[Resolved]  Delhi Jal Board — dirty and smelly water

Dear Sir/Mam, I would like to bring in to your notice that I am a permanent resident of Delhi and never seen such a pathetic situation of water supply since my childhood. From past few months, we are getting very dirty and smelly water in our inhouse water taps. we are getting Sewer water, we can not use this water for any purpose neither for washrooms... And at the end, no one would be accountable, we have to pay heavy bills for water...AAP says they have reduce the charges of water...what's the benefit of reducing charges if we are not getting clean water... Modi ji is running swach bharat abhiyan and we are getting dirty water in our houses...these political parties are good for nothing...situation of delhi is getting worsen... I would request you highlight this issue on priority to delhi jal board...being citizen of Delhi it's our right to get the clean water...obviously we are paying huge amount of bills to the government...kindly notify delhi jal board about this... Dear Sir,

This is to bring your kind attention on the dirty water supply in our area from last one week, Water is in black color and smelling like, the water is passing through SEWER.

Water is not drinkable and even not keepable because is smelles like pee in the entire home. Our life is going to become hell.

Its a humble request to repair the pipe line before some one get suffer from waterpoisening due to this dirty water.

I am one of the resident of humayun pur safdar jung enclave new delhi 110029. Sir our area is suffering from highly dirty and smelly water from last one weeks which is neither suitable for drinking purposes nor for washing/cleaning purposes it seems its coming directly coming from SEWAGE LINE. Please help us in this matter since it becoming a serious issue. Yesterday (1/7/09) Jal board employees visited that area and confirmed its smelly and mixture of sewage water, thereafter no action is done.
We hope that our government will take some strict action in this matter so that we can drink pour water like anyone can drink.

I am resident of 44, East Guru Angad Nagar, Lane No. 3. For the past many days, we are getting smelly and dirty water. Other residents in the building who are getting water from Lane No. 3 are facing similar problems. Due to impure water, twice we got water borne diseases infection. I am worried, others may also be getting infection. Could you please arrange to get the water supply line checked and take necessary action to ensure good water supply for the residents of the area urgently.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a resident of H-3 block, Vikas Puri .The drinking water supply from past few days has been very dirty and smelly. As a result, it cannot be used for any purposes like drinking, washing and cleaning.
It is not only harmful but injurious for our healths as well. Please look into this matter and I hope an immediate action towards correction will be taken by the concerned authorities.

I reside in RA-53, Inderpuri New Delhi-110012.Since 15 Oct., 2010, I am getting
smelly and very dirty water.It also contained red colour live moving worms.Our neighbour at RA-51, INDERPURI also had similar nature of the problem.We do not have any other source of water supply.Even we do not have any bore -hole for takin the ground water.For the last 2 days we are unable to optain adequate supply of water from other sorces.Our situation is very precarious, which you can imagne.This is not only the first time that we are facing the problem.It appears that the sewer-line is causing the problem because of its close proximity.We shal, therefore, request you to kindly take IMMEDIATE-STEPS to :1)arrange adequate supply of drinking water until the problem mentioned above is solved.

Kindly be informed that there is an acute problem of water in the area of vinoba puri (lajpat nagar 2) and that the residents of house number 111 are getting dirty and smelly water for last few days.This water is unfit for cleaning and washing purposes, leave alone consumption.
An immediate and strict action must be taken in this regard lest it should lead to water borne diseases in no time.
The concerned authoritites are required to visit the site and do the needful as soon as possible.
