[Resolved]  East Coast Railways, Indian Railways — non availability of reservation in internet as well as reservation counter at Stations

Visakhapatnam,
Date :[protected]

M.S.Samba Siva Rao,

Sir,
When we check the reservation status in Indian Railways especially in South Eastern Railways it is astonishing to statate that the accommodation in internet as well as in railway station counter will not be available. However if any one approach the broker stationed at Visahapatnam the accommodation will be available by charging extra amount. If any one approaches the T.T.E of the concerned train he will provide the berth in railways by charging huge amount. In this process the TTEs are becoming very rich at the cost of General Public by virtue of their position in Railways. How is it possible. There will be nexus between Local Railway Authorities and Local Brokers who are enriched at the cost of general public and with the employee status in India Railways. Why the government is keeping mum despite knowing the facts published in dail news papers. No person in Indian Railways take acton against the culprits. How long this trend continues. Why the Government mechanism failed in controlling black marketing the railway tickets. The middle men are enriched at the cost of general public. I request the railway authorities to take necessary action to arrest and control the mischiev played by the middle men(brokers as well as TTEs)
Thanking you,
Yours sincerely,
M.S.Samba Siva Rao

TDR - KGP 024599 Date-26/8/07 Time--23.30 hrs
Journey Ticket/PNR No:[protected]
Train No:8477
Date of Journey - 26/8/07

Till today the refund has not been received inspite of all attempts.
Leave aside the agonies of going through the process, does some one in the Railways
care for this?
Will some responsible authority please tell why the Railways should not compensate for this?

Dear Sir/Madam
I had purchased an e-Ticket PNR No.[protected], train No. 2444/ Bhubaneshwar Rajdhani
Date of Journery : 19.06.08
From KGP to BBS in 3A
The above train route was diverted from KGP to BBS due to heavy rain at Kharagpur. Subsequently I had sent mail to [protected]@IRCTC.CO.IN on 19.06.08 fro cancelation of above tkts & request for refund thru' email dt 20.06.08 due to the train did not touch my boarding station.

IRCTC, Delhi had sent a reminder letter dt 21.11.08 to the CCM/Eastern Zone/Bhubaneshwar with a copy to me where he had mentioned about my request thru email about my cancellation of the e-ticket and subsequently for the refund.

Since then i have not heard from CCM, East Coast Railway, Bhubaneshwar nor recd my refund. It ia already seven months lapsed. you are requested kindly look into the matter and guide me to whom I should contact thru' mail or phone? kindly confirm.

Sir,
I have observed that train travelling from puri to keonjhar has been neglected like anything.Since when the train has started its initial journey no cleanship has been done thereafter. The internal condition is in pathetic state. So many peoples are travelling in that train.Even passenger strengths have been increased. So my request to you that please look into the matter.Because it is giving very bad name to railways. There are certain other trains also which are originating from puri has been also neglected regarding cleanship concerned.

Thanking you.

Indian Railways — Non availability of internet reservation (tickets)

Sir,
I tried to book an eticket on 6th, 7th, 8th. 9th and 10th Nov. 2010 continuously under 'tatkal quota' for my son from Akola to Daund. But the website 'irctc' was not at all available (service unavailable) from 8.00 to about 8.20 a.m. Thereafter, the website (irctc) was made available when all the seats/births were booked. It creats a doubt in the minds of public that there may be a conspiracy between booking agents and railway authorities. This needs an enquiry and suitable action to avoid harrassement and mental agony to the public. Thanks
With kind regards,

Indian Railways — Non availability of basic necessities

My Father is travelling from Bandra to Jaipur via Train No 2216 / DET Garibrath. His bogy no is G 12 and berth no is 0021 & 0022. It is a AC train but the attendant of the bogy is not providing him with blankets, bedsheets and pillows. He is telling that there are no bedheets or blankets available. My Father is an asthamatic patient and cold temperatures dont suit him. I request you to please look into the matter as these facilities are to be provided by the railways. If he faces any health problems because of non availability of these basic necessities, then the same should be reimbursed by the Railways.

Indian Railways — railways web unavailability

Dear Sir/Madam

Ticket booking service via ircrc.co.in always hangs when the Tatkal window opens @ 8 AM. The service remains the same for next 1-1.5 hours till all the tatkal tickets get exhausted.

This is really disappointed to understand that if IRCTC does not have good servers to support the customer base then WHY are they in business ???

Also, how can an agent book the same ticket while a webuser can't ??? What is the conpiracy here???

Please take action towards brokers/agents including railways employee frauds
