Broadband service is not functioning properly
I am using Bsnl broadband service ( 750 unlimited plan for around last 7 months, now changed to 250 / month) at home for home use. The Nokia siemens modem which i am using missing out the Dsl light most of the time. Some times blinking and get stable for another 2 to 3 hours again goes blinking , no internet connection. After 5.30 - 6.00 pm, its very difficult to see the dsl light stable and get internet online. I have raised a complaint at thodupuzha divisional office about the modem and phone line. Some off the officers came and inspected the line modem , everything. and they told everything will be alright from the day eve. Again the same complaint started happening from the next day morning. So i requested the junior office to check the modem. she told me there is nothing wrong with the line and modem.But at last she agreed to take the modem for inspection. its already 3 weeks , but no idea about the modem inspection. Today ,i met the divisional eng. and again repeated my problem. Again same reply, "dont worry we will check." I would say, i am paying money every month correctly Not for internet connection but for keeping the modem near my computer. Thanks to BSNL TECH team. Very good at service at least vocally. The same problem started from the very first month. Many times i called broadband help line 1504. But no correct solution. The best part is that one of the senior engineer told me that due to fluctuation in electricity at thodupuzha area, the modem is refusing to stabilize the DSL light ( electricity to modem = signal through telephone line). I am living and using the modem hardly 2 km from the bsnl exchange. My neighbor is getting the same broadband service at very good speed uninterrupted. I think these technical guys are not interested in old customers. Help needed.
