[Resolved] Honda Unicorn — pathetic service, unprofessional | |
I am a proud owner of Honda Unicorn from 1st Oct 2006. My complaint relate to the quality of service tendered by EVM-honda service vytilla cochin and Trivandrum. I was delivered a motorbike with bent handle bar/scraped front brake lever and torn throttle grip. I was harrased by the sales manager when I got this matter noticed by him just 2 minutes after delivery. The service manager(Sudeesh mohan) and another moroon customer support manager(Abilash) have failed to do anything to customer satisfaction. Every problem on the motorbike when worked upon will give rise to even grave problems after that. I have stopped riding the motorbike hence void th warrenty. I paid Rs. 2000/- for a front fork oil change and other small work. I am fed up with the worst service offered by them. I have written numerous Emails to HMSI, but no use. People here at EVM-Honda are only interested in making money for Mr. Sabu Johny, MD EVM group. Recently he got dealership for VW cars. Sure he is going to mess up things there too. The service people are a bunch o[censored]nprofessional lot who loose out the big picture when working on small jobs. Recently I witnessed service person harrasing a poor couple who complained about leaking petrol tank on the brand new motorbike. I think from several indian forum like XBHP, Team-BHP, RDdreams honda service is the worst of the lot. Was this information helpful? | |

evm and marikar are all the same.the can only damage the name of honda.i even called HMSI and complainted about poor free service.have any one seen how the service manegers test ride your vehicle?.i luckily saw my bike rode by a service man...tears came when i saw the scene..he came fast and skidded my bike in front of me.i was forced to call him some good words..they dont even do the free service well..those who love your bikes.please give your bike to a private honda mechanic and change oil every 2000kms change air filter and spark plug regularly.ur bike will last long.never give to EVM or MARIKAR

You are right in every way Mr. Unnikrishnan. I had experence with both the EVM honda Cochin and Trivandrum, also Marikkar Trivandrum. I do every thing I can do myself like the battery/tyre/lubrication oil / air filter / spark plug change etc. But its hard to find any professional mechanic without using the infamous hammer treatment. From day 1 fuel flow problem exist and still not been rectified. Even with 10 ltr of fuel in tank motorbike feels like gasping for fuel after riding 100km nonstop.

Honda service is just pathetic. All the mechanincs in Bangalore service centers are dumb fools. They dont even understand simple things like one should not start the engine without engine oil. My bike was giving 60 kmpl mileage and was silk smooth. After first service my bike's sound feels like it is very old bike. I dont know what they did. When i cheked with them they say it is normal.
I want to kill that who did this to my bike.

I am writing with great dissatisfaction and displeasure with the service that I got after I had purchsed a brand new Unicon dated 08/02/2010 from KTC honda, Calicut showroom. There was a small snag in the idicator switch which I had raised with sales at the time of purchase and I was adviced that it would be fixed in the first service. I was charged 500 Rs. later on the first service last week and I was told that ' We cannot service the indicator switch and we need to replace it', which I am in complete disagreement. The customer service is pathetic at KTC, and they are only running behind money and they donot know how to behave with customers and I am sure Honda has to think about this seriously and escalate approporiately if honda wants to keep up the reputation it had earned all these years. I am sure my problem is small but too many small problems will defenitlely matter a lot. Also, to bring to your kind notice, its noticed that in the bill that they had issued at the time of purchase, they had included a Rs, 1650/- for registration charge and they were not able to explain this charge, I am sure they have robbed me off that amount. I am anyways planning to approach consumer court and defenitely file a suite but wqanted to know if you can do anything about this. My vehicle number is KL-55 E-8653. My first seervice for 540 Kms is just over last week and I am happy to own the Unicon but very unhappy and dissatidfied with the terrible customer service experience from KTC.
jerking and sound
50 km speed above runnig than jerking and soundHumming noise when the ignition switch is turned on
I have purchased activa on day before I.e on 21.08.2014. Today I noticed that when I switch on the ignition key, humming noise start coming. Is it normal or I have To rectify it.Removed my car arm rest lock
My Car no pb 10 ER 6742 sent my Car for bumper repair at vidhata Honda Ludhiana on 30/05/16 and got it back on 02/06/16.i am shocked to know that they removed my arm rest lock put there another broken lock please I want my lock back.i went to show room to complain about this but they refused to listen me.please get the things right29%
