SUB: - GRIEVANCE OF A HONDA OWNER

SIR/MADAM,

WITH DUE RESPECT IT IS SUBMITTED THAT I BOUGHT A NEW BIKE NAMELY CB-TWISTER (CBF100MC) HAVING FRAME NO. ME4JC475HB7004160 & ENGINE NO.JC47E2036642 ON 12.08.2011 ON THE EVE OF RAKSHA BANDHAN (AUSPICIOUS INDIAN FESTIVAL symbolizing the relationship of brothers and sisters) FROM YOUR DEALER (UDAY HONDA) HAVING SHOWROOM AT 31 ADHCHINI, SRI AURBINDO MARG NEW DELHI.

THE BIKE WAS BOUGHT BY ME ON THE AUSPICIOUS EVE OF RAKSHA BANDHAN THAT THE BIKE WILL BRING HAPPINESS, PROSPERITY, GOODLUCK & HELP ME IN EXCELLING IN MY SMALL BUINESS.

FROM THE DAY ONE THERE WAS AN UNUSUAL SOUND FROM THE ENGINE OF THE BIKE. I CONTACTED THE WORKSHOP O[censored]DAY HONDA AT F-344 LADO SARAI N.D.30 MACHENIC THERE TOLD ME THAT IT IS A REGULAR NOISE WHICH WOULD GO AWAY WITH THE ENGINE RUNNINGIN TIME. THE NOISE PERSISTED FOR DAYS TO COME. AT THE TIME OF 1ST SERVICE ON 22.09.2011 THE BIKE WAS GIVEN FOR SERVICE TO UDAY HONDA'S WORKSHOP AT LADO SARAI. THE NOISE WAS NOTED DOWN BY THE MACHENIC IN THE JOB CARD (COPY OF THE LEAF OF THE JOB CARD ATTACHED). I WAS PROMISED THE DELIVERY IN THE EVENING AT 5:00 P.M. IN THE EVENING THEY SHOWED ME THE CLUTCH PLATE OF THE BIKE WITH PART ENGINE OPENED & TOLD ME THAT THE BIKE WOULD BE EXAMINED BY ANOTHER SENIOR ENGINEER OF HONDA"S, SH. UMESH KATHURIA, AREA MANAGER & PROMISED ME DELIVERY ON THE 26.09.2011.

ON 26.09.2011 THE ENGINEER FROM HONDA COMPANY DID NOT COME UP, STAFF PROMISED ME THE DELIVERY ON 28.09.2011. ON 28.09.2011 THE ENGINEER (AREA MANGER) DID NOT TURN UP. I WAS GIVEN THE PHONE NO.OF HIS, I SPOKE TO
HIM. HE TOLD ME THAT HE DOESNT HAVE TIME & WILL COME AFTER 15 DAYS. WE HAD
AN ARGUEMENT BUT IN VEIN. THEN THE ENGINEERS AT THE UDAY HONDA, LADO SARAI TOLD ME THAT THEY WILL HAVE TO OPEN SOME PART OF ENGINE TO CHECK & FIX THE PROBLEM, I AGREED. WHEN I WENT TO WORKSHOP AFTER TWO HOUR'S TO MY SURPRISE WHOLE OF THE ENGINE WAS DISMANTLED FROM THE BIKE & OPEN INTO PIECES. AN ENGINEER TOLD TO ME THAT THERE WAS SOME PROBLEM WITH THE PISTON & THEY ARE FIXING IT. AS A COMMONER & FAITHFULL CUSTOMER OF HONDA I AGREED. I WAS CALLED THE NEXT DAY. NEXT DAY I WENT AGAIN TO TAKE THE DELIVERY. WHEN THE BIKE WAS STARTED THE NOISE WAS STILL THERE. THE STAFF/ENGINEERS AT UDAY HONDA TOLD ME THAT THEY WILL CALL THE SR.ENGINEER SH. UMESH KATHURIA (AREA MANAGER) THE NEXT DAY. HE WILL SEE THE BIKE AND DIGNOSIS THE PROBLEM.

NEXT DAY i.e. 30.09.2011 SH. UMESH KATHURIA VISITED THE WORKSHOP & INSPECTED THE VEHICLE ON HIS ADVICE THE OF THE BIKE WAS AGAIN DISMANTLED & OPENED INTO PIECES (PHOTGRAPHS ATTACHED). THIS TIME THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY WILL CHANGE THE CRANK & WILL GIVE DELIVERY IN THE EVENING 4:00 P.M. AT 6.00 P.M.THEY CALLED ME UP AND TOLD ME THAT I WILL GET THE BIKE ON NEXT DAY.
AS ON DATE THE BIKE IS STILL AT THE WORKSHOP. OUT OF ANGER AND DISGUISE I HAVE REFUSED TO TAKE THE DELIVERY.

DEAR SIR / MADAM HONDA IS A BRAND WORLD KNOWS FOR ITS QUALITY AND CUSTOUMER SERVICE. THE ABOVE STORY OF MINE WHICH I JUST NARRATED TO YOU, NOW WHERE REFLECTS THIS IMAGE OF YOUR'S. I BROUGHT THE WITH GREAT ENTHUSIASIM & ZEAL TO OWN A WORLD CLASS BRAND. BUT AT THIS POINT I AM SORRY TO INFORM YOU THAT ALL MY DREAMS HAVE BEEN SHATTERED.
MY REQUEST TO YOU IS AS UNDER;-

• I BOUGHT THE BIKE WITH HARD EARNED MONEY WITH A DREAM TO ENJOYTHE QUALITY HONDA IS KNOWN FOR THE WORLD OVER
• THE ABOVE STORY NARRATES MY SITUATION AND HELPLESSNESS.
• NO BIKE IN THE WORLD DESERVES ITS ENGINE OPENED UP WITH IN 40 DAYS OF PURCHASE



• AS A BIKE LOVER I WOULD NEVER APPRECIATE THE TREATMENT WHICH MY NEW HONDA BIKE IS GETTTING.
• THERE IS SOME SERIOUS MANUFACTURING DEFECT.
• KINDLY PUT YOURSELF INTO MY PLACE & IMAGINE.

KINDLY EITHER REPLACE MY BIKE WITH NEW BIKE OR REFUND MY MONEY.

AFTER GOING THROUGH MY SUBMISSIONS I HOPE THAT YOU HAVE UNDERSTOOD MY PROBLEM & SITUATION. HONDA IS A BRAND OF INTERNATIONAL REPUTE & EPISODES LIKE THIS WILL BRING BAD NAME TO YOU NOT ONLY IN INDIA BUT WORLD OVER.

HONDA THE POWER OF DREAMS GIVES ITS OWNERS THROUGH ITS BRILLIANT PRODUCTS THE POWER TO DREAM HIGH & EVENTUALLY HELP THEM TO ACHIEVE HIGH. I DREAMT HIGH WITH HONDA BUT WITH DEEP SORROW & REGREAT. I INFORM YOU THAT MY DREAMS HAVE BEEN SHATTERED BY THE EXPERIENCE WHICH I HAVE RECEIVED AFTER BUYING A HONDA BIKE.

I WANT TO FLY HIGH AGAIN WITH THE WINGS OF HONDA ON MY BACK & NOT LIE DOWN WITH DEEP SORROW & PAIN AS I AM NOW.

KINDLY REPLACE MY BIKE OR REFUND ME MY HARD EARNED MONEY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, AS I AM FACING HUGE TROUBLE WITHOUT A MODE OF CONVEYANCE.

IT IS A REQUEST LETTER. I DONT WANT TO ADOPT LEGAL METHODS BUT I WILL NO HESITATE IF THE SITIUATION WARRANTS.
