Dear Sir,
I am Anil kumar singh, Sr. Manager - Technoflow HVAC Industries Pvt. Ltd. 224, LIVING STYLE MALL, JASOLA, NEW DELHI-25. I applied for a new landline cum broadband connection from a subsidiary of MTNL - DISTANCE TELECOM on 8th April, 2010. I gave Rs500 to their concerned agent(Mr.Mohit) who visited my office on 8th April, 2010. He told me that the Installation of broadband services will complete within 3-4 days. Since then there has been no response and whenever I call them i get an reply in a very casual manner that it will be installed by today. I am calling everyday in concern office from 12th April 2010 & everyday they replying that ''it will be installed by today'' . Today its 21th April, 2010 and still they say that it will be installed. Today they given the contact no of Mr. Javed ([protected]). He picked phone one time & without listining my problem cut the phone. After that i am trying whole day his number , but either he is not picking the phone or cutting down. Customer care people are casual and it seems like they do not care at all. I already told below number peoples that its MNC & its very urgent. If this type of behave will continue. no customer will faith on you services. So please look into the matter & do the needful on urgent basis. Their contact nos. are[protected] and[protected].

I am Ankit Tirkey, resident of Old Rajinder Nagar. I applied for a new landline cum broadband connection from a subsidiary of MTNL - DISTANCE TELECOM on 6th April, 2010. I gave Rs500 to their concerned agent who visited my home for paperwork on 6th April, 2010. Since then there has been no response and whenever I call them i get an reply in a very casual manner that it will be installed in 7days. Today its 15th April, 2010 and still they say that it will be installed. Customer care people are casual and it seems like they do not care at all. I am not sure that if it is a real company or not. Please see to it. Their contact nos. are[protected] and[protected].

Its April 17th still they have not installed any broadband and they say that it will be installed on monday now. I am really frustrated with this company.
Still its 21st and they have not installed anything yet. I asked for a refund and they said come to their office on saturday. I am going to get my refund and never use sarkari services from now on. Its good that they are privatising PSUs and announcing IPOs and FPOs. :)

It is truly disturbing how MTNL and their partners work together, be it Distance Telecom or any other.

I got a call from Distance Telecom regarding a new internet connection with a landline. And of course I liked it and applied for 599 Combo Plan. Mr. Rajesh ([protected]) came to my house to collect the cash booking amount of Rs.500. My receipt number is 5928, dated 30th March 2010.

On 15th April 2010, I was told that the connection got delayed because of wrong mobile number which they had; it was [protected] instead of [protected]. It was the miscommunication in between the employees of Distance Telecom and I (the customer) was nowhere in the middle. But they said I would get the connection on 16th April, the next day. But nothing happened and again it got delayed. Employees in Distance Telecom are enjoying Gazette holidays, where as I know when the gazette holiday as is my father is in Government Service as well.

I had talked to Javed, Gagan Kumar Handa ([protected]), and Preeti Mathur in Distance Telecom[protected] many times, but no response. Today I called Mr. Rajesh (who came to collect cash) to refund the amount but he said I would have to go to Office.

Preeti Mathur did not let me speak to any senior than her, when I asked to speak to a senior she said they have gone for bookings. Preeti Mathur told me that I should have got landline connection on 7th April 2010, and OV or OB number is 3052. And today is 19th. And she also asked me to call Mr. Ramlal ([protected]) and give him my Consumer Account Number, [protected]. Before I could say anything to Mr. Ramlal he switched off his mobile phone.

I thought you guys had the best plans and services, but did you forget that to run any company requires the best customer service? I think you forgot this!

I just want MTNL to fix Distance Telecom so they should not treat their customers like they are treating me. You have lost 1 customer in this way, which might continue if you don’t improve customer service in future.

This would be my humble request for all Distance Telecom and MTNL executives to process my request to refund the amount which I have given to book an internet connection.

I created this topic and so I would like to inform you that atleast DISTANCE TELECOM is not a fraudent company. My internet connection has been installed. They took 15 days to install my phone and another 5 for broadband. broadband seems to working fine and I can check my broadband plan and calls on my internet id. Broadband is working as it is supposed to work at 512kbps. So, If you are looking for an internet connection then go to your nearest MTNL SANCHAR HUT by yourself or call Airtel. They are good and efficient. My flatmate got Airtel - Applied on friday, next monday voila fone and broadband installed. Airtel is the same as I and he are paying 675 for wifi modems n broadband and 100calls free but i get 512kbps all the time, he on the other hand get 512kbps for the first 5gbs then 256kbps. But airtel is stable and without any problems whereas i cannot say the same about mtnl. So, choice is urs go for broadband.
