[Resolved] Great Eastern Appliances Pvt Ltd — providing a defective product in place of new one | |||
A refrigerator whose description is SAMSUNG RT-29 YBUX1 REF/ 285 LTR was bought from the company stated above on 23th may,2010. Since then small problems like loose door,loose ice-tray cited up but being fixed by the technician provided by "Great Eastern Appliances". but lastly their technician detected that the compressor in this newly bought refrigerator is out of order;from then onwards unfortunately and illegally he along with the "Great Eastern Appliances" officials have been pressuring us to let us repair our refrigerator inspite of the fact that the compressor part of refrigerator carries a warranty of 60 months(as per samsung rules and regulations). I want an immediate replacement of this defective refrigerator and put to an end to our further harassment. Was this information helpful? | |||

I, ABHISHEK GHOSH address-HATPUKUR, RAMRAJATALA, HOWRAH-711 112, Ph no [protected], purchased one ONIDA LED T.V. (32 inchs) from GREAT EASTERN APPLIANCES PVT.LTD 290, G.T.Road, Kazipara More, Howrah-711 102, Ph[protected]/85, Fax[protected] on 09/07/2011.At the time of purchase the salesman MADAN convinced me to purchase ONIDA. Now on 04/09/2011 the T.V. became stopped, no picture, no sound.I At once contact MADAN at his mobile no.[protected].He asked me to contact the ONIDA Company and I as per his advice contacted ONIDA at ph. no 3988 9000. They give me a complain no. [protected]. On the next day i.e. 5/9/2011 one of their technician namely TARAK NATH BAG ( Mob no. [protected]) came to my home and after checking the TV he said that the MOTHER BOARD of the TV is out of order. On his report pad I Wrote that I do not want any repair I want replacement of my set as because the set has become out of order within a very short period of only one and half month and I have purchased it for Rs.29990.00(cash memo no. HW/CM/02294/11-12 DT.[protected] which is a big amount to me.On the next day 6/9/2011 I went to the shop and they denied to change the set as also they began to make ill behave with me.They hand over me a phone to some ONIDA official namely SUBASH at ph no.[protected] who said me that they only repair the set by changing the mother board. I did not agree with him and said him that the set will stay defected so I can not accept it.Then he threatened me by saying "You can do whatever you can we shall not change your set" and cut the line. Then in the shop, one hoodlum declared himself as he is the Manager although earlier all others said that manager is absent, and began to threaten me.Under such circumstances I returned home and is complaining for the total incident and also for replacement of my T.V. set. I want an immediate solution.
