[Resolved]  Gilma chimney — No service/support available.

I had purchased a Gilma chimney (stylo model) in Dec 2007. From September 15th onwards i faced a problem with the speed switch and contacted Gilma service center for replacement of the same. In the first place, i found that they are very unreachable. And from the last 5 weeks, I am being told that the the parts are out-of-stock. I have made atleast 1000 calls and wasted a lot of time talking to them. This has caused me a lot of incovenience. Still, they continue to say that it is out-of-stock.

I found from reviews on internet that they have been known to just sell products without properly offering support/service.

It would be valuable if something could be done regarding this...

Yes, Gilma support and service is just horrible. Even I made so many calls but no reponse at all. I am still trying to reach their support/service manager but not available.
If any body knows how to report this to the right people, let me know.
its 3 year we bougt GILMA chemny, we booked it in cantirava studium with 1000 rupee and after that we face every day cal &cal from showroom for taking that chemney even phone call at 10 pm with very rude speaking type that u have to take it very soon .that time our flat was not ready because of painting but with them forc we have to buy that 17000 +1000 booking, after our flat become ready nobody was coming for fixing .after one mount it fixed but light was not there .they promiss to bring light and now its 3th year from that time and styl no light, any time we caling there they just lough to us and say we will send it???!!!
I had telephoned to one mr. shankar tohis cell number [protected] (marathahalli branch) two weeks ago who had received the call and collected a sum of Rs.1, 500/- towards fixing of box type pipe fromthe chimney to the exhaust fan. But till today he has not turned up telling some pretext or the other that the mechanis is out of station and he himself is busy with other work and held up some where far away. This is not the reason to attend to thecustomers. Still marathalli branch has to learn lot of things to manage its staff members but i presume concerned head of this branch is not having any control and not working fo the interest of the company.

Please caution him to fix the pipe as promised if not i will got to conumer court for which let him not give room to do so.

Even I have the same problem. I have raised a complaint 10 months back and so far no response. I have been calling them regularly and they say "No Stock". They have registered the complaint again 2 weeks back and still no response.
Worst Support by Gilma. I bought Chimney V2BK at Velachery Showroom (Chennai). The service engineers were very rude and least bothered about the customers. While fixing one of the front glass was broken and from day 1 I am following it up with the Service center (Sri Sai) no one has no clue when the part will arrive and they keep on saying "tomorrow"

Highly dissatisfied, I recommend no one to go with Gilma, Chennai Support is really horrible.
I bought Gilma chimney from Ganganagar, the guy was very sweet when he was selling, but later when I wanted to get the chimney installed I tried calling there support and they do not respond. They say we will call and let you know the time. When I informed the person in Ganganagar he said they will come Sir, he suddenly changed is tone. The support is Worst Support by Gilma. Please do not buy any Gilma Product
