[Resolved]  Bangalore Auto drivers — Cheating and Abusing

One day in bright day light i asked an autowalla to take me from Hotel Royal Orchid Suites to a place called Lake view farm which was close to this hotel and told him the way and he settled for Rs. 20. then suddenly midway on some busstop he stopped and asked me to get off and pay him. i was alone with my 2yrs old son. when i told him he should not have done like this as this is wrong. He started abusing me and said he will molest me. He was screaming on top of his voice but 10-12 men and women standing on the busstop where silently listening not one person came for help. I gave him his money and got off the auto immediately but still he got down and kept on abusing. I also started screanming at him as i had my self respect and could not take it anymore. He spit on me but i managed to escape it. Then suddenly he came forward and hit me hard on my face. Now I too removed my shoe and hit him. He now tried to escape in his auto. i caught hold of his collar. tried to pull his keys but unfortunately the keychain broke in my hand and he escaped. couldnt even note down his number. But all this while those people at the busstop were silent spectators to all this. I was totally shaken as if this had happened in Mumbai people would have grabbed the autowala and hit him real hard but Bangaloreans were cowards, not one of them had the courage to help a woman being abused and hit in broad daylight. I have sweared never to step in Bangalore ever again. To summarise it all Bangalorean auto and cab drivers are cheats, chors, rogues, rascals, and cowards of the first grade. All you women travelling to Bangalore must be very carefull. Either hire a pre paid car for the full trip or just avoid going there if you can.
