[Resolved] ICFAI University — Cheated by ICFAI | |
Hi, I chose to pursue my MCA in ICFAI which was the most foolish decision I made. I've payed RS.45000 to the university. I was able to get thru' only one semester out of 8 semesters. They don't define a proper syllabus neither guide the students proeprly. Me and my 10 friends who joined the university suffer the same kind of difficulties. We tried the 2nd semester for 2-3 times but then we are not able to get thru; it. They don't actually allow the students to get thru' the courses. Now I came to know that the High court has issued an order to close the institution and its branches, also that the court has announced that the certificate issued by ICFAI is illegal, it does not have an AICTE approval. So even if we struggle to get the certification it turns to be illegal. Now I'm not sure if we can claim our Rs.45000 back in court. Seeking for suggestion... Was this information helpful? | |

Yes ICFAI is complete fraud univ, and this was truly my foolish step to enroll for BCA course. I am able to complete only one grp I enrolled in year 2008 and after numerous attemps I am not able to pass to grps. I shot a letter to students service and not to any surprise I got a reply that I should study hard and just keep on paying my exam fees which I have stoped now. I think I have been cheated by ICFAI. I dont know whether Govt of India will do some thing or not.

Your concern will be addressed if you visit the Icfai University, Tripura website (www.iutripura.edu.in/ugcapproaval.asp). UGC approved letters are available on the site. Why can’t you contact the university authorities to address your grievances.

Any one know any other distance education institute that may be as good or even better?
