[Resolved]  BSNL Broadband — Frequent disconnection of broadband connection

I am having Business 700 broadbanf plan on my landline telephone number [protected]. This service is provided in my residence 8-2-309/7/1, Road No.14, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad-500037. My broadband connection gets disconnected very frequently and the error message what I get is "DNS Server Error". I feel the problem is with either the Modem installed in my premise or the settings. Whenever broadband disconnects, I reboot the Modem and I am able to establish the connection immediately. Like this, every day, I have to reboot the Moden not less than 10 to 15 times. This is causing lot of problems as the broadband gets disconnected while making payment on internet and I am unable to find out whether the payment is made or not. Similarely, whenever I download some files, at the end, the broad band disconnects and I have to restart the downloading once again from the beginning causing loss of time and money. I request Hyderabad BSNL Authorities to look in to the matter and provide solution so that I get uninterrupted broadband service.

Whenever broadband disconnects, I reboot the Modem and I am able to establish the connection immediately. Like this, every day, I have to reboot the Moden not less than 10 to 15 times. I request Hyderabad BSNL Authorities to look in to the matter and provide solution so that I get uninterrupted broadband service.
This is a complaint from the number[protected].I (Vasundhara) have opted for the 750 PLUS offer for the BROADBAND Connection on 4th of January, 2009.I am unable to connect to the internet during the evening hours from 6 P.M. to 6 A.M. Complaint is being given by me daily to the number [protected].On calling to this number the CSR(Customer Service Representative)are telling that the information regarding this number is not available in their DATABASE. If that is the case then how am I able to access internet during the day time by providing correct username and password?

Today I received the call from Customer Care regarding this problem. The people are so careless as when the complaint was regarding BROADBAND they have registered complaint for PHONE connection which is meaningless. Suggestions were given by CSRs to get adjusted during the evening hours instead of solving the problem.
WE ARE VERY MUCH DISSATISFIED WITH YOUR SERVICES AND THERE WILL BE NO OPTION TO GO FOR PRIVATE CONNECTIONS.
I hope the problem will be solved in the next 24 hours or at the earliest.
I too am facing the same issue where the connection gets disconnected. When I tried logging a complaint, BSNL sent a line man rather than a IT technician to resolve the issue. They checked the phone, said it is ringing, you can make calls, so everything is ok. They asked to log a complaint with 12678 if I face any more difficulty. That was the first number I had called to log a complaint but they said they dont have my name in their records. The connection gets disconnected abruptly approximately every 10 mins. Had I known this I would never have opted for BSNL. Can the concerned authorities please take necessary action to resolve this issue majority of BSNL subscribers are facing.

The primary reason for the whole trouble/mess up is the allotment of broadboard lines beyond its capacity. The problems expressed/faced by the above persons are correct, true and complete in all respects. I too had a problem 6 months ago when I was in the 500 Home Plan. Since then, I switched over to the new plan. Now, I am facing this problem occasionally. However, to overcome this, I have to reboot the modem frequently. Further, I have to run diagonostic test also.

i am also facing the same problem... initially i's thinking that i hav a s/w problems...but now it seems that its their fault... i really wanna get rid of this...
I too facing the same problem as many of them where the BB connection gets disconnected very frequently. When I tried logging a complaint, BSNL sent a line man rather than a IT technician to resolve the issue. They checked the phone line & tried to convience me that everything is ok, no such problem occur from their side`.Despite of giving several reminders no action has yet been taken, now I have become fed up of this connection.I kindly request the concerning authorities to look into the matter & do the needful
BSNL(Bull Sh*** Nigam Ltd.) is an organization(?) that I am subscriber of (Home 1350 UL Plan). Let's concentrate on UL. How many ULs I got with this connection. 1) UnLimited Tension i[censored] ve something official deadline based work to do. 2) UnLimited loss of face in the office. 3) UnLimited numbers of calls to KashtMar Kare (customer care) with onle one response- Koramangala server down. 4) UnLimited number of BSNL cell no of those to contact to get my problem fixed because customer care is careless itself !!! Agony doesn't end here. In my apartment one day one BSNL type man came, rang the doorbell and asked us whether we lodged any complaints for broadband issues. I at once said WOOOOOOOW !!! I called my wife and told GOD himself has come !!! I told him very politely, although it was very tough, that we tried lodging complaint but we got some cell numbers perhaps one of them sent you. He at once realized that we did not lodge any complaints and gave me, Guess What !!!, another bsnl cell no. And then he told he has come for someone's else's complaint and he can only solve our problems if ***** whatever u cud understand I didn't have patience to hear that If clause. Imagine my plight after satisfactorily enjoying 2MbPS Airtel BB for 1.5 yrs, how i must be feeling. Connection never lasts for more than 30 mins. I lose my VPN and can't work from home. Unlike others I've no plans to appeal to so called authorities otherwise I will get guess what yet another contact number. With heavy haert I got married, changed my house and with even heavier heart I had gone for BSNL but now the time has come to feel light and say Bye Bye to all this. And one more thing... Deepika Padukone(Brand JhAmbassador) never came even in my dreams to enquire about my connection.
if your broadband gets disconnected
1) with stable DSL LINK LED then your system could have effected with virus..u can confirm this by connecting to another laptop or so...
2) with stable LINK LED, your LAN drivers might have corrupted reload them or might have limited or no connectivity yellow mark..then go to your LAN properties and then tcp/ip protocol properties ..change to manual mode...give ip adress 192.168.1.4 click on subnet mask than give default gate way 192.168.1.1 then ok ..close...
3) with DSL LINK BLINKING frequently...it can be line problem or splitter problem...connect line to modem bypassing splitter and check..or check your phone if you could observe any noise in your receiver..if so coplaint through 198 booking repeatedly till linemens come and solve...

or contact your junior telecom officer concernd for reprogramming your modem...
problem occuring during downloads since 7 days... no downloads since last 7 days...
my internet is having the problem while im downloading any file from internet... THIS WEBSITE IS NOT FOUND is the message what i get every time what i get when i start download any thing... some one from your office rang me today n told that my problem is rectified. but even though im facing the same error... please solve my problem as soon as possible...
Dear friends in this third world country do not hope better things.Everything will be third class.But dont blame those people.Govt. means ours, not theirs and dont let them to ruin BSNL.Complain at RIA(right to information act)to PIO(public information officer)at BSNL offices.I complain every month, it is time pass atleast they have to work on papars.Really don't hesitate, they are not serious we are also not serious...Good luck
