Please send your reporter and expose this sophisticated cheater in chennai who harasses tenants by taking money but not returning it. must be hands in gloves with ministers. contact narayan-Mr Narayan-[protected] Dear Sir, A charity NGO which helps blindpeople getting sight has been cheated by a house owner in chennai who has taken rental advance of Rs.3 lakhs through cheque but not returning. The charity paid the money to Mr Ramakrishna Puroshot, Mobile-[protected] and [protected] as advance through bank cheque with a confidence that the agreement will be done later. when the charity went to occupy the house for office, they found the house is not ready as committed and hence have to take another space to start the work. And now this man is not refunding the money to the charity. what can be done to this kind cheaters? As this man is not paying back the staff have to sacrifice the salary to recover the paid amount as it's official money which can not be accounted with out occupying the office. Any help would be appreciated. Are there no safety in chennai for the charities? DEAR SIR/MAM, I SHOBHIT KUMAR SRIVASTAVA TOOK A RENTED HOUSE 2 YEARS BACK IN LAXMINAGAR, DELHI.FROM JAN 2007 TO DEC2007 .OUR LANDLORD TOOK STATED RENT(WITHOUT RENTED AGREEMENT) Rs. 4000/- AND AFTER THAT HE STARTED TAKING ADDITIONAL 500/- IN EACH AND EVERY QUARTER.NOW OUR RENT IS 6000/- AND STILL THIS IS NOT STOPING.OUR LANDLORD IS HAVING SEVEN FLATS AND HE NEVER WANNA GO FOR RENTAL AGREEMENT .HE WAS A RETIRED PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK EMPLOYEE & BCOZ HE DON'T WANT TO GIVE TAX HE IS NOT SHOWING HIS HOUSE PROPERTY.KINDLY TELL US WHAT TO DO?????????

I want to make u aware girls...this is a case of a PG owner who stays at Deccan..near Panchwati gaurav hotel...2nd lane...left turn...(i[censored] happen to visit...)..Her name is Mrs. Sardesai...She's a ...i tell u...While fixing a girl ...she asks for 5000 deposit...after giving it to her...when i called her up after 1 week or so...she asked to give 4 months advance rent i.e. 16, 000...when i asked her that i already deposited 5000...she said thats the advance rent...i asked her for the receipt...but she refused...
She is not keeping her words...n changing her decisions aain n again...!!!
Girls...I want to take appropriate action on this lady owner...She's just making excuses...!!! Please help..!!

Recently, I stayed in a house in 6th Block Koramangala. When I took the flat the owner and his family was always smiling and happy. The name of the owner is Prashanth Reddy (Bldg no 22, 17th A Main, 6th block Kathalipalya). His phone number is [protected]. The owner said then when u leave the house you need to paint the walls of the house.
When I was leaving the house the owner asked me to paint the doors & grills as well. When I said that you didn't said at the time of giving the house he totally disagreed. Finally, I had no option to paint the doors and grills as the owner was not giving the deposit amount. After that also the owner deducted 500/- for electricity bill and 400/- rs for cleaning the room which my painter already cleaned. For giving the deposit cheque the owner made me run after him for 5 days. Everyday he use to come next day at a partilcular time. It was a painful experience for me.
Hence, request you all to please don't take a flat owned by the above mentioned owner and at the mentioned address.

House — Landlord Cheating
How to complaint about my lanlord who is refusing to pay back the Deposit amount back even after vacating the House. Somebody assist me. He is simply dragging us behind him without refunding the Deposit amout which we paid in advance while leasing his house for Rent. My name is Francis i am from Pune, My dad had expired in 1990 and my mother got some money from the government since he was a government employee, that money was given to My cousin an amount of 250000 in 1990, he promised my mother for giving a flat and and my cousin gave his Brother in law who was a builder all that money 250000, that builder showed my cousin a flat which was small, which my cousin didnt take that flat, that builder then told that he will soon start another construction very soon, but noting has started till date 2010, my cousin didnt take any thing in writting or any legal documents from his brother in law since he was in relations and my cousin had trust in him, that the reason he didnt make any legal papers.Now i took that builder to the cops in 2009 and he admitted that he took the money in 1990 the statement was written down by the cop and were signed by both o[censored]s, i told him what about the compound interest or the flat he didnt tell anything, he just gave one cheque of 10thousand and two cheque of 65 thousand in the month of nov 2009 which were bounced but now it is more than 6months i cannot put any case against him, Right now i am staying in my cousin house since 8yrs, he is settled in newzealand, he is telling me to vacant the house, i told him that you give me my house or the money with compound interest because i am poor, my job is not fixed, i am married and have got two small children and my old mother who is 80yrs, my wife is a house wife, i am gone in a great loss please for God Sake Advice me what to do or email me at [protected]@hotmail.com or you can even phone me on [protected].He is threatening me and he will be coming in the month of dec 2010 to do something.Idont know what will be the result in the feature but atleat i will get some more years to stay in that flat.please advice...

Hi,My husband was staying in PG accomdation in Gurgaon in year 2007. The landlord has taken 19,000 as security deposit, but when my husband wa snot comfortable stayin gin that PG, so he vacated teh PG. The landlord never handed over security deposit of 19,000 to my husband. Instead he threatened him saying you can complain anywhere you want but he will not return the money.
Could you please help us get the money back.

i took a rented house on 5 july 2008. since then i was paying my rents and other charges regularly, but there were too many problems in that house i.e. water and electricity problem. now i shifted my house in the month of december 2008. i was telling my owner to make the agreement but he made it after 4 months and that also in local language which i cannot understand. actually rent which i was paying was Rs2700/ but in agreement it was written Rs3000/ without my knowledge. so i didnot sign that. now i shifted to another house. but my owner is not returning the security deposit of Rs 20000/. He is telling openly that you can go and complaint. please advice what legal action i can take against him, will consumer court be helpful.
