Hostcats.com server crashed suddenly ...we paid for hostcats its ISO 9001 company displayed in website ..when we asking backup they are telling its down..crashed .., we hosted more than 200 websites ,
This is not first time they are crashing websites without any intimations ..
we send mail to [protected]@hostcats.com , [protected]@hostgaurds.com , livehelp.hostcats.com , called to bangalore 15 times ..no one responding...if responded ..they are saying some other things ...
im not prefer hostcats anymore ..!!
we are sending mail to billing for refund our money ..

If you are a client of ours through Hostguards.com, please don't bring Hostcats.com into the picture. As Hostcats.com is an entirely different Hosting brand with completely different setup. Hostcats.com make use of best and different support system, billing, high end servers and much more. Where Hostguards.com is a our low budget hosting brand which we do not recommend for much clients, and it is served for clients who look for dead cheap hosting. As an example I can say that in Hostcats.com you will get an initial reply for your issue with in 10 - 20 minutes, where in Hostguards.com you can expect reply in minimum of 24 hours only. I hope you are also aware of this as we have shared it with you many times.
Coming to the issue, we have clearly mentioned all the difficulties we have faced with it. Server was a hacked due to WHMCS vulnerability, they have issued a patch for the same in December mid week but we came to know about the same only after the hack issue, as WHMCS never send us a notification on the same. Root password of the server was compromised through WHMCS and hacker accessed server and backup server using the ssh keys setup for automated backups and deleted complete data. We have tried our best to recover the data from our end and with the help of data recovery experts in Florida but it was not successful as the partition was in LVM. Data recovery experts were able to provide us RAW DATA without any file names or structures, which is not helpful to restore back the files.
We are not moving away from our responsibilities but things have been unfortunate. We do have all the proof for complete issue and we have presented it to few of our clients who was able to understand it. We can provide you the same for you also upon your request.
Additionally as a compensation for what happened we offered all our clients 6 months free service. We request to you to co-operate with us at this difficult times.
