Hi,
I was a defulter on the SCB bank a few months back and I paid the entire amount based on the email I got from the collection officer.
Denis Henry.His email was telling me that this the final amount which I will be paying.That was on May 16.(refer the email 1 below)
But after 7 months I got another email (refer email 2) asking for another outstanding amount of 6000.
Bottom line they should have updated my reocrds that the final settlment is done and no more dues pending.
That didnt happen now the new email which I got claiming they are from the Bank and the previous email which I got was from the collecting agency.
If I pay the amount again what's the gurantee that I will not be receving the email again after 6 months from now.
Its raise few questions in my mind.Are these agnecies are doing fraud collecting amount from all the defulters and not updating it properly.?
Are these guys are actully employees of the Standard Charted Bank.?Or is it an which collect the amount on there behalf.?
