[Resolved]  House Owner — House owner block my water line

I am tenent. My house owner name is mr. Chinna samy. He is running a flour mill in his part of his house. I give rs.10, 000. For advance for house and rs.2000for rent and rs.300. For water supply. I got this house on december 2009. From this month begining house owner insist me to vacat the house. I ask him to give one month time. But from today morning he disconnect my houses water supply. What can i do? Where i give the compliant? Kindly give advice. Thank u

My house owner is acting oblivious to the electricity problem in my house. I stay in the first floor of a Ground plus one independent house in Secunderabad. I pay a rent of 15800 Rs per month. Out of 3 phases, the wire which goes to the 2-phase got burnt out and was fixed by the owner (as it was supplying poser to his house). The 3phase also started getting messy. Even after repeated complaints the owner did not get it fixed. The electricity board folks never answer my call or even if they do never turn up to fix the issue. This is one of the problems I am currently facing due to the negligence of the owner. He never provides me with his PAN card number to declare the rental amount for Tax exemptions. Always takes the rent in cash and not through bank transactions either. Worst thing was, 2 years back my father had passed away in the hospital. The owner did not even allow us to bring back his body to the house. If someone is actually reading this message and has authority to take action, I urge you earnestly to teach this guy a lesson.

Hi Sir, i am nagarjun we stayed in Rental house since last 6 months we paid 40, 000 Advance for 1 BHK, we are planning to shifted room cause of job relocation, we informed to house owner before one month but owner not given advance money back, when we ask he said he will return money but at what time i don't know exactly, please help me.

The land lady and his husband took security deposit of rs. 12000 and token money of rs. 3000. We gave a notice of 1 month before vacating the house and they said they would return our money but they did not. We kept asking for it but they are not giving it back. They both are not even picking our calls now. We have all the rent related documents with us. They live in A 451 sector 46 noida.

Hi,

I was staying in a rented house with my friends from last 3yrs. When we were vacating the house now he charged us 42,000 as maintenance charges.
We were fine with paint and small damages that happened. But other than that he got other things like sanitary changed, polished which were fine and were as we got initially.

According to the way things work is a max of one month rent is deducted as maintenance charge. When we went and talked to him he was not ready to hear anything.
Also we believe that whatever the estimates he had given us are too high.
Please help us here.

Dear Sir,

I have rented a house on rent with agreement of 11 month and rent will get revised after 2 years by 15%.

Now suddenly owner is asking for increasing rent by 15%, the reason behind it, initially I was alone but after 2 month shifted with my family i. e. my mother, daughter and wife. As per the owner as room was single and your entire family is staying so rent should go up, but it has not reflected in agreement any where that room was for single occupant.

Also he says that, the electric connection for that single room was not allowed to have Freeze, Heater as he is getting benefit of Solar system subsidy from Karnataka Electric board but he is not providing us solar water heater benefit.

When we are ready to vacate owner asking to paint entire room otherwise deduct the charges from deposit.

Pl. guide me in this matter.

Actually I am staying in a rental house with my family.Now i am in Pune. But my Family members are there.All is ok except current Bill.From the first month current bill shows too high.In my previous rental room(another house owner)current bill shows around 80 units.But here current bill comes around 160-170 units.No extra electric appliance used.Not even me many people are facing this problem now in haldia.We sure that our house Owner cheats us everyday.

Now give me a legal solution,that would give a good lesson for a wicked house owner.
I gave token advance of 3000 to the house owner in thambaram sanetorium.But i could not occupy the house as i got unexpected transfer.But the house owner is not returning back the money.Its really frustrating to think that people are ready to grab others money

i was reading all complaints .. i feel how wicked owners are and also agents .. i too had a bad experience with owner .. they intentionally keep their own outdated old fashioned furniture's in rented flats so that they can deduct money by showing minor damages ... & even electrical appliances liek geezers ..if elertonic item is not in used for a long time and ofcource it is in that rented house for long period defineltly someday it might wotn work.. after all its old one n many tentants must have used it .. but they will deduct if its not working.

my previous owner did the same she kept cheking each and every thing so minutely as if she planned to deduct and not to refund desposit.

Infact we gave one month notice and 15 days we stayed but she took 30days rent plus she deducted electricity bill of rest 15 days when we have already left her house. And the worst part was she came to verify her house on the day but after verifiying she did not refunded my deposit on same day..took keys from us.. infact giving me lame and stupid reasons that we cannot transfer through online .. & blaming us that you ppl were not ready to accept cheque and keep changing with statements. we don't transfer such big amount .. i was shocked to know that in today's time when bank itself has made it easier by online system .. to save time and still some people ..

these are all tricks by owners
finally i receive my deposit but after deductions . making us wait till a month i receive .

Guys whoever is trying to search for Rent house please keep these in mind
two way communication is very important
written matters a lot
dont be hurry in getting into rent flats
dont enter in rent flat if it has already furnitures in it becasue its trick to collect money from you only in end.
Verify your owner details & agents .. Involve agents in all matters for that he is to take brokerage for thats he's duty.
