I have a 256kbps connection for the past 6 months, Last month(December) & this month (Jan 09) I had a terrible time with the service providers. The broadband connection was not available for about 11 days in Dec and finally when it come up, it was sort of a Hallicunated Net connection, 5min i could surf and the next 15min the signals were all dead!! incomplete downloads, slow speed (less than 10kb) and all that the BSNL complain board could say is dial a bla bla number and register your complaint!! and things will be done is about 24hrs...they never mentioned which 24 hour of which month thou!!...

The bill comes ontime.

The problem still persists...
sir, most humbly and respectfully i request u that i have a connection for bsnl for 750 plan home basis but when i got the bill it s was connected for business 700 plan so the bill is to high for me to paid its was about 37000 for three month after all the bill was generated after three month so what shall i do now. Its not my false as well as not your company false. And i can't pay off that bill that m student right now, so please tell what is the easiest way to solve this problem.

      For last few days my gprs connection deactivated without any reason.Previously i have GPRS and GPRSM facility.But last few days when i contact or press 0 it shown Subcribed packet data first, and gprs coneectin not available.Please you look after this case where i can mailing with net connectin.

      i have suffered about my caller tone.
      To set my caller tone, i firstly went on bsnl office and they give me RBT code which i was selected song.
      but that song is not correct but my balance is deducted RS 12& 30 RS.
      So i called to a costomer care 3 or 4 times . and told them about my problem . but they set wrong caller tone which was i am not told him.and againly my balance was deducted 12 Rs..and they not treat me wel. they did not take this seriously.
      i told him that i want to '' milke bhi hum na mile tumse na jane ku.. "in ajab prem ki gajab kahani. movie.. but they didn't

      already my balance was deducted by yours mistake.who is responsable for this???

      i recharged the preffered amount and call the customer care they told me to uptade the offer within 24 hours but i m still waiting

        I was changed wrongly in month of April 2008 for which I am keep on making mails to their "Pubilc Grievances Cell" (they do not call it "customer grievance cell" as they don't like to treat customers in the right prospective)

        I am sending mails after mails to them, and got few assurance like please await matter is under investigation, etc.

        As of now there is no proper solution to my complaint and top of it they do not share the email IDs of telecomm top brasses to us. It is well evident why public secor lossing to private companies.

        Today (11/11/2008) I have received my latest telephone bill wherein to my disappointment, there is no refund adjustment for the period while telephone was not used as BSNL was shifting the phone.

        This issue was brought to your notice in April 2008 (7 months back), I have assurance mails from your end that I should wait as you are taking some action(s).

        Now, I am searching the email IDs of telecomm. minister so that I can appraise him the reason for people moving away to private operators. Can you help me in getting the email ID, else I am already looking for the same

        Please refer you assurance on my complaint dated May 16 2008 and your assurance dated 16/5/2008, I yet to get :-

        1 Refund / adjustment for the excess amount BSNL taken by overcharging on STD @ Rs.2 per minute since Feb. 2008 till May 2008 under "One India Plan"

        2 Refund / adjustment for the rental charged for Broadband (@ 900 per month) and Phone (@ 250 per month) for a period from 4/2/2008 till 26/2/2008 while phone was not installed/operational at my new house



        Now I have two options either I should stop paying BSNL (recently received bill of Rs.1407/-) till I get my above amount adjusted then shift to private phone operator or get a clear assured date by which my complaint is resolved to a conclusive manner.



        Please suggest what should I do ?

        this refers to your mail dated 29/4/2008, wherein it was assured that I will get adjustments in my next bill for :-

        1 rent rebate for period from[protected] till[protected] as phone was under shifting

        2 reversal of excess charges because of wrong billing charged Rs.2/- per minute in "One India Plan"



        I received my latest bill dated 10/5/2008 wherein no rebate was given for above also I am still overcharged Rs.2/- per minute in "One India Plan" even in current bill.



        As the similar act was done in past also, I have all the reason to believe that there is a bad intension to cheat consumer as the details of STD charges are not made available to consumer, thus consumer is kept unaware of the fraud.



        In these circumstances, I would like to cancel my connection and Look forward for refund "with interest", please do the needful and acknowledge the receipt of my complaint.

        In case I do not receive a satisfactory action/reply, I may be forced to go in unpleasant (legal) way

        I just got my May bill and checked the details of STD calls.



        As per my plan "One India" BSNL should charge me one rupee per minute of STD but they have charged me almost double the amount by making pulse rate of 30 second and I am billed @rupee one per 30 seconds.



        I do not know from how long they are doing like this as earlier I was not getting STD details from BSNL.



        I tryed talking to BSNL helpline number 1500 and they asked me to talk to Mr. R Mugam Accounts Officer at phone number 26618130 but this number is not reachable.



        Again I told the problem to BSNL helpline number 1500 then they have given me another number i.e. 26618030 of Senior Accounts Officer, but this number is keep on ringing and no body respond on the line.



        While I asked for e-mail id of Accounts Officer / Senior Account Officer of BSNL, no body able to help me on their helpline number (1500).



        In these circumstances I request your intervention.

        I was called by this number [protected]. Some recorded message about selection of tune was announced. Since I am not interested in this matter I disconnected the calls. Later I received a message from BA 56700 at 02:16:56 pm that Rs.25/- was deducted from my account for tunes. Again there is a meesage from the same BA 56700 at 02.22.40 pm that Rs.12/- was deducted from my account for tunes. When I checked my account I found that Rs.37/- was deducted. Immediately i contacted the BSNL custmer care Number [protected]. They again and again told that I may pressed any one of the button to activate the tume. I am not pressing any button in my mobile except the call cancelling button. It is unfair like BSNL such a largest telecom net in India to call like this and deduct the amount without the knowledge of the customer. I could not tollerate this type of activity. So. please take necessary step to revert my account to avoid to take any legal action .

        I was in Home UL 1350 past months and I requested for plan change to Home Combo 500C last month (NOV 09) but for the first four days the plan didn't change so I used my net freely as if I was doing in when i m in unlimited plan.The fifth day the plan changed so from that day I used limitedly.For that month i used approx 1.4 GB(as per my BSNL portal ID info) which is less than 1.5 GB free amount.But i was billed around 13 thousand.So kindly take action to reduce my Bill amount.Additional Info :I am using for my Home purposes only.

          I had applied for BSNL Landline and Broadband connection 6 weeks Back. I got the land line connection within 2 weeks, after roaming to thier office several times, they are not providing the broadband connection even the workorder is generated.
          I have been following up with these people, but nobody is giving proper response. All the requests and complaints have never been answered properly

            Hello,

            I'm customer of BSNL DataOne BroadBand service. before 4 months i applied for broadband service but BSNL only activated service but not serving. For my home uasage i've to depend on my i'net connection but during 1 month period hardly 3 days i'net is running and that is not prectictable.

            I complained BSNL 10 time during last 2 months but it's of no use.They are charging me full monthly rental but not giving service.

            Hi Atiqur, bsnl 750 plan gives u unlimited D/U at 256 kbps(kilo bits per second) = apropx. 36 kBps(kilo bytes per second)...so thaz the speed everyone in the plan gets dude.
            the grabbiest broadband connection is BSNL dataone. actually it is a narrowbrand. if you intend to go for internet connection, don't go near to BSNL dataone.
            yes i am too uding 750 unlimited plan but i cant get speed more than 30 kbps
            why does bsnl offer more b/w for 500c and other plans except for 750 unlimited where it offers a d/u speed of 30 kbps

At that time the related employes told me to install telephone within one week . After 10 days i also recived a telephone call by the employee of related exchange, at my landline number about enquiry and asking about site of that connection .
              But after one month when i enquired about my connection from exchange, then the higher authority(J.E.) of exchange refused me to issue that type of connection to me, without any solid reason . They harrash me, whenever i enquired about connection .

              I am trying to register on portal.bsnl.in regarding bsnl landline complaint and also on 1500 but did not work out fior me finally trying to post my complaint here. MY phone[protected] its not working properly from atleast one year. If you ill check out the complaints regarding my phone number in your system database you will be able to recognize. Last time 3 months ago i replaced my site at local exchange bathinda just day before yesterday again they told me to replace the set. I am just wandering how BSNL technical team troubleshoot the fault. IN addition i dont know how thing work in india with govt office like BSNL. MY phone wires are taped its not well connected due to this every time we got EMI(Elextro Magnetic Interference) and their is lot of static nosie. We had been complaint nultiple times but we dont get permanent solution. Also i got broadband connection 3 months ago i had to change my plan from 1350 to 750 Plus because of bad landline service. My internet works rarely 10 days out of 30 days and i have to pay the full charges. I would like to talk to one of the senior representative who can have solution for my problem. Today again i am going to local exchange to get replaced my phone. As a customer i am really frustrated with BSNL service. Just need o now why they dont fix the problem they just try to make some excuse everytime een we pay the full bills.

                We, the BSNL Prepaid customers under Students Suvidha plan are not able to send sms and the problem occur occationally in many days in a week and persist for more than a day. The customer care guys have no clue about the matter. The always says "NETWORK PROBLEM". We bought the connection mainly because of its attractive sms offer. Kindly consider this problem with immediate effect

                me too have the same problem... but in a different way... only long messages are not being delivered... short messages i.e. o[censored]nder 60 characters are ok... its almost 2 days now... i too had the same experience to that o[censored]rs more than 3 times... this should be solves... because the connection is all for that... quick action needed... thank you...
                I'm a BSNL Prepaid under Students Suvidha plan, it's going to be one month and i'm not able to get my message balance.I just tried to activated by sendind "WP" to 53733 and it just returned me the details of my prepaid plan and i even tried to get my msg balnce by typing *102#, but of no use.Kindly consider this problem with immediate effect.

                  As you all know that BSNL has provided a free post paid cellone connection to the all landline holder under the scheme called "Manik Jod" which is totally rent free. I had also taken and registered under that scheme when it first came into effect but now after almost one year, I received a message that manik jod customer will be charged Rs 40 as a rental every month from 07.01.2009, which according to me is a total breach of contract between the BSNL customer and BSNL. They just have taken the customer as a rat whom they want to catch by giving a free cheese. This is totally disgusting and by this customer has started lossing their faith and trust on this company.

                    the site 10.240.240.195 is not opening so that i can check my broadband usage.

                    i want to fresh user id becouse i forgetuser name and password
                    Have not been able to open my email for last two months.

                    when I want to see my usage I can only view the KB on not how much amount I had spend for the last month and unbilled amount i[censored] give clear picture regarding the usage I can aware how much I must use or not and carried to next month. the bill for me is so heigher I could not pay in one Instalement can u provide me to pay my monthly bill in Two Instalement which will be easily paid the bill with out any problems.                       1. It is submitted that BSNL mobile no. [protected] (Unique ID No.[protected] in the name of Major Mridul M Nair of this unit was disconnected and final bill for an amount of Rs.1614/- paid at your office at Rajouri, Jammu & Kashmir on 23 Jun 08 vide BSNL CELLONE JAMMU TELECOM DISTRICT RECEIPT NO. 0706062.

                      2. The SIM card was deposited on 23 Jun 08 while the final bill was cleared. However, no record/receipt to the same was obtained due to ignorance on the part of my staff. Moreover, it was believed that final bill is accepted only on deposition of the SIM at the BSNL office. After deposition and final bill clearance, the staff at the office informed us that the security deposit would be sent to the Owner of the SIM card i.e, Major Mridul M Nair in 2-3 months time.

                      3. More than 6 months have elapsed and no action has been taken by the office for refund of security deposit, stating that the SIM card is required to be deposited in the office, while the same was already done on 23 Jun 08.

                      4. It is not understood as to how the final bill payment could be made without deposition of the SIM card. The same was deposited but no receipt was given by the extremely busy staff at BSNL Office, Rajouri, J & K. It appears as if the staff at the office was only trying their best to trouble the Army Men for vested interests in the form of Cash or Kind (Liquor).

                      5. Such irresponsible behaviour on the part of the staff is only a reflection of the larger organization that they are part of. It is very sad that the very Army Men who are guarding the country at the cost of even their precious lives are being made to undergo this agony.

                      6. It is requested that suitable actions may please be taken at your end if deemed fit. Further, staff at your end may please be briefed not to keep customers in the dark and to educate them regarding the issue. Also, it is also recommended that a policy be made that any further termination of connection after payment of final bills be accepted only after deposition of the SIM card. The same also be endorsed in the final bill receipt.

                        I had applied for conversion of my postpaid mobile no. [protected] to that of prepaid on 02.01.2009 at BSNL customer care centre Jaipur and was assured that this will be done within 24 hours.I was given a new SIM after taking back the existing one but sorry to mention that the new SIM has not been activated till now despite my repeated visits and complaints to the BSNL authorities.

                            I had changed by house from Kaderanapalaya to Ayyapanagar in August, so I applied for change of telephone along with Broadband facility on August 15th 2008. Till November I was not given connection. In Nov 2008 I got connection for only land line. however in Dec I got bill for Broadband. I had complained regarding this to the AE Mr. Sukumaran, and by so much of preciving I got the bill cancelled as I din't get the get the broadband connection. I got a new bill with Rs 0 to pay. However the land line was disconected due to non payment of Bill, I have been perceving Mr. Sukumaran, AE, KR Puram. he verified all the documents and said there is no pending bill. However the land line is not restored till now. Its had been 15 days since the telephone is dosconnected.

                            Till date its more than 5 months but I have not got the Internet connection.
                            Telephone does not work if the power goes off.
                            5-7 days in the month telephone does not work

                              Dear sir,

                              I am also resident of Virar West having BSNL telephone connection bearing no 2505258. My phone is out of order for the past one month. In fact it is more than a month because it was working for a week after being out of order for 8-10-days.

                              I waited for one week before placing complaint on 24.12.08 vide docket no 1736.


                              There are many phones out of order since long in our Suman Complex, Virar.

                              Why no one is showing interest in completing the job?

                              Will anyone look into this problem?

                              Without asking they should also give rebate in phone rent as the phone is not working more than 15 days.

                                BSNL,

                                I have requested for shifting my telephone from Brookefields to Kasavanahalli on 18/11/2008. Its been more than one and a half month now and Ihave not yet got the phone shifted. As per the commercial office in Koramangala the new Phone #[protected] has been alloted on Nov 27th itself.

                                I never find any official in the Kasavanahalli office. When ever I find someone I get a standard answer that my connection wil be set in another one to two hours.

                                Mohan (AE) had promised me couple of times that the phone conection wil be restored in 2 hours. I do not understand by how long is the 2 hours gonna be now.

                                I do not understand if they are delaying this for bribe?

                                I request the concerned people in BSNL to look into this issue at the earliest.

                                  hello,
                                  I have paid bsnl landlines bill using online bill pay facility from bsnl portal.
                                  money is deducted from my bank account but bsnl portal shows status as initiated only.
                                  i am receiving calls from bsnl office that pay the bill otherwise they will cut the connection.
                                  request you please let me customer care number of BSNL.

                                  I have registered two days back only for start<space>DND for not getting the unwanted SMSs and most unwanted commercial calls(that too when we are on national roaming condition). This I did, after going over to the Abhiramapuram BSNL telephone exchange office in Chennai, in their presence, confirming that this menace will stop immediately. But to my utter dismay, there is no effect to this registration. Even the BSNL office promptly sent a message saying that, "please wait for the registration number for this, START<space>DND" service. But there is no effect. Neither the BSNL had sent any registration number nor such coming of those SMSs stopped. Those messages are coming as usual without any regret and also such commercial calls from all the franchisee's of these all private banks and credit card companies and private insurance companies. The BSNL should take the responsibility to stop this menace. But they are only providing these number and persons name, to these parties, people are telling, but what is the real story, we customers do not know. These BSNL and other mobile company people think that "we customers are not necessary to them" and now that the facility for mobile shift facility is available, they probably feel, that we are not important to them and if we do not like their connection in any manner, you can as well drift to any other mobile company using this number and feel the pinch of that fresh nuisance afresh there and then you would be forced to take a view that "the other side looks always green" and you will automatically forced to come back to us. So why the hell we should take any action at all on these such complaints and "START<space>DND" registrations. So my best advise to you all !!!
                                  !) No point in making such registrations
                                  2)No mobile company is going to take cognizance of such registration and they do not want such "nuisance registrations"
                                  3)So the moment any message comes, you open the message and read only few lines OR have only a glance of first few lines to understand as to whether this message is required for you or not and consequently, without even reading the whole message, just delete it summarily without any regret, but with utmost happiness if possible.
                                  4) Similarly any commercial calls from any such person, the moment you hear they say that loan etc., you say "thanks" and simply disconnect the line next second.
                                  These are only ways we can do in this country and no mobile operator is interested in the customer's happiness and satisfaction.
                                  I am from Chennai in Besant nagar area. This is my simple piece of advice.

                                    This is a loyal customer of BSNL, i am one of the oldest customer of BSNL. I was one of the first member to take broadband in my area.. now i have changed my location and even i have my plan from 500 to 250 and now to 750 unlimited... I am oberserving lot of changes in the speed... Now from 20th Dec I am observing that the speed is very slow and even the connection is dropping regularly... When i try to dowload anything the download speed i am getting is 1 kbps or 2 kbps which i was getting earlier around 30-40 kbps... and even when i try to download 1mb file in the mid way the connection drops which makes our life very miserable and now the situation is like... I am not accessing NET from my home i am accessing from my company which has limitations...
