Complaint about Hostcats:
They have the worst customer service. Our site has been down for days with no resolution. Left with no choice, I asked them to cancel my account but instead no response for 4 days!!! Then, they forcefully cancelled my account before the month's end even though I have already paid.
I also received a call where they threatened me for payment. If I don't pay, they will not let me access my files and emails.
Hostcats are scammers. Stay far away from these people.

Coming to your issue, not just us, in our knowledge everywhere you go around the globe you won't get refund for a dedicated server or a VPS. VPS you have purchased from us comes with WHM which we have to pay license charges. Money back guarantee is only applicable for shared and reseller hosting with us. Now coming to our expertise on VPS setup, we have around 23 VPS nodes (Xen and OpenVZ) and around 220 VPS hosted with us. 90% of these clients are long term customers. Above all we have clients from Germany, USA and UK who are using our VPSes for more than 6 months. Note this we have started VPS plans just over 1 year back.
If needed we can provide you details of all mails we have send. Our team was friendly to you in all replies and in your ticket ID CRZ[protected] you can see you have received some kind of response in minimum of 10-20 minutes. First of all you have asked us to migrate data to the new VPS purchased with us that we have done in the first day itself. Later you said you have issues with sites; please note that if you have any particular module to be enabled in your server you have to notify us. We will be doing each and everything according to your requirement as we don’t know what all things you require and what all you don’t require. All modules required for php to make working are enabled through easyapache compilation as it is cPanel server. You faced issue after that also as per your mail, at that time we asked for sites you are facing issue, but you didn't reply with site names, instead of problematic domain names we got a reply from you asking a refund.
We have many high profile websites hosted with us which is in banking sector, financial sector, e-commerce, schools and much more, if we are stealing data from them then we won't sustain in a highly competitive field like Web Hosting. We OWN around 95 servers in US and around 20 in India, so we believe you have completely misunderstood us and should have shown bit more patience in setting up a VPS according to your requirement

It will be great if you can provide us more details on your issue so that we can accept that your complaint is genuine.Please provide us the Ticket ID related to this issue also the domain you have hosted with us so that we can verify your authenticity.
Your site won't face downtime of 30 hours unless we face the worst hardware issues. Which haven't happened in last couple of month for sure. We will be waiting for your update on ticket ID and domain name so that we can check what went wrong at our end.
