[Resolved]  ABN AMRO Bank Credit Card — Unnecessary Charges

I am holding an ABN AMRO freedom card from the past two years and currently I had got a call from tthe bank for one of their promos of Holidaying for which I ha drefused but still got a charge of Rs. 4500/- on my card. Later after I had made a complaint I got a call as an apology from the bank personnel and a reversal statement verbally. Just today after 10 days I get a call from the local bank for the collection of the dues and that the pending amount is still 7000/ - plus which includes the promo charges. It at times is so difficult when you get such calls when you are amidst a meeting and at the same time when you explain you still get a reply that they are not aware of the reversal and would only reflect in the next statement. Does that mean that a customer would be bullied till the next statement is made or is there any system of stopping this.

Sub : Personal Loan No.9424291

Dear Sir,

This has reference to personal visit to your branch for Statement of Account. It has come to my knowledge that an amount of Rs.5566/- has been debited to my account towards late payment charges.

On verification I was intimated that the charges have been debited due to ECS for the month of Oct.’2007 was dishonoured with the reasons “ECS MANDATE NOT RECEIVED”

In this regard, I would like to intimate that ECS was dishonoured due to no fault of mine, since your bank did not provide ECS mandate duly signed by me at the time of entering the agreement to my Bankers.

The new ECS mandate was got signed from me again and henceforth not even single ECS has been dishonoured.

I have been maintaining sufficient funds before the due date of your EMI and regarding EMI for the month of October’2007, on receiving intimation from your Bank I issued the cheque immediately.

You are requested to waive off late payment charges which has been levied due to no fault of mine.

ABN AMRO Credit Card — HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL SYSTEM

Hi,

This is in regards to my trabsaction reflecting in Unbilled towards DS Construction (for recharging TOLL CARD, Del Gurgaon) on 1st March 2009 through MCHEK.

Amount - INR 500.00

I am highly unsatisfied. Today my card was taken by Toll workers due to late recharge. Its 3rd of March 2009 and it was still not reflecting in my balance. It's not my problem whether the merchant claim or not. If it's not it should be intimated in a day so that the I could have taken appropriate action.

Please update on your course of action on MCHEK & DS Construction.

ABN AMRO Bank Credit Card — Credit card loan fraud

I Omprakash Swami, Have ABN AMRO bank credit card (no. [protected])

I have not taken any loan on this Credit card loan personally but receiving calls from ABN AMRO bank collection dept. and agents for paying EMI/loan. After receiving such calls I came to know loan is taken on this credit card.
I did not make any request for any kind of loan and have not received any DD or cheque.
I enquired at ABN AMRO’s Collection dept of Fatima nagar pune branch about this matter and came to know loan is issued and my personal data (communication address, email, phone no. etc) has been changed . I did not make any request to change my personal data.
ABN AMRO bank (Credit card Department) does not have proper proof like documents, DD details, detail record of requested loan, for requested address change, for requested email id change, for requested phone change.

Please make an enquiry into this matter as soon as possible and save me .

My name is Uma Shanker Saini.
Once i applied for credit card of abn amro bank but i was informed by the associate of bank that your request has been cancelled due to under age. He informed me that bank is not making any card for that person who is below than 25 years.
After two years i received a call from abn amro bank that you are the credit card holder of the bank and your due is (I have forgot) pending need to pay otherwise we will make a case in court against you.
I told the caller that i never apply for this one. caller give me the only iformation that your DOB is 10/05/81 which is wrong my DOB is 10/05/84. She refuses to give me more information about the card so that i can make specific search of card holder or need to contact the manager of the bank.
Now calls are coming continuously, these calls are not good in language also they always ready to fight.
Please let me know, what should i do?

Credit card (freedom) — Finance Charges

Dear Sir,
This is regarding my name is Rahul Chopra my Credit Card no ([protected]).
From last couple of month bank put finence(retail) charges on my credit card account without any clarification last month on 16/05/2006 I spoken to Mr manish working in your customer care department as team Leader regarding my finence charges and he told me that all finence charges have been reverse but this month they again put finence charges and when i spoken to customer care executive he was very bad talking to me.
Pls let me know why the bank put finence charges (retail) on my account and revert back to me .

sar / mam, iam sanjay kumar ojha, iwas applled cc o[censored]r bank in 2007, when i was in reliance retail at jaipur . on 21st aug 2007, i was regained from that company. on 24th i was at delhi, & on 28th or 29 i was at vindhaychal ( mirgapur ) for puja at Temple . on 31st at my netive place . & on 3rd my grandmother was dead, from 3rd sep to march 25th i was at my netive place .during that time i got phone calls from my previous company, ur cc has misused & after that i got a call from ur bank, that time i was told them i didn't got that cc, they told pls do complain at our Gorgon office, on that time i got a no, on which i was used so may times for contact but now this no is not working that no is [protected], on that time i was conformed by ur bank sir in further u cant get problem Ur card is blocked. on that time i got a complain no also[protected] or [protected].

sir now i got a call from Delhi office Mr John has told me sir Ur cc outstanding of 40, 913/-, he call me so many time, on that time i was also told to him all these are the problem, he told u r in several list .
sir want know that, what is this ? going with me, why bank blame on me & why i got threatenings call from Mr John ([protected]).

sir i want result of this case this is forgery with me or bank.pls find the that person those who misused the cc.

settlement demand the CC statement from them for the period and amount Ur bank is charging
or
settlement first CC statements along with Legal Notice that i'll give the reply of it

i have all receipt and settlement letter

i have a an credit card of your bank .In last month statmetnt bank charged me 650 rs latefee and 500 rupees of checquemutilated charges. i talk to your coustmer care twice. but they dont response very well. i discussed with thwm its not my fault. chequr return because of bad condition not for insuffician fund. when i dropped the cheque it is in good condition. so please reverse my all charges otherwise unneceesary you disturrb myn account.

ABN AMRO Bank Credit Card — problem related towards late payment and finance charges

i am very obliged to have you as my banker.for the past more than 2 years i am using yours credit card.
i have no problems related to it in past,but in the month of February according to your statement my outstanding balance was rs 5410 which i paid through ch no. 367021 dated 21/02/2009 from icici bank.
i have dropped this Cheque in your drop box at Pitampura HP petrol pump on 22/02/2009. But on seeing my account statement on near 05/03/2009 that cheque has not been presented to my bank i had a talk with your executive on phone banking , he said that kindly issue another cheque and to stop payment for the previous cheque and he said that no charges such as late payment or interest charges or any other charges will be charged .i had issued a fresh ch no. 367024 for rs 5410 on icici bank on 07/03/2009 which was then cleared.
but in next statement there were late payment and finance charges were seen.on chat with yours executive on phone , he said the charges will be reversed and u do the remaining payment .but the charges are not reversed .
please see towards it and take a strict action against it immediately and reverse the charges as soon as possible or else close my credit card account and i have to go to consumer court for it .

I am using your card since four years and this is the third time i am encountering problem with your bank. I have used amount of Rs.6896 and your bank had added extra amount Rs.656.28 which is unresonable, i was given a lifetime free memebership card so i wont be paying any of your extra charges.I cannot entertain such unprofessional conduct anymore so kindly reverse the membership fees and the tax or cancel my credit card with your bank. Yes that is very TRUE.i am also one of teh victims.Since an year these used to daily give me a call abt 10 times asking to take the offer and fine day they push it into my statement and ask me to pay the minimum due. i actually used the card for just abt 800 rupees and they ask me to pay about 1500 min due.When i asked them to reverse taht offer and i made a cheque payemnmt for teh amount that i used, they sent back teh cheque asking me to pay the complete amount. This is really hell, torture..feel like filing a case against these ...

ABN AMRO Bank Credit Card — Harassment by ABN AMRO credit card customer care

Respected Sir/Ma'am
My mother (Jasvinder Kaur) used to have ABN AMRO Bank credit card some 2 years back. That card was made as a promotional offer and the salesman offered her no charges and monthly charges as well. My mother never got that card activated, never used it and nor did she handed that card to anyone. However she got a call from ABN Amro bank customer care (Phone no. [protected]) on 11th Nov 2009 at 2:50 PM asking for Rs. 5000 as a shopping bill done on that very card which my mother never got activated at first place. The person on the call used abusive and threatning language. Kindly look into the matter and help us getting rid of this menace called ABN AMRO Bank.

IN last statement you had debited charges Rs.600/- for overlimit card value exesrs.250/-around. i had not request for overlimit useing of my cardlimit. Ihad paid my last month bill on[protected] and its cleared also. Its is not poper way to debit any amount. please reverse the entry and give me credit of rRs.600/- in next statement.Sorry for inconvinence and thanks for cooperation.

I would inform you that your bank charges Rs 4499/- + Rs 463.39 (now as on 25.11.09, added late fees & financial charges also) on September 2009 but this amount not related to me. On 17.09.09 a complained through mail but there was no response. The ABN Amro bank another replied on 13th November 2009, that this amount to be revert within 5 working days. But till date I have not received any mail regarding that amount from Abn Amro Bank..
On 25.11.2009 my wife attended “Leather world” Kolkata, Shyambazar, for purchase of a leather bag but the credit card declined to accept it showing the card is inactive. This a clean case of Insult to my wife, me also.
I would now request you to kindly look after the matter and inform me.
