[Resolved]  Honda Unicorn — warranty and service problem

My name is globit oliver, i have lot of complaints regaring my silver unicorn bike .buyed loctober month of 2008, its performance was too bad and service providing by marikar motors trivandrum was too bad, they are only good in taking the money not good in services, for what based you are providing a 1 year warranty, my bikes fuel guage was unfunctioning they told me they provide a warranty for that, it was the techinical mistake and y they dont provide the warranty, , , , , , , , , , , , after using my bike i had feel some difficulties to ride my bike like sound occurs from chain sproket, sound from the mudgraurd, difficulty to start, smoke occurs from xilencer(main defect), light was fallen on, sound occurs while using clech and accelator, low mileage, difficulty in gear shifting and some varirty sound occurs when rear and front break and many more complaints i cant explain
i gave to warranty work for 3 times with all these complaints and result is same thing, only they do washing the silencer and and taking more money for their service charge than other things,
then what is the use of your service centers and others warranties, i thought local work shop is more good than you.now my friends are not interesting in buying unicorn bikes.Now i am thinking that HONDA's engine is not a branded one.
if you r a right person then help me to smoothe ride, there is no other option than a consumer complaints in front of me, i will file a complaint if there is no response from your side, its too bad ok and also i will not gave any charge for any complaints yet more

last month i buy unicorn r with in 1 month i faces so many problems speedometer fails suddenly and very very difficult to start the bikes in morning i kick the kicker above 25to30 times until bike does i`t start with the help of selfstart i start my bikes and mileage is also not good they told bike gives more than 60kmpl but i get only 50kmpl in cities with the help of free services i manage the problems i reccomment go to other 150cc good bikes

My name is manivannan, i have lot of complaints in my new unicorn r red with black graphics .it is difficult to start the bike in morning, within one month from the date of buying speedometer fails, when i reach speed above 60kmph bike shakes automatically it will create fear to drive the bike in highways, and it gives below 45kmpl mileage, and the tail lights are not fit with the bike, bike stability is very very poor.so plzzz go for other good 150cc bikes. this is very poor bike in this segment.

Guys, , i am not sure about your problems with unicorn... but let me tell you what i am owning this bike since may 08, and i am very happy with it's perf / mileage / spare parts.. bike has run 18K kms and till now i have changed only disc brake blades, , , if you want to know about your unicorn well, , take it on the highways, , , my bike has reached max 120km/hr speed and even in that speed handling was superb...unicorn cannot be compared with pulsars (considered best bike in 150cc segment) at all, , as pulsar cannot stand anywhere near unicorn in terms of performance and quality...unicorn is the best...

marikar motors tvm — gear shifting complaint

Sir,
I am honda twister custmer, The compplaint was gear shifting problem from 2nd to 3rd . This complaint arises from the vehicle delivery period, now the vehicle under warranty period and only covered 8,000 km. I reach so many times in honda authrised service centre, but the complaint was persists.
Selling Dealer : Marakar Motors , Trivandrum.

i am 100% agree with this complaint.
