AFTER TWO HOURS OF GOOGLE SEARCH, I DECIDED TO USE THESE CHEATS TO BUY TICKETS FOR A FAMILY OF 5 ON A RETURN DOMESTIC FLIGHT. THESE CHEATS LURE YOU WITH A DISCOUNT BUT THEN CHARGE A CONVENIENCE FEE OF RS 290 PER PASSENGER WHICH IS NOT CLEARLY STATED. THEY STATE RS 290 PER BOOKING BUT CHARGE PER PERSON! EVENTUALLY, THE COST OF THE FLIGHT IS MORE THAN ANY OTHER WEBSITE INCLUDING SPICEJET WEBSITE ITSEL[censored] WHEN I RANG THEM, THEY THREATEN THAT IF I CANCEL NOW, I WILL INCUR SIGNIFICANT CANCELLATION CHARGES! AVOID THESE CHEATS AT ANY COST.

It was unfortunate that I did not check this complaint before I made a booking myself today. Total amount was displayed as 25892. So I clicked on "make payment" and made the payment. But I was charged 27342. When I contacted GoIbibo customer care, I was told that I should read terms and conditions where 290 is hidden. As a website charging money from the customer for a service, isn't it their duty to display the total chargeable amount properly before accepting payment? Why is the onus on the customer to find the hidden charges? CHEATS at best.

Also, I see that the complaint by Gupta was intimated to GoIbibo customer service long back. I don't see that they have taken any action to fix it because I have faced same fate even 3 months after the previous complaint was raised. They are continuing with the scam. Feedbacks are not getting fixed. Will never book with goibibo again and I wont recommend goibibo to anyone because this practice of hiding total charges from the customer is unethical and they can stoop down to any level.
