DishTV — Complaint for miserable service and request for membership cancellation (VCNO: [protected]) | |||
The quality of service in dish has taken a nose drive. or the last 3 weeks I have been calling up their service line requesting them to send me a technician who can fix my dish antenna. Below is the sequence of events in chronological order 1. For the first two call, we were told that the service technician will arrive in 1-2 days but nobody turned up. Complaint numbers 55038483 , 55144188 & 55475660 2. In both the cases, I got SMS from DishTV specifying the name of the technician who will arrive plus the local number to call in case of any issues. The number is[protected]. When I called that number, they specified that they don’t provide service to my locality (Salt Lake) but they provided another number[protected]. I tried this number numerous times but nobody picked up. Subsequently I got SMS that said my complained registered has been addressed and now marked closed in the system. 3. When I again call up, to register a new complaint, they service line refused to give me the complaint number over the phone saying it will reach me via SMS. That never happened. I also tried the number given in on DishTV website for Eastern India:[protected] and got the message that incoming facility to this number has been discontinued. 4. I called up again & spoke to service personnel “Sikha Sharma”, ID 147 whose supervisor is Mr. Piyush but she apparently doesn’t know his supervisor's employee id since she is a trainee. She mentioned that she has marked by new complaint as high priority and the same will be attended to within 24 hrs but now more than 3 days have passed and no technician turned up. Also she put in on hold numerous times during the conversation and finally when I asked for the complaint number she put me on hold for a prolonged period of time after which the call got disconnected. Next day I got a phone from a technician who said that my complaint has reached them and but they are not sure if they will be able to attend. They are trying to see if some other group can help me etc. After that I heard back nothing. The Complaint number finally reached me via sms 55475660 after 4 more days 5. The last time that I called up, I spoke to service personnel Babita who said that my last complaint number[protected] had already been closed & that she was reopening it. She promised that someone from DISHTV would call me in 2 hours time & someone would definitely visit me in the next 24 hours. I never heard back anything from DISHTV It is obvious Dish is not interested to provide service to its subscriber or I don’t know what the issue is. Anyway, I have decided to shift to a different DTH provider since there is no dearth of the same in the market and also will pass on this pathetic experience I had with Dish to all everybody to who my feedback matters. I want to terminate my membership immediately. Since I have made payment till July, I want the advance payment that I have made be returned to me. Its a valid thing you should expect from DishTV as they are not concerned about the customer's complaints/wish. What they know is "Make much money out of this and provide poor service" People will be in a state CAN'T STAY or CAN'T LEAVE !!!
