Dear Sir
This is Dave here. An IT Consultant and US Accent trainer here in Chennai, India. I live in Maduvinkarai, Guindy. Every day I need to take the road via race course road to reach mount road, near Spic.
I will use that route atleast 4 or 5 times a day to drop my child to school and come back home for lunch and go back to my office.
I find 90% of the vehicles(Mostly 2 wheelers and auto rickshaws) coming over the Guindy bridge from Kathipara takes the U-turn near Spic(Which is a one-way) to reach race course road and behind Guindy railway station.
There is a U-turn near Chellamal Women's College. But most of the small vehicles doesn't use that U-turn to reach race Course road .
I being a consumer of this route and an Indian citizen strongly condemn this act by the fellow road users and I even left few words with the seargent standing near Alexander Square on Sardar Patel Road, Guindy.
I request whomsoever concerned to take immediate action to appoint a traffic police permanently near the SPIC office and see that the vehicles are diverted to take the U-turn near Chellamal College and not immediately when they get down the Guindy bridge from TVK Industrial Estate or from Kathipara Junction.
I write this request letter mainly because I was hit by an Automan yesterday and also he used bad words on me when I ask him why he came in the wrong direction. This is not the 1st time Sir, I was even got hurt 2 months before by a motorist who came in the same no entry(Opposite direction)dashing me and he was not bothered to see what happened to me after he hit me.
So please take immediate steps to appoint a traffic constable immediately sir.
Thanking You,
Yours Truely
