[Resolved]  Homeshop18 — FRAUD/CHEATING

Hi,

I had purchased a mobile from Homeshop18 on the 19th Sep using my credit Card. My Card was debited the same time and order went through. I was promised for the part to be delivered in 8-9 days. on 24th Sep got an SMS stating that there is slight delay in the order and the same will be delivered in 3-5 days. I went to their website and raised a Trouble Ticket(TT) # 74850459 on the 25th Sep. I received a message in the Ticket that i will be contacted in 72 hours and the matter has been escalated to the higher authorities.

I waited and received a call from Parul ( Phone # [protected]) and said that the product is out of stock and hence would be available by 12th Oct with HS18 and then it will take 3-5 days for it to be shipped. She asked me to go for a Black colour as the same was available. As the same was not as per the order i had placed so I asked for a Supervisor and he came on call and after 30 mins of conversation promised for a callback within 24 hours and this was on the 27th Sep. So i said ok and we hang up the call.

On 28th Sep I was waiting for the call but no one called back. So on 29th Sep I again called back and had a word with Nalini. She too promised to look for solutions and promised for a callback before 6pm same day (I have a recording for this). No callback was received.

On 1st Oct I called up and had a word with Brijesh(he informed me that he was Manager) and said that the callback would be done by 6pm. On telling him the entire story and asking for an early callback he said that he will get it arranged by 12noon. I waited and again all in vain. I again called back and had a word with Surojit who was not ready to transfer the call and also was saying that there are no supervisor or Managers to take the call. He got me on hold and after 19 mins disconnected the call. (I have a recording for all the conversations post 29th Sep)

I called back again and then got hold of Shakir and was informed by him that the product is OUT of STOCK and hence will be delivered by the 4-5 of this week. I told him that its my wife's birthday on 4th so i want the phone by then and he said that he will try and after 40 mins of converstaion we ended the call.

Now the real fun begins now:
On 2nd Oct i was just going through the Homeshop18 website and saw the superdeals offer and was shocked to see that the same product was showing to be available and in In Stock as well. I was being cheated and not only me thousands of other customers as well were being cheated by HS18. They promise for a callback and don't callback I have wasted so much of time and money in calling them back. I have been harrassed mentally and my work was affected by it. I have taken a print out of their website which shows that the product is available and in Stock.

I want the HS18 team to ship my product at the earliest and provide me the compensation for the time that i lost in calling them up and the cost i incurred for calling customer care again and again. I also was a compensation for the mental harrassment given to me by the HS18 team and for cheating us inspite of paying them the amount on time.
