requesting for fee reversal due to job loss I had enrolled for MBA course with ICFAI in 2007 and paid 10,000 rupess cash upfront to the Preet Vihar centre, Academic councellor in charge was Ms.Rathod and councellor was Krishna Shukla who even came to my house to collect post dated cheques for 18 months and convinced me that I would complete the course easily, however after Group A suddenly Icfai changed our syllabus and we students complained to SSD however the decision remained same. From then on I have not received any help from ICFAI regarding completion of my course as my revolt was considered unworthy. The institute from then on stopped helping me in any sphere I faced a problem and started showing partial attitude. I have paid the entire fess of Rs.4323 EMI each month and I stand nowehere. I wrote to them in between that I want to discontinue due to my hectic work schedule but they did not bother to listen to me neither did they offer any alternative to help me understand the subjects and clear my papers. Now I stand jobless for the last 2 years and havebarely any source of income. I really want to claim my fees back as I have no inclination towards the university and have lost faith completely.Please help me as my financial situation is really bad and my health had declined to a great extent as I was bed ridden for atleast 2 months and had to spend heavily on medication. I have all my medical bills to prove that but ICFAI please grant me permission to claim my fees back. Dear Ms. Ria Lahiri,
It is noted that you have sought withdrawal or shift of program on medical grounds and was advised to submit the documents, to take up with the Admissions Committee.
The same were not received till date. As regards other issues, the program prospectus clearly details outline guidelines concerning program and prospective students are expected to familiarize themselves with the contents, thoroughly before submitting the application for admission.
However, as it appears that you are keen to withdraw from the program, you are advised to represent the same to SSD for withdrawal.
