[Resolved]  Hindustan Lever Ltd - Pure It Water Filter — Request for battery change

Have been requesting for changing the battery in the Pure - it water filter. The service engineer has been calling me for the last one week to say that he is coming in the evening to do the job.

But the person doesnot turn up in the evening, with the result we need to wait for him at home.

We now repent for having purchased this product of Hindustan Lever Limited, which has a very very bad service back-up team.
This attitude of the engineer is totally ...totally frustating.

I would like to inform that whosoever wants to buy this product of HLL, pls dont go by the company name. You will be buying peace if you dont venture to buy.

yes that's true the service is not a poor but pathetic. the same problem i am facing from the last 4 days there engineer is saying to me that i am coming today and not came.

I want to change the battery for HLL pure it, im from Mangalore, Karnataka.Can you please tell me the contact here.
During Cold Winter Can we use Pureit filtered water after making hot by boiling.
During winter can we drink pure it water after boiling/ warming. wheather it will make any difference.
Now I know why these people are on the street with this product. this could be their last lot of product.

Absolutely awful service. our filter's tap clipped off within a month of its purchase. it was bought 2 years ago. we have complained at least 10 times. but they have not bothered to replace it so far.
Advice to people don't buy Hindustan Unilever pure it water filter. because they are not giving the service suppport. 4 months later I ordered the battries till now they are not send. when i am calling they will say today or tommarow we will send. I called more then 10 times to help line. we are suffering with this company that's why i am advising don't buy Hindustan unilever pure it water filter.

Hindustan Unilever Pureit Water Filter — Requesting for Battery Change since 8 Days

I N S Sudhakar, Mobile No.[protected] purchased Hindustan Uniliver Limited Pureit Water Filter 2 years Back. On 22/01/2009 I have made a request by dialing[protected] for Battery Change. The Customer Care executive told me that the battery will be replaced within 2 working days. After that it has become the regular duty to telephone to HUL Customer Care Centre for Battery everyday for 2 times. 8 days are already passed. But there is no response from the Company. There is no proper service team for HUL Company. Then Why the Company is manufacturing the Filters and selling to the People without providing Service. Finally I Came to a conclusion that to file a petition against HUL in Consumer Forum

HLL - Pure it — Battery change - NOT done yet ...WORST service ....

We have placed order for the battery and received the order no. Since then we have been following for the same. every time we call the call centre ( [protected] ) ...we get responses like " OUR service engineer will you before coming and deliver the battery " ..." Today you will receive the battery "...etc.

This is happening since last 2-3 days and we have NOT received the battery yet...NOT even the expected call from their service team...

Now, we have stopped using the water purifier as it has done its max. capacity.

We will file consumer case if NOT delivered in next 2 days...also if we suffer from any water borne diseases, HLL - Pure it dept. would be responsible for the same

Dear Sir,

I purchased pureit Germkill batter kit alongwith microfiber mesh on 7 feb 2009. At the time of puchase I was advised to go for long lasting kit which they said would come for 2250 ltrs. At the time of fittment the polisher size happen to be lenthier than the original one. Unable to fit it I rang up to Help line number [protected] and asked why I was given the wrong size. They said they would replace the right one withing two workings days without any charge and take back the one baught. Today ie on 10 feb 2009 the service engineer has come and fitted the write size and was demanding again Rs. 500/- and said we will have take the one which was baught to the same shop and get our money back. It happend to be contrary to the assurace given by the helpline telecaller. It is very astonishin that a service from a reputed company like H U L to be.

Hence I request the highest autherity of the customer care officer should look into this matter and resolve the problem.

My customer ID No. is [protected]. My Pureit battery kit has already been exhausted one month before. I contacted help line No.[protected] for the same. They informed me to contact one Mr. Vimal on his mobile No.[protected]. I have been contacting above both numbers from last one month for supply of battery kit. They postponing my request on the grounds that battery kit is out of stock and it will be supplied by tomorrow. That tomorrow still not come even after one month. Why the add is being screened on TV. The moto to provide better and unintruptted service has been proved to be false. I am in tension after buying this pureit filter. Kindly direct the concerned person to supply the battery kit immediately. You may also made availaable these items in local market so that all customer can purchase at their own and simulteneously your product will also not suffer.
i have purchaged pureit water filter in 2000 repeese. but for that i m not getting any filter stand in market. whehre you are supplying filter stand also, if not then please give me advice that where i can get. pleae reply immediately.
After hearing to so many voices about the poor service, i have decided not to buy this product.
But can someone suggest me which WATER PURIFIER would be good...?
pls come and change my batteries which is expired, pls give importance because we have small children at home
