Harassment by HDFC Customer care executive

Hello Sir/Madam,

This is with regard to my credit card # 4346 7810 0224 7575. I have been holding this card for more than 3 years. The repayment towards my card has been very prompt since then; however, due to some medical expenses that I had to incur of the last 2 months January and February 2009, I failed to make the payment on time. I even called HDFC customer care to explain this and the person on the other end acknowledged the same and confirmed that I could make the lump payment for two months by End of March. Today, I received a call from HDFC Customer care again (Deepa) who was utmost rude on call and demanded the payment today itself (06 Mar 2009). I also told her that I would not be able to make the payment today and shall arrange the payment by tomorrow and walk-in-to the branch and make the cash payment of the said amount (Rs.2000). She did not listen and was very harsh to me. I also told her that I would be complaining to RBI if she continues to talk this way and she was least bothered about it. She said " I don't care, you could complain to anyone you wish to" (these were the exact words used by her). I'm totally taken aback by the way these people from the bank treat their customers. I would sincerely appeal to whomsoever to look into this as I'm a BP Patient and such calls really disturb my mental stability. I would not hesitate to blame the bank for any mishap that I face due to rising level in my pressure.

There have been couple of other people too to add to the list. One of them is Anil Anandan from Bangalore branch of HDFC.

Please do something as I strongly feel that this is affecting my mental health. I wish to re-iterate here that most of the call center people from HDFC (collections) are not maintaining the standards when it comes to customer service.

My expereience was to totally different. I am using the HDFC CARD from November 2005, without any due from my side. but I am getting lot of unnecessary torture calls from SANKAR OF BALA ASSOCIATES in GUINDY, CHENNAI 600 032. Finally I approached the customer support manager, he simply told in the same name some other person has to pay some money, instead calling that persone they calling me, because of the same name but the initial is different, the card no. also different, how clever the HDFC PEOPLE. WHAT KNOWLEDGE THEY HAVE. SUPER. MY NAME R. JAI SANKAR CHENNAI MY MOBILE NO.94440 59741

hi sir, this is ravikumar, iam ur customer since longback... i recieved a bill of Rs.7077 for which i not yet used my card even atleast for a single time...iam to pay Rs.750 towards my insurenses...when i talked to customer care, they were telling that the card was used online so pl block my card n clear my problem so that i could be able to pay the bills...pl reply..thank you.

Dear Sir,
I have a recently opened saving A/c cum salery A/c having A/c no:-13741050011413 in which I did not get my welcome kit neither dabit card as yet, one month has gone to wait for the same. I could not get my salery transferred by the company. So I am very disappointed with the service providing by HDFC. I have my A/c in Nehru Place branch in Delhi, I have complaint against the branch many times but they are not giving me any positive response. My humble request to you pls sort out my problem as soon as possible.

This is Mubarak (5176-5210-0248-9732) This is what happenened to me as well today from HDFC people (Name: Lavanya) from nelson Manickam Road, Chennai.

She is giving mental torture like anything for just 1500 Ruppes. If any thing happens to be for the next 1 week and HDFC people will be the responsible.

Dear Sir/ madam
This is to your information that i amgetting a call from your agency no bering 080-42080634 abusing me with bad words saying me as begger and asking me to beg for clearing the payment even though i have explained them my present situation that i have lost my job and in search of my job still they are not listening. Finally i have come to a decission that if these poeple torchure me like this i have no other way rather then commiting suicide and the blame i am putting on HDFC bank people.

I was working in magarpatta branch(HDFC) till 31st january(Resigned date).Emplyo code CV10710 Till Todays date also i have not received my pf amount to me.sir whom i want to ask my pf amount please help me for this matter & solve my problem & help me for also to whom i should contact to hdfc bank.

Dear Sir/Madam

Please help me for taking every year donation in keshavnagar mundwa pune 36 school (vatslaya & Oscar English medium.)I have three childrens, How it possible to me pay every year 3000 to 4000 per head. i have came to know that one of the school management simply telling to the parents that if u dont have to pay the donation then take out ur children from here & see another school were it possible.
please help me for this matter whom i want raise the complaint for keshavnagar childrens educations.

Dear Sir/madam,

Last week my health policy has been done thtrough your call center executive. She was supposed to send me the details of the policy, but last week I got my policy done through "Bajaj Allianz". Sir/madam I am not interested in it. So Kindly cancel my policy earliest.

Today I got a message on mobile that your credit card division has sent me the statement of my card through mail. With min. amount due is 569.42 and total due is 692.32. Please also cancel my this amount because I haven't spent this money through my credit card. If you are charging for policy then I have already said that I am not interested.

This is Sujatha Kumari (5289-4510-0109-6615) This is what happenened to me as well today from HDFC people (Name: Priya, Phone no: 080-43521300) Bangalore.

She is giving mental torture like anything for just 1600 Ruppes Inspiet of making the payment of Rs 8500 on 30-7-2009.Even after telling her that i will make the short payment by next week she is not listening anything and using all sort of bad words and says will send the guys to the house. If any thing happens to me. HDFC people will be the responsible.

HDFC Credit card division services have become totally defunct ; their software is totally bull shit . Since, 1st of August, 2009, I am not able to transact through PayPal using my HDFC Bank Credit card . The Credit card department takes things very lightly and they do nothing ; this is true for all HDFC bank credit card holder . But with other bank, this is working . Shameless people bluffing and harassing for the last 31 days .

In continuation to my letter dt.25.4.2006 and in reply to your notice letter dt.20.8.2009, received by me on 28.8.2009, I am hereby informing you that in connection with payment of SMART PAY to LIC as per understanding with HDFC Bank, the smart pay to lic the payments were not made by you. I have not received any communication from you.

After receipt of your letter, as mentioned in your letter, for clarifications I contacted Mr.Paul Ajay (09392386451), he suggested Ms.Anita to contact (09396743197) but both are not responded, there is clarification from them. There is no customer care to your HDFC customer. This is very practice from you.

Kindly clarify How you have arrived Rs.24285.54?
I have not received further reply from you against your letter dt.10.5.2006.

Kindly refund Rs.24285.54 to my account which is not correct by debiting my account without my notice and acceptance. I have not given any authorization to you for debiting of unnecessary amounts from my account which not correct and not acceptable. Please pay back immediately without further delay which is illegal thing committed by you. Otherwise I have to approach Reserve Bank of India, Hyderabad and Consumer Court for necessary help and support.

I have closed my carloan a/c no-646535 dted-31 Jul 2009 &submitted R.c book xeroxcopy to your officer Mr.Narendra, cuttack Branch to issue of NOC with in 25th Aug 2009.When i called dted 31st & got another telephone no to querry &that officer called me cuttack branch dted 5th sept to collect NOC with idcard.Tilltoday i have not got NOC.Your officer also harrasement to me.I again request your goodself to look in to the matter personally &issue of NOC as far as possible.

Dear Sir,
I have a recently opened Prepaid cards cum salery (HDFC Money Plus Card ) in which I have get my Money Plus card but not get my pin number as yet, one month has gone to wait for the same. I could not get my salery transferred by the company. So I am very disappointed with the service providing by HDFC. I have complaint against the branch in Sanjay place, Agra many times but they are not giving me any positive response. My humble request to you pls sort out my problem as soon as possible.

I hope you must have engaged some qualified tele calling executives who represent the bank HDFC and are entrusted to call on the customers and remind them for their due payments with some professional ettiquette and manners.But there are some instances where ur telecalling girls are using abusive words to the family members and have also started threatening .
Now i hope i should escalate this matter with your senior management and lastly at the consumer forum.

I Paritosh pandey requested to HDFC bank customer care & collection depar
artment from month of July for Full settlement of my card .When your credit card division blocked my Bank account on that time I requested for settlement .on that
time my total amount something 22000 .collection depart cut 3800 .than collection tele executive told me you have pay Rs7500 to full settlement in two or three instalments and told me that time rs700 for processing than I give that Rs700 .Then
next month credit card division told me sorry sir we cannot process your request on Rs7500 so you have gave Rs10300 in full settlement in four instalments .Also on that
time I agree to pay, tele executive told me my instalments are of Rs2560 each so pls pay Rs1100 (2560-1460 )this month & continues your next instalments from next month .Then Credit card division again blocked my Account, then I go to HDFC BANK credit card division Rajauri garden for this settlement purpose, then executive
told me NOT ANY SETTLEMENT IS DONE.i shocked that time and then the executive told me sir next month(November) your settlement will be happen .
So please
Take my request process it. Because I want to resolve this problem anyhow .Help
Me out as soon as possible.

Sir, due to misbehaviour of your executive from telephone number 011-43145300 on 30-07-2009 I made a complaint to HDFC branch Hisar Haryana vide book no 41530 complaint no C-155_HBCR 7UFDGQ/09 docket no 9298139 and it was requested to close my credit card number 434786000413079.At that time Re 1560- were over due my credit card. I have paid Re 2100- and again requested to close my credit card telephinically as well as in writing but it is sorry to point that I am still receiving calls from 01143145100 and SMS for making payment of over due.I have already requested to stop any type of transaction from my cerdi card and close immediately and I will not be resposible for any type of payment, then why your bank is harrassing me.It is again requested to consider my request immediately and cancell all overdue amount which is not relating to me.I will not be responsible for any transaction from above noted credit account.

Sir/Madam,

This is sorry to inform you that myself Ms.Nirmal Wasuja (sr. Citizen Defence services) is being harassed by your hdfc employees for not done any thing wrong. My credit card no.# 4050 2810 0018 4306 and was stolen in March 2008.(FIR Given) from my home in robbery. Now directly coming to the point every day or the other your people used to call me for payments and i also made one payment last year assuring me by your team members that no body from the hdfc bank will call you again for payment of your said card as this is the last payment and rest all amount is waved as it is used by you. Now its been more than 20 months still your team is harassing/disturbing me for more payments. My husband is not mentally fit and beyond that i am being tortured by your team.
Shock of my life is that you people hold my Maruti Alto car's NOC (HDFC CAR Loan no.599953) on that behelf that you are defaulter in hdfc bank credit card which i have already told you that card in being misused in robbery and my Car Loan is fully paid and no outstanding is pending in it.
This is last letter/complaint to you otherwise i have to complaint to RBI for harassment and not giving my NOC of the said loan which is clear by all means.
