[Resolved] Aviva Life Insurance — Misguided with policy | |||
Respected Sir, Myself Azadkumar M Darda I have taken house loan from centurion bank of punjab on that basis they have offered me HOME LOAN POLICY in such a way that in case any thing happens to me due to which my family should not come on road. I was suffered from minor heart attack on 8th august 2007, and i had a Angeo Plasti at that time, due to which my financial condition was poor and it got worst in 2009, so i went to AVIVA LIFE INSURANCE office branch located at KOREGOAN PARK i got to know that my policy was not home loan policy it was (UNIT LINKED POLICY) in case any thing happned to me bank person would have taken my home and my family would have been thrown out of my own house. They have not only stopped on that Aviva life insurance have given lot of mental harrasment due to which i am always ill. Aviva Insurance Company policy no. W.L.G 1503837 on this they keep on harrasing me by calling me continuosly at anytime or by sending letter. I have already sent letter to aviva life insurance company dated[protected],[protected] and[protected] and till date they have not taken any desicision and just keep on sending letters. So now i have decide either company will pay me amount of RS. 25,00,000. in words Rs TWENTY FIVE LAKH ONLY. or else we would be filling all the complaints which are mentioned in the provided letters has they have done fraud with us. They told us that they would be providing HOME LOAN POLICY and instead of that they have provided UNIT LINKED POLICY which is not at all authorized. My home loan is for 12 years and they have provide me policy for 30 years. We have already provided copy of this letter to IRDA on[protected] and[protected]. We are waiting for your reply and expecting your support to get justice as early as possible as they have unprofessionally done their work and also misleaded to us till date. We would like to assure you that upon receipt of your concern, we have thoroughly investigated your case. Your policy was inforced basis the details mentioned in your proposal form.
All policy features like the policy tenure, premium payment amount, etc have been extracted from the proposal form and have been effected in the policy as per the proposal form. Your signed consent on this document was understood as an agreement to the features of the policy.
Further, we would like to inform you that as per the terms and conditions of your policy, in case the surrender value of your policy falls below an amount equivalent to one years’ premium, your policy shall automatically terminate and the surrender value will be paid to you.
Subsequently, the policy was Autofore closed on 1.06.2010 and a refund cheque was dispatched to your correspondence address.
In case you have not encashed the autofore closure cheque and wish to re- instate the policy, we would request you to get in touch with the nearest branch.
