[Resolved] Hindustan Lever Ltd - Pure It Water Filter — Request for battery change | |
Have been requesting for changing the battery in the Pure - it water filter. The service engineer has been calling me for the last one week to say that he is coming in the evening to do the job. But the person doesnot turn up in the evening, with the result we need to wait for him at home. We now repent for having purchased this product of Hindustan Lever Limited, which has a very very bad service back-up team. This attitude of the engineer is totally ...totally frustating. I would like to inform that whosoever wants to buy this product of HLL, pls dont go by the company name. You will be buying peace if you dont venture to buy. Was this information helpful? | |

I also totally agree to this. It has been two weeks since I'm trying to get the battery replaced here in Panchkula(chandigarh), but the customer service is pathetic. I've been calling their Delhi office, punjab office, haryana office, but no positive response. Everytime I hear the bettery will be delivered in a day. I just want to throw this product out of my home.

on repeatly telling to change filter assy after battery life over, no body from ur customer care of tirunelveli is attening.this is how u promise before ur product sell.do needful.thanking u I too have faced the same problem, what Mr. B.S Walia has faced. I too made 5 times call to the customer care and assurance of service with in 2-3 days was given by SR. EXECUTIVE, but not a single action has be taken place and due to Purit unhygenic water, every day we are facing stomach problem.
and now i would suggest each and every one of you to come forward and approach to consumer cell,
otherwise this same problem might happen to our near ones.

Hindustan Lever Ltd/ Pure It — Replacement of Tape
Dear sir,I have been using pure it since 15 months and its tape has broken. Since last one month I am complaining to customer care to replace it in Bangalore, however no one has turned up for replacement.

Its more than eleven days, since I made the complaint for new taps, battery & set, black filter etc with a socalled free pump. I have been told it is Rs.385 and will be done in three working days. Nothing has been done till to-day, but I used to get answer, either in the moring, or evening or 24 hrs.
It is strange, that they can request, zonel office for the complint, but whereas they don't know, their immediate superior, or their name or mobile no. etc. They are highly cleaver to how would they can avoid. If it's available in the open market, let me do so instead of wasting my time & calls. They never allow me to die nor fulfil complaint. I am getting my Blood Pressure increase on every call to them and finally I have to choose the consumer Court.

I have called up hindustan pure helpline on 10/17/08 and placed a oder for my battery change and then they have taken my oder s08/blr[protected] executive name was called akelsh and they said me u will get in three working days then we said fine and we are waiting for it till 10/20/08, then i called up customer helpline and i spoke to yogesh he said sir u wil be geting call asap just w8 for tit. then after tow days one of executive calls me and ask my adress sir where ur address belongs so i person is on the way . then i have explained in detail . after 2hours back i called the same person then he reply me back and says me this address area dosnt come in my area and he keep the phone ..???????????????????/

I had changed the battery cartrige only once, and the service personell has done it in a satisfactory manner. The problem is with the cover of the battery life indicator panel, its holding plastic clip is corroding due to the presence of the chlorine tablet inside the cartridge. i asked him to replace it on Payment, then the service personell told me that he will replace it next time. Yesterday that panel fell down as a result of corrossion due to chroline tablet. Today I asked the daler point for that particular white clip, which will cost Rs.2 to Rs.5. He is saying that company is not supplying the clip and asked me to purchase the whole cover for Rs.42/-, then I contacted the company service phone numbers same is the result. Any way I will have to rethink for another 7 stage water filter for Rs.995/- from Pigeon.

i am dinesh soni from kolkata... this co is the worst co in the field of water purifying machines... every time when we need to change the battery of the machine we are calling to the customer care of the co... but the customer care executive are not cultured, disgasting... they dont even talk to customers properly.. theyare not humble... and TOTALY unable to fulfill the requirement of the customer and to give the information about the product and the delivery date of the battery...i've got the mobile no. of a higher level executive to complaint about the same but all in vain... even she did not talk to me properly..
i'll suggest every body not to purchase anyproduct of hindustan lever... you will suffer it for the life time...

i got this equipment as gift from company, whenever i call over phone, reply from HINDUSTAN UNILEVER, it will be delivered within 3 days from Sept 2008 onwards

I never expected it from a company of this calibre to play this dirty trick to hike the already high price of the battery kit.
It is humiliating that we have to go and beg them for changing the battery kit. and, they in return give an answer like an answering machine. Let's all collectively sue them and claim to take their machine back and pay us the cost of the machine sans battery kit. Let's take initiative asap...

HINDUSTAN LEVER LTD ., PURE IT — NON-DELIVERY OF SPARE KIT
I have booked the kit for replacement personally entering in their register as their phonelines were not working . This has happened on 3rd Novemeber 2008. The person has promised me to deliver by same date . But unfortunately till date they have not delivered . I am surprised to see such a long list of complaints on poor after sales service. Then why they are not improving the same. When they deliver the kit ? . Is there a better way to complain to them. Please help. It is purely waste of time and resources . I strongly recomend every one not to buy this product, since it has a very very worst service back up team as well they never give response to the calls, always they have one word that the service guy will come, if we say that we want to buy your product i dont know from where they will have so many people to call us and approach us to show the demo. Selling product is a big deal but selling brand name is not so tuff, i think hindustan lever is spoiling its name by having such a worst service back up team.Making the customer fully satisfied is by providing them a good service after the sales.

Since Last one month i am repeatedly complining the problem to your Dombivli DealerEvery alternate day somebody pick up the phone and camly ask the caller name and transfert the phone to other person every time, the other person ask who is calling what is your complaint and adress and tells that tomarrow we will send some body. But after one month also that tomarrow never come till date.
