This is with regard to my credit card # 4346 7810 0224 7575. I have been holding this card for more than 3 years. The repayment towards my card has been very prompt since then; however, due to some medical expenses that I had to incur of the last 2 months January and February 2009, I failed to make the payment on time. I even called HDFC customer care to explain this and the person on the other end acknowledged the same and confirmed that I could make the lump payment for two months by End of March. Today, I received a call from HDFC Customer care again (Deepa) who was utmost rude on call and demanded the payment today itself (06 Mar 2009). I also told her that I would not be able to make the payment today and shall arrange the payment by tomorrow and walk-in-to the branch and make the cash payment of the said amount (Rs.2000). She did not listen and was very harsh to me. I also told her that I would be complaining to RBI if she continues to talk this way and she was least bothered about it. She said " I don't care, you could complain to anyone you wish to" (these were the exact words used by her). I'm totally taken aback by the way these people from the bank treat their customers. I would sincerely appeal to whomsoever to look into this as I'm a BP Patient and such calls really disturb my mental stability. I would not hesitate to blame the bank for any mishap that I face due to rising level in my pressure.
There have been couple of other people too to add to the list. One of them is Anil Anandan from Bangalore branch of HDFC.
Please do something as I strongly feel that this is affecting my mental health. I wish to re-iterate here that most of the call center people from HDFC (collections) are not maintaining the standards when it comes to customer service.
I am very much upset to say that from the last fortnite I am sending mails to customer care and the possible addresse but noone is responding.It is so surprising from a person like me who got homeloan and car loan together.It shows how the company cares for their customers.In fact they bother for their future customer and not for their existingones as they are already in their fold/mercy.
How one can rely on company's sweet coated announcement based on customer satisfaction level.
I would like to bring attention of company's any individual who is reading this mail even to the top level executive if they mean service then please understand my problem and mail me directly as their junior staff are hopeless in customer care since neither they communicate the fact to the concern managers nor they respond back to their customer just to manupulate their customer satisfaction level graph/percentage.
Hope utilization of this platform may help me and will open the eyes of the company.

I agree with this issue. Even I have been harrased by one Mr.Mahindra from HDFC Bank Bangalore(Ph:080-42080228) and asked me to pay money immediately or his people would beat me up in middle of the road. He also asked me If I cant pay money immediately then they would kidnap me and take out my kidney and sell it to clear the credit card dues.
My expereience was to totally different. I am using the HDFC CARD from November 2005, without any due from my side. but I am getting lot of unnecessary torture calls from SANKAR OF BALA ASSOCIATES in GUINDY, CHENNAI 600 032. Finally I approached the customer support manager, he simply told in the same name some other person has to pay some money, instead calling that persone they calling me, because of the same name but the initial is different, the card no. also different, how clever the HDFC PEOPLE. I have a recently opened saving A/c cum salery A/c having A/c no:-13741050011413 in which I did not get my welcome kit neither dabit card as yet, one month has gone to wait for the same. I could not get my salery transferred by the company. So I am very disappointed with the service providing by HDFC. I have my A/c in Nehru Place branch in Delhi, I have complaint against the branch many times but they are not giving me any positive response. My humble request to you pls sort out my problem as soon as possible.

This is to your information that i amgetting a call from your agency no bering 080-42080634 abusing me with bad words saying me as begger and asking me to beg for clearing the payment even though i have explained them my present situation that i have lost my job and in search of my job still they are not listening. Please help me for taking every year donation in keshavnagar mundwa pune 36 school (vatslaya & Oscar English medium.)I have three childrens, How it possible to me pay every year 3000 to 4000 per head. i have came to know that one of the school management simply telling to the parents that if u dont have to pay the donation then take out ur children from here & see another school were it possible.

I, Nusrat Husain from lucknow holding a credit card no.5415382317569341 of your bank. This is to inform you that i have taken loan against this card, loan no is 7777777771370383. As per my record i have already paid all the EMI's but now since they are charging extra amount as late fees. Earlier your executive use to come and collect the payment from my place but when i realised that late charges has been enforced to me i started submitting the payment to the bank. I have been contacting to the customer care since past 6 months for the settlement but none of the action has been taken against it. In between during the month of February, a call come to me from ABN AMRO Noida branch that you have to pay Rs, 315 only and we will provide you the NOC within 15 days. The same has been done from my side but till date i haven't received any NOC and they are telling that the total outstanding is Aprox Rs. 9000. this is a total fraud from your side.
Secondly, when i recently visited the bank to deposit some money in my account, i checked my account through ATM, then i came to know that Rs. 2070 has been deducted from my account by credit card section without any intimation to me as through auto debit procedure. I haven't given the permission to the card section to auto debit the money from my account and i have neverdid the same then how can you auto debit the money from my account without my permission or without giving any intimation. This is really a rediculous job from your bank. I have never expected such a working from your bank. This is the last time in my life that i will be doing banking with ABN AMRO and as soon as all my payment will be settled i will discontinue my card and would never suggest to anybody to go for ABNAMRO card or bank. Because your bank motto must be to trap the customer and earn money from them and atthe end harressed them with your damn calls.
Now, finally can you suggest that how should i settle my all balance and if there is any chance to waive off some amount. Since i have made lots of complain in customer care and most of the operator of yours just don't have the way of talking to the customer. The language they used is very shameful.So from now onwards i will not call to any of the customer care.
So kindly do tell that how can i settle my balance and surrender my card at=
Last week my health policy has been done thtrough your call center executive. She was supposed to send me the details of the policy, but last week I got my policy done through "Bajaj Allianz". Sir/madam I am not interested in it. So Kindly cancel my policy earliest.
Today I got a message on mobile that your credit card division has sent me the statement of my card through mail. With min. amount due is 569.42 and total due is 692.32. Please also cancel my this amount because I haven't spent this money through my credit card. If you are charging for policy then I have already said that I am not interested.

She is giving mental torture like anything for just 1600 Ruppes Inspiet of making the payment of Rs 8500 on 30-7-2009.Even after telling her that i will make the short payment by next week she is not listening anything and using all sort of bad words and says will send the guys to the house. If any thing happens to me. HDFC people will be the responsible.
sir i am using your credit card for last six months minimum due for this month is 1900 last weak i have a call from your chandigarh centre and the parson use wrong language to my mother his name is vikas and now on 23rd of aug at 1.30pm sivani call to me and ask me for payment i told her that i will pay on 28th of aug and she say i want it now and she call me 20 times after that call and starting abusing me very badly so this is my request take some action against them
