I have terminated my Airtel mobile connection on 12th July 2011 after making all outstanding payments. However, on 29the Aug, Airtel sent me a mail asking me to make payment. Even after repeatedly asking for explanation and status of closure, theey have not responded withe any such detail. I have discontinued my connection since I moved to US on 12the July and has been here ever since.
Airlel has started calling my sister and father in India and use intimidatory and abusive language and threatened them that they will move the court on this issue.
We have raised this issue with the Bharti Airtel Ombudsperson however, we did not recieve any help.
