[Resolved] Hindustan Lever Ltd - Pure It Water Filter — Request for battery change | |
Have been requesting for changing the battery in the Pure - it water filter. The service engineer has been calling me for the last one week to say that he is coming in the evening to do the job. But the person doesnot turn up in the evening, with the result we need to wait for him at home. We now repent for having purchased this product of Hindustan Lever Limited, which has a very very bad service back-up team. This attitude of the engineer is totally ...totally frustating. I would like to inform that whosoever wants to buy this product of HLL, pls dont go by the company name. You will be buying peace if you dont venture to buy. Was this information helpful? | |

Hindustan Lever Ltd - Pure it Battery kit delivery — Poor service from HLL Pure it on battery kit delivery
Hi Concern,With respect to the above subject, I requested to change the batter kit on 31.05.2009 after that I have spoke to call center many times, till date no one bother to come and change the same.
I am facing this kind of problem since last 2 years and we can't keep one person to follow up with you people. Realy there is no meaning in selling this product and stop selling this to customers. Close your purit manufactureing company.
When I called, each time they promised to send same day or next day. Till now nothing is executed.
I feel buying this product is good but service of HLL to customers is very very very bad.
I suggest people to think twice before buying this product. My request with company is when you cant serve to customers please stop selling this product instead off trubling the customers.

PURE IT FILTER of HLL — Changing Battery Kit
I have sne dthe complaint to customer care located at kolkata six days back for changing the battery kit of my pure it filter.But every time I used to contact them they are saying they will do it in next three working days.Since they are not responding properly I am registering this complaint to customer complaint forum.and copy of the same to HUL, USAhindustan unilever limited/pureit — Battery Change Request
I Purchased water Purifier from Hindustan Unilever two months, I have been asking a service for this product from past two weeks. Everytime I call them the response I get is their executive will be at home before next day evening. They keep on promising the same on each call but you will find all these promises are only over phone.Their service is one of the worst I have ever found. This product is not recommandable to any, only of their worse service. They will be at home the very next day if you have to buy this product, but buy only if you can purchase new water purifier from them in every two months.

I was about to order Pure It when I came across these comments. I was also going to buy it based on the name Hindustan lever. But then reading these comments, I can totally understand everyone's frustration. With the rains coming in, we are all looking for water purifiers to safeguard our families health but then the mental strain and harassment like this is totally not needed. I hope someone in HLL is reading these comments and acting on these feedbacks.
Hindustan Unilever / Pureit Water Purifier — Worst Service & Winner of 1 Crore
This is a very worst service yet I seen in this industries. I have logged the complaint for battery replacement on 07th April 2009 and since that day I am waiting for their tech person.My complaint details are below,
07th April 09 -- Booked for battery replacement.
28th April 09 -- Reminder for the same.
12th May 09 -- S09/MUM/[protected]
19th May 09 -- S09/MUM/[protected]

Till the date I am waiting for it.
Can I go to the consumer court and ask for 1 Crore winning amount against this bloody fraud company.
Pureit water filter Hindustan Unilever, Ltd. — Not proper working of water filter
I had purchased a Pureit Water Purifier, a product of Hindustan Unilever Limited since last feb, 2009. In the past one month, the filter is not properly filtering water. My customer ID- [protected].In the last one month, i had complained regularly in the customer care number of Jharkhand and other customer care numbers of the company. Every time they ensure us that their technician will visit my home and would check the problem. But till date, no such technician or any person from the company has come.
Kindly see into the matter as urgent as possible.
Pureit Water Filter — Pathetic Service
I have bought Pureit last March from Baroda, since then no service provider has visited our place to see if the product is properly functioning, while purchasing the product they have promised that they will send the service engineer to check on regular intervels but it was not followed up, when I asked for battery replacement last month they said it will be done within three working days, but even after rigorous follow up no body followed up for weeks, when contacted on the help line number we used to get the same answer that the service tech will visit in three days - how pathetic, please don't recommend it to anyone Hundistan Lever who has reputable market share is loosing on the services of it's products.So think twice to buy this product as it will be a basic water filter to store your water.
Hindustan lever Pure it system — Misguide By your Executive
I Srishty had taken your Pure It system On 01.11.2008 no. RPB[protected]. He told all its advantages but did'nt tell us its battery life. After six months th indicator of your pure it shows Red signal. I have complaint to your Help line No. they said you have to purchase battery for Rs. 365/-. But why? we purchase, your executive has misguided us. he did'nt tell us about battery capacity is only 1500ltr water purify. pl knowlige in water filtter purifers give me bhati

At the time of Demo Mr.kuldeep whose mobile no. is [protected] told us that the cost of Machine is Rs 1800/- and
Some parts will change 2 times in a year when the indicator gets red. On 27/10/08 the machine is installed.
On April the indicator get red and kuldeep changed the parts for Rs 365/- for which he not gave us any receipt, as per my
Fathers told me.
After one month again indicator gets red. I talked to Mr. Kuldeep and he told me that every month you have to changed the
Parts. I really surprised that the reputed co. personnel is misguide the Customer after and before the installing the machine.
This is not good approach to sell the product. Tell the truth to customer at the time of Demo.
After talked to kuldeep 2 times he assured that he will visit to our home and solve the problem
But there is no visit by kuldeep to our home to solve the problem.
This mean the cost of machine is Rs 1800/- and Cost of parts Rs 365 X 12 Months = Rs 4380/- much more than the
Cost of machine.
Please, Solve the matter as per earlier as possible and revert the reply
