I ordered two medium pizzas from dominos on June 17, 2012 and it was suppose to be a home delivery. Now, the dominos pizzas promises that if the pizza is not delivered in thirty minutes, the customer would get it for free. My pizzas was delivered FIFTEEN MINUTES late, i.e, he took forty five minutes. I paid the the delivery boy but when I went to keep the pizza inside I realized that he was extremelt late and the pizzas were cold too. I rushed to the door but he had left so I called the dominos manager, (patna) to inform about this. Someone took the call and after listening to the problem, he very rudely disconnected the phone instead of connecting the call to the manager.
When somehow i reached the manager, Mr Sanjay Thakur, he said that my locality does not cover the offer of free pizza on late delivery so it was ok if the pizza was delivered late. He said its a rule in Patna for few of its localities. Whereas my information goes, Dominos mentions free pizza for late delivery and never the customers have been informed about the rule which Mr Thakur has mentioned. Secondly, they could have informed about this self created rule when I gave them my address. Few weeks back same thing had happened with my sister but at that time he had given the pizza free but after much argument.. Now, if dominos has this rule of not giving free pizza on late delivery in certain locations in patna, then how come my sister got the refund? Does the rule keep changing? Dominos is famous for its offer of free pizza if it does not reach in thirty minutes and never and nowhere dominos has mentioned that this offer is invalid for few locations. Then how come Exhibition Road Patna Dominos outlet has come up with this rule without the company's notice?
As customers we go by the advertisement and the info provided by the company in various media and if we do not get the same as promised, it is mere cheating on the company's part. Please kindly look into this matter as it is happenning repeatedly and being a small town dominos employs are trying to misbehave and fool the customers which is a serious issue. I do expect certain level of discipline and honesty from such a big company.
