...who has time for that...shame on you RD- not a way to win friends and influence your subscribers- I suggest you mail out the 3 free gifts without requiring subscribers to track them down only to be duped into another purchase.
I just purchased Readers Digest for 2 years, and I got my first issue today, with this claim "3 FREE GIFTS are waiting for you!" How can you claim them when there is no actual site. This is crap and is the better business buerau doing anything about this? Isnt this fraud? I want my 3 free gifts. This is a scam and I am very disappointed that a company would do this.

Several years ago I sent in my free gift card. I think I did it two months in succession. No
answer. Maybe you should get another way to track your subscribers. This free gift thing
is not working right. I think you've lost people rather than gained them. Here's to another

I just recieved my RD yesterday and couldn't get the www.readersdigest.com3/free either. We have been getting RD over 50 yers but I am thinking of this will be our last year.
I have received several postcards with my Reader's Digest and each one says the same, "3 Free Gifts are waiting for you", and each time I go into the website its the same answer---Cannot Locate!
I think this is just another way to have unwanted E-mails sent solicitating other items sold through
Reader's Digest. Save us the aggravation of wasting our time doing these ridiculous comments----

I don't understand the thinking behind what Reader's Digest has created...a very bad move for possibly good publicity. Like my mother always told me, "You don't get something for nothing!
Is this a bogus website? When I logged onto the site it said that it was not found. The second time I logged in I was brought to this complaint page. This is both a waste of my time and yours/

My comments are the same as above. Where is this website and why would you waste my time. I have not been a Readers Digest for the last ten years but from previous dealings with R.D. I had expected better from ya'll. This is not the way to do business.
Just received my readers digest.com/3 free gifts. All of the comments people wrote is true. There is no such site. I subscribed to the magazine in July of 2009 and never received a copy until yesterday which was Nov. issue. What is going on? You are suppose to satisfy your customers not make them angry by you sending cards out for free gifts. This is my last subscription - no wonder the company is going bankrupt - you just cannot satisfy your customers.
