[Resolved]  BSNL — POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

Iam writing this complaint from hyderabad..I Use to have an Airtel mobile connection ([protected])..I applied to change my Mobile network from Airtel to BSNL on the same num by using mobile num portability..when I applied for this portability at paradise cellone office on 27/01/2011 they advised that the network change will be done in 1 week and also advsd me that once my airtel sim gets deactivated then the number will get activated on BSNL sim within 1or2 hrs..however ...on 05/02/2011 my sim was deactivated from airtel and since that day every day iam calling to BSNl customer care and was checking when it will get activated ..every time i gave a call to the customer care ..they use to advise me that it will be activated in 24 hrs ..but it was never ..some how it was activated on 11/02/2011.. since that day on my sim it is showing up as bsnl mobile..however iam not abel to recieve incoming calls..when i call to that number it says number does not exist ..so every day iam calling teh customer care on 1503 from the sae num ([protected]) and speaking to the agents about it and they were advsising me that it will be done witin 24 hrs..but still it was never succesfull..On 12./05/2011 i spoke to a supervisor called usha in the customer care department and explained my whole situation to her ..she advsd tht she will raise a complaint for the technicall team and will resolve the isuue in 48 hrs...so i again waited for that time thinking that they will help me..however when i called on 14/02/2011 in the morning she advsd tht it is not yet 48 hrs and advsd tht i still need to wait for that time..so as i dont have an option i waited..again in the evening after completeing my 48 hrs time i called and she advsd tht she just spoke t the technicall tream and they advsd her that it will be done in another 6hrs...so i waited as usual and again on 15/02/2011 i called the customer care to speak with usha who promised that it will be done...however when i called for the first time the agent advsd that she is not availabel..so i advised that i will wait ..after some time he placed teh call on hold and disconnected teh call ..i again called in the after noon and they repeated the same thing..in the eveningf also i called and they are disconneceting the call stating that will place teh call on hold..so finally for the last time i called to teh customer care and spoke to Mr Devender and advsd him to xfr the call to supervisor..the i spoke to Mr Suresh Kumar (supervisor) who spoek to very rudely and advised me that it will be done in 24 hrs..and disconnectd the call..


I may not change there customer service behaviour but i want to know how can ,my issue be resolved and how can they learn how to deal with a customer...Please help me ..

This is regarding of BSNL poor custoner service. Last 6 years i am one of the customer of BSNL.
My land line no.[protected]Gurgaon). I have noticed last few months my phone is NOT working properly. Every 2-3 days there is a problem in the line, either my phones was dead or there is a lot of disturbence in the line. I have register my complany through call centre(1500) and my nearest BSNL office ..Jakranda Marg (DLF ph III) also but they are not taking action on time. Either line man is visiting my residence or they are simply ignoring our complan.This is not the first time, My prior experience was NOT so good.

I wanted to raise my concern to the senior level manager/authority . Please escalade this to the Top Level.

There is no dial tone in my phone. Phone number is[protected]. I have contacted many people in the Telephone exchange in Sub. Divisional Engineer's Office in HAL 2nd Stage, Indira Nagar on 80 feet road and personally spoke to them, but none of them have taken action. I have registered a complaint on Friday, July 11, 2008 and I was given a docket number 0360. After that many times I tried to register the complaint again since there was no action, but I was getting an electronic message saying my complaint has already been registered and I was given the same docket number 0360. I spoke to the Indoor -in Charge on phone number 25290001 and according to her they have not received any complaint, eventhough complaint was made three days back. I tried to contact the Divisional engineer, but no response. I think BSNL should offer better customer service as it is hopeless now. I would appreciate if anyone could do something to rectify this issue soon. If the Telephone is not retified today, I will have to seek the assistance of the consumer forum to proceed further.

I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANY COMPANY WITH SUCH A OPOOR SERVICE. I[censored] APPLY FOR STHG IN BSNL OR I[censored] GIVE SOME COMPLAINT U CANT EXPECT REPLY FOR YEARS. U CALL THE CUSTOMER SERVICE TO SPEAK TO SOMEBODY AND U CAN HEAR THEM BANG THE PHONE BEFORE U FINISH TALKING

I had been using BSNL telephone since 2000 and we got the Broadband connection recently under Home 500c plan. My phone number is[protected]. I returned the modem to the concern authority and submitted a covering letter to Madhavaram Exchange, Chennai as I got my own modem purchased and hence requested for refund on Security Deposit. I received my monthly bill amount for Rs.2, 237/- for the month of September 2008. I had few clarifications regarding my bill amount, since there was an excess amount charged. So I called[protected] around 2.25PM on 23/08/208 thinking I would get my doubts clarified by BSNL personal. But my bad luck, one lady picked up the phone and never gave proper details regarding the bill amount. She was UNPROFFESSIONAL and VERY RUDE to me. Finally I decided that I am not going to get any help from her and eventually when asked for the name, she said her name was Soundari, Accounts Officer. She hung up the call before I could complete my conversation. I am really astonished by the service which I received from an Accounts Officer. It made me feel bad as this was a frustating experience which I never had through out my life time. I am not interested and have to think about continuing my relationship with BSNL Service.
actually my modem is taking more than 4 hours to connect, so i called 1957 for assistance.they told me to meet the jee in the near by bsnl office, when i met him he asked me to give complaint at old post office in vizag and i was given a free useless advice of meeting another official in another office at dwarakanagar .and the list carried out till i visited more than 5 offices .till then there is no one to solve my problem.
and now i have no choice than removing the connection.if this is to continue i am sure bsnl will face lack of customers as its reputation is heard in from every student.and may be in another 50 years it is these students who will be authorising the society.and definetly they will not choose bsnl.

I have taken a bbg combo 1111 from BSNL as per which my speed is supposed to be 2 mbps and after the download limit, it is suppose to cost me 30 ps/MB.

Since my speed was very slow ( 256 Kbps browsing and about 3 - 5 KBps for download, i called the customer service at [protected].
The call was recieved by a Mr Manjunath. When i asked about my plan he stated that his system is down and he is the only associate there and hence i should call at 10.00 Am next day. He argued with me and disconnected my call too.

To register my complaint, i called 1500 and reached a lady named Padma. She was sleeping and when she picked up, she spoke to be drowsily. When i informed her that My broadband speed has been cut down and about the customer service that i recieved, she rudely informed that i cannot complaint about any personnel and can maybe register my broadband complaint.
Since she was quiet for a while without informing me, when i asked, she yelled at me in kannada stating , system is slow and will take some time, so asked me to wait till she gave me the number.

Now, i do understand that BSNL employees are govt employees, but does that mean that they cannot even show basic courtesy and politeness to a customer who calls up?
This has been the worst call center experience of my lift. People sitting at the callcenter should learn basic manners.

BSNL should have ppl with customer service skills or at leave basic manners of talking and politeness, if that is not too much to ask for.

I had Broadband connection which I had cancelled because of poor service, cancelled in October but I continued with the Landline connection, the Customer Service Representatives in KPHB Colony Vth phase Office said that the Deposit amount(Rs600) will be settled in next month. But it didn't happned and my outgoing was barred. Then I went to the BSNL office(KPHB) they said to talk to accounts department. When I called they have done it.
I gave a letter to change my plan from Rs180 to Rs99 to BSNL office(KPHB Vthphase).
After one month when I received the bill I was surprised to see my plan has not been changed and outgoing is still barred. When asked about the letter in the office(KPHB Vth phase) they said they have lost the letter.

I want to complaint about the Customer Service Executives who sits in the KPHB Colony Vth phase office who talk very rude with the Customers, do not give respect to the customers, they always forward the customer queries to other departments like accounts department or technical department, they wont stick to their basic objectives,
when I ask that am not receiving telephone bills they say that I have to ask postoffice-- but when I am paying money to BSNL why I go to postoffice they say they are helpless. When I went recently with my problems they were shouting at me, they were rude with me, i was very much fustrated
Last sunday evening, I found that Rs.30 has been deducted from my bsnl prepaid account.
Surprisingly, the next morning I got a message from a no. +51234030 with a text "News BSNL Alerts is active. Rs.30 per month. Dial *456*32#, if you wish to dct.@" at 11:57, 17 Jan
However I managed to contact BSNL customer care on[protected] at 8:46am.

After I explain my problem, a customer care executive replied with harsh voice "In our system no service gets activated unless the subscriber does something."
When I tried to explain the exact scenario, he didn't listen to me and said that " No sir, what ever you say is not possible in our system. "
Again I said "I tried to deactivate the alert service by dialing the no.s mentioned in the message but the I got a response as ' Your activation request is pending.' ".
When I asked him to confirm whether that particular service is still active on my account or not.
He replied " No currently we can't give such information. "

I wonder if I will be charged every month repeatedly for that service, then it would be a loss of Rs.30 every month.
I am afraid of such kind of service from BSNL which causes unnecessary loss to me.

for me also the same complaint ..for mine airtel is deactivated and the new sim tat i got frm bsnl is not at all working frm 15days...i dnt know..these bsnl customercare is not at all taking care of customers..my mbl num is [protected]
