[Resolved] Hul Pureit — Defective Unit and Water Leakage | |
I had purchase PureIT on 25th July 2009 evening 7 p.m. On next day morning i had found the problem of leakage. I had complaint for the problem and told the sales man to replace the unit. But the sales person open the unit and tight the Polisher cap and fix the unit. After that the leakage problem solved but other problem found about Fitting of the Transperent Water storage unit. It is not fit properly. I had complaint daily to change the unit or solve the problem. But no one can handle the problem. Only get message that we had not time because of net Complaint. I want replacement of against these unit. Other wise i am complaint in consumer forum against the HLL. I had Complaint daily to Sales manager Mr. Johnson but it not solved till date Was this information helpful? | |

HUL Pureit — LEAKAGE OF WATER
I have a pureit supplied by HLL. Recently on Monday i.e. on 5.7.2010, i noticed leakage of water from the bottom most unit of the pureit. On 6.7.2010, a complaint was made to the customer care number and it was assured by the call centre executive that their technician would visit within 24 hours to rectify the problem and that we were required to pay Rs.50/- which was agreed to. On 7.7.2010, a person did visit our house to see the problem. On checking the unit, he said that a washer is required to be changed and that the same is not readily available with him. He assured that he would come the next day to replace the same. On 8.7.2010, to our dismay, the person did not visit. So on 8.7.2010, another complaint was made to the customer care. The call centre executive taken another complaint and assured that their technician would come and solve the problem within 24 hours. But no one turned up on 9.7.2010. Again today i.e. on 10.7.2010 I contacted the customer care and my call was attended by one Mr.syed. He again said that he has taken the complaint and within Monday i.e. 12.7.10 evening their technician would come. For replacement of a small washer that too after having complaint about the leakage, the company is taking a time of about one week. With the way their technical service as mentioned above, I am afraid whether on Monday they would come or not.Can the Forum initiate some stern action against the company.
