[Resolved]  ICICI Bank Ltd — Bank Charges

We are having a current account in ICICI bank bearing account no.[protected] in the name of “ TDH OVERSEAS PRIVATE LIMITED” . We have opened this account through your official Mr. Sunil Kumar( Contact no. [protected]) 3-4 months back.

After the account got opened, I got a service call from your Mumbai office that the quaterly minimum balance maintenance is Rs.500, 000/- ( In words : Five lacs only) . I was very surprised because at the time of opening account I was informed that the minimum maintenance of balance would be just Rs. 10, 000/- . I then came to know through them that I have to fill up a Variance form for lower maintenance balance.

We then contacted Mr. Sunil Kumar about the same and got to know that it was a mistake in processing the documents but the same could be rectified by just filling up a form “ Variance form”. The same was filled again through Mr. Sunil Kumar very next day of your service call from Mumbai branch.

Now our account has been charged with Rs. 3932.60( In words : Three thousand nine hundred thirty two and paisa sixty only) on[protected] for non maintenance of quarterly minimum balance. After I got to know that the said amount has been debited from my account I again called up Mr. Sunil Kumar and got to know that the variance form was processed at the same time but could be fault of your operation department.

I just wanted to know that why my account is being charged if your officials are repeating the mistakes.
