[Resolved]  Bajaj Allianz Motor Insurance — Outright denial to Insure a vehicle

I had been to an Bajaj allianz motor insurance office to get my RX 135 insured, they are out rightly denying to insure the vehicle, the reason when asked for they are claiming that it is an official order, when i insisted they gave me the reason that if there is any claim the spares are costly, claim cost will be more hence they do not insure old model vehicles.
If that is the case they do not have the logical rights to continue as an organization as it is like cheating the motor industry, in sense they want only income and they are not ready to compensate the consumer even though it is an case of 1 in 5000 consumer. Then there is no meaning left of motor regulatory dept making an law that insurance is a must for all vehicles plying / owned.

Any thing can be done for this kind of attitude by an Insurance company.

Bajaj Allianz never values its customers. They are fraud.

Here is a issue I have been beating my head over and have already wasted 2 days for no reason and for no fault of mine:

Today Date and Time: 2nd March 2013 14:57 Indian Standard Time

This is regarding the Policy OG[protected]-00014035

This policy is expiring on 3rd March 2013 at 12 mid night and I have been trying to renew it online through your web portal but it throws the following error

TThe policy OG[protected]-00014035 cannot be renewed online. Kindly contact nearest branch office.


I called the customer care number today morning and spoke to someone who failed to five a solution and said the policy is blocked and it can not be renewed online and I need to visit the nearest branch office.

I said I am in Pondicherry at the moment and the policy is taken in Bhubaneswar and he confirmed that this is not a problem as its all central and any branch will be able to resolve it. He was kind enough to share the Pondicherry branch contact number which is[protected].

I spoke to Mr. LaxmiNarayan of Pondicherry branch and rushed there immediately and was there by 11:45AM. I had to spend an hour there but to no fruit as they too could not renew it and asked me my contact number and said they will revert back by 30 minutes as the policy stays blocked. They also said that because its a Bhubaneswar policy, its hard for them.

I immediately called a contact in Bhubaneswar and got the contact details of the person from who I had originally taken the policy. His Name is Mr. Akshaya Sahoo and his contact number is [protected] (I am also keeping him in CC of this email for his reference). I intimated him the case and he confirmed that he would renew immediately without any problem and I was relaxed. He insisted on the money being sent to him and I immediately arranged the same through a contact in Bhubaneswar.

The contact called Mr. Akshaya and was ready to visit him when Mr. Akshaya informed that the policy is in blocked state and can not be renewed now and that we need to wait and that he has already written to Bajaj Allianz head office for the same.

Fe hours passed and no results. Upon inquiry he said that the policy might not get renewed today as no response has come yet from head office and that he would renew it on Sunday.

Is that a Joke? I have been telling everyone that the policy expires on Sunday the 3rd of March at mid night so how can I wait till Monday? And where is my fault here?

I have wasted my entire day as of now with lot of metal agony and have missed a lot of important and productive assignments because of this policy renewal process.

I called customer care again and the 1st call went in air after speaking to the 1st representative and I made another attempt and spoke to someone responsible who could co-operate atleast but without any real solution.

My demand:

1. I have faced nothing less than metal trauma so far because of the unprofessional and careless attitude of Bajaj Allianz.
2. I demand the renewal be done by next 6 hours positively and the policy document be sent to my email id.
3. I beleive considering the trauma I am still going through, I should be given this renewal for free without charging anything and some additional compensation be given. I have already wasted my productive hours worth 10 times more than the policy amount and also the physical pain of visiting to and from the branch office here and all went wasted all because of a fault in your system and NULL of me.

I am attaching 2 files of the voice call I had few minutes ago with Bajaj Allianz renewal department and I recorded the same for my safety as the call in the morning went wasted without any result. The conversation will help you assess the situation as well.
