[Resolved]  Whirlpool Refrigerator — whirlpool forcefully sells faulty product

I bought brand new whirlpool refrigerator (MasterMind 260 Litre elite model) from Dass Electric Trading co.(P) Ltd, wanowrie branch pune on dated 9 March 2008 .
From the day one of delivery, I am getting ELECTRIC SHOCK from the body of lower door of this refrigerator and I complained to DASS as well as whirlpool customer care support with Complaint No: 4825.
After a day whirlpool engineer(Mansoorkar-:[protected]) visited to my place and he himself observed the electric shock and concluded with the fact that it is manufacturing defects you should replace your refrigerator.
After that i approached to DASS with this problem and had spoken to its Manager named Bhuvnesh([protected],[protected]/24) and he sent his senior engineer/manager named Riyaz[protected]/36/37) to investigate this problem but again he even could not find out any solution to this problem and so relentlessly replied with shrewdness that this is normal and low voltage electric shock that is not hazardous so bear with this but DASS AND WHIRLPOOL WILL NOT REPLACE THIS REFRIGERATOR.
Finally I again requested to DASS Manager, Bhuvnesh, as well Whirlpool service centre senior engineer name Anil Patil([protected]) to replace this defective piece of refrigerator but they abused me and even threatened me for consequences.

I am continuously calling to whirlpool call center and there some senior lady named Shifaa already aware about all this but she said she can't do anything.

Basically they all know very well this is defective piece and sold this out to customer anyhow, which they did and now they are trying to mesmerize me .

I request whirlpool senior executives to come upfront and provide me justice.

I already sent my grievance to whirlpool: [protected]@whirlpool.com l.
I would not be satisfied until and unless they don’t give me replacements and if this not done within a week I will copy and file my grievances to CONSUMER COURT as well as telecast this to CNBC Awaaz channel but i wont let them to escape up to my last RIGHTS.

Whirlpool Refrigerator- Mastermind — Regarding faulty product sell to customer

I have purchase one REFRIGERATOR -Mastermind type on 15/09/2007 . First model of REFRIGERATOR if i purchase it found faulty in first day ( Max. cooling is going on). after complaint this model is replace after 5 days. second model is work properly upto only 7 months and again problem is occuring in that model. whirpool company is manufacturing only faulty product as per my experience. take necessary action. I want replacement of product.

I have purchesded (whirlpool)refrigerator on 09/10/08 at Thambaram Vasanth & co. No one came to instalation checke. I complinte whirlpool service center through phone on 20/10/08. still no respons the above complinte. I realy disopointed your customer care.

Whirlpool Professional Refrigerator — Making much noice and bad smelling

I have purchased Whirlpool Professional Refrigrator 450L DLX Model 11058 DLX from MS Vijay Elecronics 4, Jayanti Market Jaipur in August 08 vide invoice No 552. Since the very first day it started making much noice when in operation and created bad smell in side the deep freezer as well as in the storage portion both.
Anyway, I made initial complaint to the dealer from where the refrigerator was purchased. Some service centre persons visited after few days, they agreed to the problem but could not solve and went back saying that they will send their senior personengineers. Some sr persons visited and after looking to the problem they went saying they will send their subordinates for opening some parts of the newly purchased refrigerator to which I never wanted that my new refrigerator should be opened .
However after some days, as told, some junior persons visited and opened some part of it. while opening they damaged that part, however, he tried and told that he will visit again after a weeks time to check whether the problem still persists. I kept on waiting for about 15-20 days but no noe attended.
I than started complaining regulatrly to the manufacturer and the dealer but no noe has attended to my complaint till this date.
To day while lodging a reminder to my complaint both the agencies intimated that my complaint has been closed. But no one could tell as to why and how my complaint has been closed without attending and without mycustomers satisfaction.I dont know if this is the quality control and after sales service of such a renound company.
I am quite dissatisfied with this product and under lot of stress as I have incured a huge amount but could not get satisfaction rather I am much tensed.
I want that the amount paid be refunded to me along with the compensation as I have suffered lot of stress, as well as inconvenience caused to me and my family.

I have purchased the double door fridge of Whirlpool make.Now after 1.5 year we are facing problem of water leakage from the deodarant area.Water drips into the cabinet & floods whole area.Already once i had paid the service charges.After a month i have noticed the same problem of water leakage into the fridge.Based on the previous unrectified complaint i had approached customer complaint service of Whirlpool they have denied to attend becuase the service period is only one month which is not mentioned or communicated to me.They have diverted to call service agent who also denied until i will agree to pay once again for the second time.Finally when i disagreed over the repayment due to same complaint.They have diverted me to call customer service employee of Whirlpool.Again i narrated whole thing.Still there is no response.Also there is no assurance from any representative.Also i have been told that earlier repair was done by semi skilled technician.If i pay once again the service chrages they will send the senior technician.This is really a good buisnesss for these people.They want to attend same problem without solving at a time & want to make money of it.
I want use this forum to bring this to notice & take the issues seriously.

I brought the 350 litter whirlpool refrigerator four years before with an AMC for 7 years. My customer id 4810390. Every six months it had complaints and repaired. But last time on 31.01.09 it totally gone out of order the engineer took it to the workshop repaired and brought it back on 08.02.09. Today (09.02.09 ) again it gone out of order.
This seems to be a defective pieces and you are requested to replace it. Please attend this on urgent basis

Fridge model F26classic10010 of whirlpool purchase dtd[protected] .I am facing problem of cooling since jan 2008.several time (4-5 ) gas refiling done but it never run more than 15days.During last complaint they carry my fridge to service center and after returning it has same problem.Again in aug2008 i made again complaint, during visit of service engineer this they ask some document required to change the part i submited all bill and AMC paperprovided by service center.

Whirlpool Refrigerator — Compressor Faulty under warranty period

I have purchased whirlpool refrigerator on dated 10/04/2003 with seven years compressor warranty. The compressor of the refrigerator is giving problems now. Such a pathetic company whirpool is, The problem in my fridge is freezer is not working.compressor & gas both are not working.when tried to lodge the complaint with given number in whirpool service center booklet, the guy just responded we dont give service for whirlpool but to all refrdigrators with full charges.what a company is this. shut shop and let others who die for customer satisfaction with their good service let they earn some bread n butter.shame shame whirlpool.i will file in consumer court & spread awarness to people to stop buying whirlpool products.

I had logged a call on 23rd march_09 stating that my Refrigerator is not working (Complain no--KL[protected]).
One person visited on 24th but without any resolution.Same is down till now.
Whirlpool does not have the curtsey to update on progress to customer.

I have purchased whirlpool refrigeration years back, but at all I am not getting performance what should be expected. There is always a cooling problem, all stuff inside get spoiled early. Now the problem get worst with almost zero cooling. And I have resister a complaint to the Whirlpool service center & not getting proper response. They come and check the refrigerator & asking to change - thermostat, compressor, gas filling, cooling coil….etc. All this will cost me around Rs 4000/-. Its better to purchased new refrigerator. Its looks whirlpool refrigerator has life not more that 4 years. I almost get frustrated with my refrigerator & I decided to purchased new one from other reliable company. I am feeling very regrettable of choosing Whirlpool.

I have the same problem. We should take some strong step against them otherwise the rascal will not listen
I have purchased whirlpool refrigerator 165litres Model no.[protected] on 12.10.1998 from KULKARNI & CO. 21/22 Gosaliya Park, Boisar 401501.
It got problem with thermostat on 10.12.2008 & got replaced from AMAN SERVICES, Boisar.They charged Rs.570.00 with 6 months guaranty.
The thermostat got problem in March, 2009 (within 6 month of replacement).I called AMAN SERVICES, Boisar.They came to check & assured me to replace next day.
But they are not replacing & not answering my phone.
What shall I do? I am using whirlpool washing machine also.
I can't believe it but I had the same low cooling issue after power switch between the generator and back with my 7 month old Whirlpool Iceberg. After 5 experiments it is working for the past one month!!!

DEAR SIR, MY PMP PLAN APPLICATION NO:019710 VALID TILL 23.4.09. FEW DAYS BACK FOR MINOR PROB WE CALLED YOUR SERVICE PEOPLE TO ATTEND THE PROBELUM. THEY CAME AND RECTIFY. AT THE SAME TIME, SINCE MY REFRIGERATOR PMP PLAN COMING TO RENEWAL AND I REQUESTED THE SERVICE PEOPLE TO RENEW. THEY REFUSED TO TAKE MY RENEWAL. SINCE I HAVE BEEN VERY LONG TIME IN THIS PLAN FOR 6 YEARS CONTINIOUS . I WAS VEYR SURPRISED, WHY THE SERVICE PEOPLE REFUSED TO TAKE MY RENEWAL . TILL TODAY MY FRIEDGE WAS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION AND IN THE PERIOD OF MY AGREEMENT, THERE WAS NO MAJOR PROB DURING THE SERVIE CONTRACT PERIOD. SO IN THIS MATTERN I WANT SOMEBODY TO CALL ME ON MY MOBILE NUMBER[protected] TO DISCUSS THE ABOVE MATTER .
