[Resolved]  Dish TV — Defective remote and dealers overcharging for new remote

I have purchased Dish TV connection in May 2009. Within 3 months the remote control stopped fucntioning. The Dish TV cusotmer care bluntly says that the remote is not covered in warranty and I should purchse a new remote which is available with any dealer for Rs 113. The dealers charge Rs 300/- for new remote and on complainig about it to Dish TV, they pay not heed.

I WOULD STRONGLY SUGGEST ALL TO AVOID DISH TV. IT HAS WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE.

It might be the case with you, I have never faced any such problem with Dishtv customer care.

Further if you feel dealer has charged you more for the remote thn you can write to dishtv customer care for quick resolution of your complaint along with your complate details like VC No, address and contact number.
