[Resolved] Electrolux Ff Refrigerator From Lotus Bhopal — Defective piece-bottom damage | |||
Bill No 60R902791 dt 12082009. Technician visited after delivery, put wooden slot below front right hand leg and told us fris has tobe kept tilted back to work p roperly. In feb 2011, cooling problem arised. After much persuation, service centre engr visited on 16032011, collected service charges Rs.300/-, and told sensor costing Rs.2200/- has tobe changed, and that this frij is a defective piece- its bottum is damaged. I presented case to Lotus and asked for free replacement. Lotus Branch Mgr Shri Bhupesh Tragi took special interest and finally on 30th May service centra engr visited changed Defrost Heater + PCB assembly + Sensor +Door switch item and charged Rs 500/-. Now frij is working alright. But since defective piece was given (perhaps unkhowing by Lotus since service centra engr who visited in 2009 did not point out to us about the defect - bottum damaged), it should be replaced free of charge.though warranti period of 1 year is over.
