[Resolved]  ABS Motors-Gurgaon — Defective Piece Delivered

I bought TATA Indigo last year in Aug'09 from ABS motor-gurgaon and since then we are facing problems. The problem started right from the beginning, the day when we went for the delivery the defective piece was shown to us . (there was no of scratches on the car, door rubber was melting and there was grease all over the door, the carpet was dirty, infact the seat covers were also not cleaned,. It looks like they were giving us used car even after paying price for new car) When we refused to take the delivery of the car and asked them to refund our money they told us that there will be penalty charge incase we go for cancellation booking. The entire 4.60 lakh was already given to them and thus we were helpless to take delivery of the car from abs motors itself.. Then after having long conversation with Mr Sagar(Sales Manager) he then asked us to collect the delivery after 2 days. On 2nd day when we reached ABS Motors, Gurgaon ,we realised the car's AC was not working, Sales manager then promised us to get the AC problem rectified on very next day . We sent the car to the workshop through one of the sales representative, but on delivery we came to know that the Stepney of the car was missing. We then again followed for the same for 15 days and then they asked us to give Rs 5000/- for new Stepney.
In Jan'10, car got over heated due to abnormal functioning of engine fan due to which the engine was damaged. Even the TATA workshop employees accepted that the car is defective and engine problem never comes in a new car. Though they replaced the engine parts but the engine was making noise which even they failed to understand. after repeated follow-ups with ABS motor workshop manger (Mr Ashok), the problem was not solved. He was not at all cooperative and courteous enough to address the issues. Finally he told us that he couldn’t do much about the engine noise. He was so much arrogant that he even stopped picking up the phone calls and asked to go to consumer court Incase if we have any issue with the car.


This was not all ... 15-20 days back again break fluid pipe got burst due to which break failed. I almost saved myself from the accident at that point of time.

From day one we have been facing number of issues with the car and ABS motors and we have been mentally tortured by them. Employees are not at all cooperative. We have doubt that the defective piece that was shown to us on the very 1st day was delivered to us after 2 days. For a layman its difficult to judge the authenticity of a car being delivered to him at that point of time.
For a salaried class, its not easy to sell and purchase the car every year.
The car is giving me problem every month.

I want the replacement of the car and compensation for the mental harassment.

I bought Tata Indigo Manza from ABS motors on 28.11.2010 and the very next day I got the car back to ABS Gurgaon as there was some alignment problem (as the car was never checked by ABS before delivery).
Mr. Kuldeep from ABS Motors has taken my car four times to ABS workshop but still the problem could not be rectified.
Mr. Ashok Giri from ABS has promised me that the problem will be rectified.

Instead of happiness of new car till date I am in pain and the is being felt by my family.
I have purchased a new car and it was supposed to be zero defect free, but unfortunately unchecked car is delivered to me and I am being the sufferer.

My loan got sanctioned from TATA Finance and I am not sure weather I will be able to make payment as my car is still defective.

I request all the people in this mail, be it Mr. Giri, Mr. Kuldeep, The customer care, The sales Team or even Tata Finance to please give me a happy moment.
I have a regular customer of Maruti Suzuki and had driven Alto and WagonR from Apra but never had such problem.
It is still very difficult for me to understand that if there is a defect in a new car then why was it delivered to me?

I always get my car servicing done at the A B S Motors Gurgaon (Harayana).the vehicle servicing is worst and not up to the mark.my car was sent to the servicing station due to a problem, inspite of sending it no of times the problem has not yet solved.im totally dissatisfied with it both technically and mechanically.

i bought this problem to the notice of the concerned person several times as it was neglected.this would be the last complaint wheras i completely lost my patience fighting on it.i request you to take proper action regarding my problem.plz dont loose customers.
