[Resolved]  HSBC (The Hongkong And Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited, Bangalore — Non receipt of Original documents of my Property even after Repaid Loan

Sub: Non return of original documents on clearance of loan in respect of loan a/c[protected].HSBC Bank ,Bangalore ,M.G.Road
This is regarding the non receipt of the original documents on repayment of the loan amount in full in respect of my housing loan a/c NO.[protected]. I repaid the amount in full on 01.11.11 vide RTG transfer from my a/c which was credited to my SB a/c with your Bank on the same day. Initially I was told by the HSBC staff at Mysore (right now shifted my family from Bangalore to Mysore) that I would get back the original documents within 10 days which went on extending for 3 days, 4 days, and I am not in receipt of the documents till date. I have been requesting the Bank for the same everyday over phone but they failed to keep up their word.
On 26.11.11, I received a letter NO.CRU NOC/[protected] dt.25.11.11 from Mrs. Kamala Ghosh of Central Retail Asset processing Unit of HSBC , Mumbai branch (Head Office), which says that they would need 5 more days to provide the status of our original documents. There is no question of providing status ,just sending requests over Email only for extension of dates. The documents should be returned to me at once without further delay. The delayed action of the HSBC Bank has highly inconvenienced me . It is unfortunate that a Bank has to search for such a long time, for the documents received as security for a loan. It is unacceptable that the staff have been searching for the documents since 3 weeks. I was also told that the Bank would help us to get the certified copies OR REcration of original documents by email seeking my acceptance,but I cannot accept this as I am planning to dispose off this property and the party I have already found is losing faith in me as I am unable to produce the documents for registration. No buyer will accept the certified copies of documents. The market value of the property will come down to the minimum or there will be total rejection of the property in the market. We have invested our lifetime hard earned money in the property.
I am bringing these facts to your kind notice to take immediate necessary action in this regard to get back my original documents.
I humbly request the consumer forum to help in getting the original documents of my property from the HSBC ,Bank.HSBC ,Bangalore and Mysore branchesare not responding to my requests & shifted the problems to their Mumbai Head office & Chennai branch office .Both mumbai & chennai branch offices are sending email requests .Pl help common man like me in this regard.
