[Resolved]  Hindustan Lever Ltd - Pure It Water Filter — Request for battery change

Have been requesting for changing the battery in the Pure - it water filter. The service engineer has been calling me for the last one week to say that he is coming in the evening to do the job.

But the person doesnot turn up in the evening, with the result we need to wait for him at home.

We now repent for having purchased this product of Hindustan Lever Limited, which has a very very bad service back-up team.
This attitude of the engineer is totally ...totally frustating.

I would like to inform that whosoever wants to buy this product of HLL, pls dont go by the company name. You will be buying peace if you dont venture to buy.

Dear HUL,

Is anybody there to listen my complaint? Your battery kit is not providing 1500 liters of pure water as you are promising.

Let me explain;

there are 5 persons in my house.

I offten will be on tour,

During day time;

My wife will take 1 Ltr. water to office,

My elder daughter will take water at her office,

My youger daughter will take 1 Ltr. water bottle to school,

My mother only will be at home and she also consume 1 Ltr during day time

So, on an average per day per head shall consume maximum 2 Ltrs water x 5 persons = 10 Ltr.

Per month 30 x 10 = 300 Ltr.

Therefore, your assured quantity of 1500 Ltr should confirmly fetch us 5 months.

But, in reality your battery kit will fetch only 2 or 3 months of water, i.e only 600 to maximum 1000 Ltrs. of pure water.

When I try to convey this info to your call centre No.[protected], there will be only one information as, "1. Battery Kit fetch only 1500 Ltrs., 2. Room heat condition where pureit is kept." (But, at the time of Pureit sales, these conditions were not told ) replyed me as pre-recorded message. As your back office is like a face less office, if we stress our problem, they immediately asked us to complain with where we bought your HUL Pureit. This is ridicules. If you don't look into this, I have no other option, but publish this.

Also please note that, this problem persist since begining and couple of years back upon my repeated compulsion, it was changed on free of cost. I want you to take up this issue seriously and make your R & D in full condition as your customer is not your R & D to give feed back about the product.

Finally, we are blind user of HLL to HUL brands for many decades. Kindly consider our voice and take care of your brand image.

Yes, I agree with that. i am facing the same problem from last two months. I call on helpline & order for Battery Kit 2 to 3 times, but till date i have not received battery kit. I would like to inform the people who wants to buy this product please don't buy. it's just a headache.

Yes, I agree 100% -- HUL Pureit has an extremely callous service set-up. I have changed my battery 3 times in last one year and every time I had a hell of a time in waiting and suffering due to the their MONOPOLY and the big Trap and simply a NON-RESPONSIVE NON-PERFORMING customer service. And this time I have been waiting for about seven weeks for the replacement of the broken tap. IS THIS BRAND CALLED HINDUSTAN UNILEVER ???!!!

I am shocked to see so many complaints for Pureit, i thought to lodge a complain with the Co. but seeing these complains it is SURE that the Co. is least bothered .So friends try to join together and spread the complains DO NOT go for brand HUL service is WORST...
I am also faceing the same problem, I am surprise that inspite of so many complaint from different location Management of HLL just don't bother to initiate any action or imporve their system.
Pathetic service, I have bought two purit water filters one myself and one for my parents, previously we used to boil the water. The product seems to to fine but the service is honestly pathetic, my recent bad experience is, one of the filter the tap is broken, I have logged a complain in the call centre for the replacement of the tap 7 days back, within two days the service person arrives with a battery kit & does not agree taht the call was logged for tap replacement. When i doubled checked with the call center the call was correctly logged for tap and I was provmised within two day the person will arrive with the tap, the agency person call everyday taht their person will be coming in the evening but no one as turmed up till date.

yes the company giving very very poor service. The company management should care otherwise you have to face a big problem with public.
Hi, my customer ID is[protected], I am really surprise by the customer service of HLL is really good for nothing .

I am requesting for change of chlorine chock since 10day and every time I call customer care, I am being told that it will be deliver the next day.
My complaint number is -T[protected].

Could anyone please look into this matter and get this issue resolve asap.

People in customer care of HLL are really of no use as they really lack the basic call etiquette. God please help HLL .

I would also like to inform the other consumer, please check after sale service before you take a purchase decision.

Hindustan Lever Ltd. Pure It — pathetic service

I have called to the customer care for more than 4 times and no response has been taken yet as my pureit battery has been discharged and its been abt 20 days of it.
This is really pathetic service and i m going to buy another purifier and will advise other people to do so as well.
These ppl only knows how to advertise and doesnt know how to serve the customers.

just now i called your man to give me a demo i will kick him in his balls
it is worth it

it is a shame that a company of HLL stature does not even bother to answer any of these problems
