[Resolved]  Blue Starac — NO ACTION TAKEN

Dear Sir,

I am a foreigner presently residing in Delhi, and was previously living in Noida. I have purchased 3 units of 1 ton Window type AC from Blue Star. I was told and guaranteed that the AC's would be having 1 year warranty. That incase there will be something wrong with it, they would come and check. I and my other foreign officemates were able to use the AC's only for 4 months. As the winter started already, we stopped using the AC's. Unfortunately, a day before I moved from Noida to Delhi (last month), I found out that the 3 AC's were not cooling. ALL 3 OF THEM! So when I transferred to Delhi, I immidiately asked my assistant to call the dealer to check the AC's, as it was not cooling. But the money-sucking, no-caring dealer, did not even show-up and insisted that they will not check the AC's coz its my fault that its not working coz I removed the AC's!! They accused me of such thing like they were so sure what was wrong, even though they HAVE NOT SEEN NOR CHECKED the AC's. It left me no choice but to file a formal complain to BLUE STAR. Complaining to them about their dealer. But then again, LIKE SUPPLIER, LIKE DEALER..I have heard almost 30 promises from them. That they will have it fixed. One time somebody came in my house to check and said that after 2 days someone would come and pull-out the AC's.. 2 weeks had past, but neither a voice nor a shadow of the BLUE STAR GUYS came.. when I did a follow-up, guess what they told me?? I need to pay 7, 000+ for EACH AC to have it fixed!!! I asked them what happened to my warranty.. and said that the part was not covered by warranty. Which was contrary to the statement given to me buy one of the blue star guys. I have called Mr. Sandeep ([protected]). He's the one who told me that I have to pay 7, 000+ per AC..I have bought the AC from them for almost 50, 000!!! and after 4 months used only, they are asking me to pay 21, 000!!! for it to get fixed..And now Sandeep had passed me over again to Mr. Bhaskar ([protected])! I am treated like a ball that they keep passing -on! nobody wants to take responsibility! I feel deceived and cheated-on! i find this very unfair and UNJUST as it was still under warranty. Now 1 month had passed and the AC's are still not working..Im still hearing promises from them that someone who is an OFFICIAL ENGINEER of blue star would come. I have had 3 people who cheked out my AC already..And still NOTHING!! I was left but with no choice but to file a formal consumer complaint against them. I have trusted them by their word and guarranteed me immidiate result. And after purchasing from them, and after they got what they wanted this is what they do to their customers! I am very dissappointed and upset. I am a female foreigner, living alone in my house with 3 Ac's not working ALL AT THE SAME TIME! I bought these AC's from them thinking it will make my stay in India more at home and compfortable, like my home in Philippines. But instead, I get sleepless nights and often wake-up from sweating! Now I think that they are just waiting for my warranty to expire and reason out to me that my expiration date has come. Im just a few days away from the expiration of my warranty. IT WOULD BE OF GREAT HELP IF YOU CAN HELP ME. I HAVE NO FAMILY HERE, AND IS STAYING ALONE. I FEEL BETRAYED, DECEIVED AND CHEATED ON. ALL I WANT IS WHAT WAS PROMISED TO ME.

Blue Star,Water Dispenser — No Follow up Service or Communication from Company for The Product under warranty

Hi

Thank you for having such a Board where by Customers like us can post their grievances and get our problems solved.

I had purchased a Blue Star, Water Cooler on 15.05.2008 for my company, which stopped working a day or two before 25.03.2009. We registered a complain by phone and on 25.03.2009 some one from Blue Star come for inspection and found the Compressor dead. Since that date there has been no Communication from the company, in spite of our regular contact through mails & phone. We have received no Concrete reply as to when the product will be fixed.Its been more than a month that I have been sending regular mails to their Complaint department but barring a regret mail no other communication has been received.

I would request you to please look into the matter at the earliest possible

I have been having similar experience with blue star ACs. They make big promise but no service. Blue star ACs good only for large size and for all small - home ACs they are no good.

Best is for blue star to put all energies in large central type ac only.
I have loudge a complain for Blue star split ac on 25-Jul-2009. My complained no 31458. Till now nobody has respond against my complain.

This is for your information & necessary action.

Dear Sirs,

This is to bring to your urgent attention that we purchased a 1.5 Tons BLUE STAR split air conditioner costing INR 32, 000/- from your authorized agent in Trivandrum vide Invoice # PROD/08-09/111470 Dated 27-Feb-2009, . The Customer name is Mrs. Jicky Win (my wife), Kochumamootil House, Koyikkal Lane, KNRA 316, Kannanmoola, Trivandrum, Kerala, South India. Your agent details as follows:

Complaints started immediately after the AC was installed. Your above agent repaired the AC more than six (06) times in six months. It broke down yesterday also. Today morning they came and replaced the blown fuse. It’s understood from one of the technician’s that there is some major complaint/ manufacturing defect with the purchased air conditioner which they find it difficult to rectify. What we feel is that your agent is purposely delaying to rectify/replace the faulty AC until the warranty expires.

In good faith we purchased BLUE STAR Air conditioner since BLUE STAR was known as one of the best manufacturers of Air conditioners in India. The prices of Blue Star products are also very high when compared to competitor’s similar products. We now regret for purchasing BLUE STAR product.

Therefore we request your good selves to intervene in this matter and get the faulty AC replaced as soon as possible since your agent could not rectify the complaints permanently even after working on this faulty AC for six months.

In case, if we do not receive any replies this week, we will assume that you are not interested to resolve this matter. Then we will be forced to move legally/approach the “Consumer Redressal Forum” and bring to the attention of Media how consumers are being neglected/cheated.

We would highly appreciate your prompt and speedy action on this matter which is getting serious.

Blue StarAC — not received guarantee card and manual book

I have purchased blue star window ac on may 2009. But till dated I have not recived the manual book and gurantee card for the unit. The dealer is telling that the company will send but i dont know when it will come

Blue Star — No post purchase service

Called the company for maintenance of the air conditonor and was told that this could only be done before or after the season as there is no man power with the blue star compny. The person concerned or spoken to was Mahesh, one of the dealers of Blue Star at vizag. post calling the toll free no. the complaint was registered from my end however no sms was sent stating that a ticket has been opened. The could not find the ticket which i had raised. The poor post service is not acceptable at all. Upon asking him in vizag what is the season for pre and post season there was no reply.

7 star — No service complaints

Service has been erratic. Broadband services are appalling. There is no service most of he time. Regular complaints have fallen on deaf ears. Staff with zero interaction & communication skills. 7 star company does not have an online consumer grievance section. Even contact details are not mentioned on the site.

With such services which are not compliant to the norms set by TRAI/other authorities, would want to lodge a formal complaint against them.

Blue Star AC 1.5 Ton — Not attend and poor service

dear sir we have purchased two ac from dealerbefore three month. one ac goot deffectbefore 20 daysthat repaired after once weak. now same ac deffectedon 28july 2010 complainwas loagge to customer careservice vide no 150101. but still no any responce from blue star
I had a worst experience with the authorised dealer P.G.Omega Enterprises operated at chennai for Blue Star AC. While trying to clean the filters, some water deposits caused the shortcircuit & bursted. While the authorised dealer was called, very pathetic service stating, why we had done the cleaning, why we did not agree for AMC? Is the authorised service centre working for customer service or to mint money in the name of AMC.They did not turn up for 3 days inspite of several oral requests. After the part was removed, it took 12 working days to complete the job. Mr.Anil who is heading this authorised service centre is threatening that the work will not be carried if we try to clean and if they are not called. Very worst service from the authorised service centre.[ so called service provider ]. They are not providing service, they are only money minded.

I had a worst experience with the authorised dealer Sri Sai Enterprise operated at Ahmedabad for Blue Star AC. we have called the authorised dealer so many times but found very pathetic service.they did not turn up for 3 days inspite of oral commitments. they have visited after 4 days of the complain & as it was not in the concern person's hand & someone else will come to the repair the ac but till date no one has visited.
we have logged a complain to customer care department also but as per the conversation after a wek also nobody has visited n as we have remind them they behave like even they are not aware from the complain also.
Mr Ankit Desai who is authorised person for the servcie centre always give wrong promises & after 1 or 2 call no courtecy to pick up the call.
it is realy worst servcie from the authorised servcie centre...only money matters for them they dont belive in customer satisfaction & quality of the servcie...

never ever dare to spend my valuable money on such kind of worst service provider company...
I lodged a complaint with Bluestar Customer Care bearing complaint No.B[protected], ONE Of their representatives called me on 31.05.2013 and said their visiting fees is 500 and Rs.2200 for gas re-filling and moreover they will have to take the ac to their work shop. I agreed and around 11am one of their representatives visited my home, prepared the Field report sheet and taken Rs.500 as visiting charge and taken the A/C for repair. On 02, 06.2013, i called up the supervisor's number, he informed that Engineer is working on your AC. But to my surprise on 04.06.2013 when I rang the same supervisor he is saying that please let me know ur complaint no, and saying that ur complaint has been cancelled and no such AC has come for repair to our workshop.

According to them a froad entered in between and taken our AC and after seeing the Original receipt of Blue star they were surprised and showing a sorry face. I feel some of their personnel are mixing with the person who stole our AC, as they provided all the information such as phone no., address etc. this is really a shame for such a big name such as BLUE STAR, TILL NOW THEY DID NOT RECTIFIED MY COMPLAINT, I WAIT TILL TWO DAYS AND I AM GOING TO LODGE A COMPLAINT AGAINST BLUE STAR AND I WILL EXPOSE THIS TO THE PRESS

they are doing consultancy business but they have no capability for giving jobs to engineering students.
initially they ask me to pay 2500 rs but still i did not get any job, finally i demand them to repay my money but they are refusing to give back my money
