[Resolved] Happy Home Group/SILENT VALLEY — Fraud and Scam | |||
Hello, This is a matter of way back in the year 1998 when Happy Home Group,...Headquartered in Bangalore, had setup a SILENT VALLEY project, in Pune. Had taken huges some of money around 3 lakhs for booking a plot of land. the CEO then was MR. MANOHAR REDDY, then it was MR. PENCHALAYA. Has anyone heard of this group.Is there anyone who has been duped. They used to conduct annual function of around 1000 members in RSI at Pune used to hold stage shows with big celebrities ..like Singers Usha Uthup , Sunita Rao performed, one of the pics has Mr. Suresh Kalmadi shaking hands with the CEO No.2. Never heard of this group.for so many years.have remained Silent and gone underground...The money gone....gave complaints to the police nothing happened ...that is how our nation grows to be more corrupt as the years go on..as no one is ready to help...and assist. Hi Shaikh, we too have invested in this silent valley, paid registration upfront around 2001, and then the rest of the money in installments, but now there is no one to answer our questions, office is locked, and we even received another letter asking to pay money for registration...
If there are any other people facing the same scam, lets get together and get our money back.

My husband's hard earned has gone with fraud real estate people who have no one to answer to...they are also not afraid of God's judgement on them..for cheating so many people. At least they should show some kind of return of the money paid to them, in giving plots or returning the money. By hiding and going under ground is not going to solve this huge problem. The huge profit..which they think have made due to cheating people will not make them rich..they are SOPHISTICATED THIEVES AND UTTER DISGRACED PEOPLE...hope all the comments given by the sufferers are read by them so that their conscience, if they have any, will be pricked. They had cheated so many middle class people like us who have invested their hard earned money in this project. I along with 3 other friends invested complete amount of Rs 3 lakhs in this scam. We got some registration paperwork from silent valley. After all these years we went to our allocated plot and therez sumbody else name board, the office is closed too. The Agent Name who duped us was MR. Bobby and after running so many months we didnt have any success in tracking anybody responsible. My other two colleges are also stuck with their money, Im sorry to c so many people like me suffering too. They said they would plant teak or mango trees but silent valley really is a well planned commercial planned sca which reminds me of a phrase " You steal a little and they jail you, you steal alot and they make you the king" Please let me know if anybody gets any positive update on them.

Same here, I have also been cheated, having made full payment. Such people take advantage of our cumbersome legal procedures in which we have little trust, less hope and more discomfort. i am another sufferer in this scam. My plot was registered and the 7/12 was also issued with my name included several other original land owners. I got a letter from the registration office advising that the original stamp duty paid on the declared value of 50, 000 Rs for half acre plot was not correct as we had paid 3 lakhs. I had at that time contacted Happy Home office, which was still running, they said that the remaining 2.5 lakhs was development charge and not required to pay stamp duty on this amount. As i am posted abroad, i rarely visit to the site when i come to India, so i dont know the status of plot. Recently my neighbour from Pune informed that there was a court summons for a case in Pune court, but i could not attend due to my job abroad.
Does anyone know about this court case and why i am part of it?

I had invested when I was in Pune. The collection agent was one Mr Rinesh D'Silva. Registration too was done. But there is no development.
Has anybody visited . What is the state of the plots? We must decide some future course of action.

My father expired long back but he had only this grudge in his heart that his hard earned money had gone and there is no machinery that takes action against these corrupt people. Surprisingly when we visited our plot we found that it was already sold to somebody else and that person claims to be the owner of the said plot. Such a big fruad that takes place in our country and middle class people can be easily fooled thanks to the bigwigs who go hand in hand to loot the common man.
Hope all those involved are caught and our money is returned
