Hi The details of my photon connections are: Plan : Freedom plan Activation date: 28th July 2009 First Bill date 06th Aug 2009(Bill period 28th July to 2nd Aug - 5 days) Invoice number[protected] Account number[protected] Facts of case: The first billed amount was 6584.98/- for Photon Plus. This was for a period of 5 days and for the usage of approx 30-35 hours approx. Complaint: We activated the internet on 28th July under the existing relationship of my cousin Hemang. As per the plan the monthly billing should not exceed 1250/-for 15 GB for first 2 months. The bill was Rs 6584.98/-approx. Can by any means an internet bill be 6584/- for 5 days?. Also when we went to inquire about it in tata gallery the people there had no proper knowlege of why such billing . They just gave us the itemised bill in which we came to know that the billing was just as per the whims and fancies of TATA Photon. Eg for 18 min usage the charges are 2154/-. Also The speed is very slow for which we have made complaint and the technician visited us but he also did not help atall I have taken subscription for business use and we generally use sites such as Google and just dail. There are no movie or other downloads from internet. I have lost business for approx 12 lacs because of this. All my competitors are taking away my clients due to lack of services from our part.This is all because of Tata photon Was this information helpful? | |

hey i signed up with tata photon plus.. its been three months.. my plan is 1100rs / month 10gb bandwidth...my second bill is with 5 gb as per the bill .. but my actuall usage is only 3 gb.. i called and complinte almost 100times.. but no go. i left it becos anyway i had 10gb usage.. but the last month bill gave me a heart atack in which i already expected.. becos form the day one in there usage meter shows me incorrect reading.. i called them many timess. i have send screen shots.. i spoke with many people.. all i got is lets waits got bill to check .. now i got it.. its total of 13 gb usage it shows and i got a bill for 2900rs .. but i know 1000% i havent used much..i am still waiting for the answer.. this is my major issue as of now.. but they keep changeing billing date.. due date in the past three months bill.. i am so tired and frustrated.. the customer service is the crap and a big piece of i have ever seen n called...omg i cant beleive ta i cant do anything abt it ...do anyone have same problem.. lets escalate...lets c when tat guys gonna change n do things rite..

I got my connection in March and have had problems with billing every single month. The first month was a nightmare. They didn't inform me of the date the billing cycle would start and I got a bill of Rs.12, 000. I got a very small discount on the bill and I continued using the service because I'd already spent Rs. 3, 600 on the modem, for which I believe one doesn't get a refund. There is absolutely no customer service and the call center people probably haven't graduated from kindergarten so there's no point talking to them. It's totally pathetic and seems to be a total con job, but I need a decent speed for my work and already spent so much that I grudgingly continue with the service. It's a real shame that one has to accept this daylight robbery.
I completely agree with you.I think Tata Photon + has the worst service.They just fool people.I have started using it since one month and my plan is [protected]@650 plan where in i get 2GB download free.I have got a bill of Rs.924 for 20days.My usage would be hardly 30hrs in these 20days.Moreover i have not downloaded anything except for a ppt.You have to be a millionare to use Tata photon + connection.Prices are really really high
