[Resolved]  IFB Appliances — Bad & Monopolistic Services of IFB India

I had registered a service request for my Elena w/m no 3287298 dtd 22/07/2009. After that I have called 25 times even to their Service Manager Mr Jain also but nobody from their side botherred to call back me. There is no action from their end and the call centre executives including their senior Mr Srinivas advise to scrap the machine and buy a new one instead saying the company is not at all interested in serving old brands.

My Nephew had purchased an IFB Washing Machine model Digital-Ex but ever since he is facing problems, every now and tthen the machine does not work.The service is provided only after innumerable calls and
pain.He has even made a contract on 1/4/09 which will last till 31/3/11 but still he has to make umpteen
calls for service.He is truly disgusted and angry for choosing the IFB Machine.
On the catologue he was given some Numbers to call for assistance but to no avail, they are,
Mr.Nitish Jain----[protected] and Mr.Baari----[protected], these both never receive calls and then he has
to call at IFB call centers.Please provide with proper and quality help.
I do agree, IFB services are very poor, only thing customer help does is giving mobile numbers which never get picked by any one.

I logged a case on 1st aug 3326608 and till 21st aug, with lot of follow up I am not able to get this machine in working.

I have purchased new washing machine dated 14/08/09, bearing bill nos CCR-325, MODEL NOS AW-60-8062
from the dealer Shyamlal krishanlal located in new delhi and requested for the demo and finally got the demo from one of your engineers dated 17/08/09.While in demo there is some sound while mechine doing the spinning and washing process and asked the same to your engineers and he told me that surface is not balance and thats the reason, machine making sound.

The next day while making the washing, I have the same problem, after fixing the adjustment problem, and machine do not able to perform the spinning function and make a sound and I have reported the same at your call center on 20/08/09 and spoken to Pooja and make her aware about the problem and she has given the complaint nos as

3394772, dated 20/08/09

and on the same day one technical engineers, Mr Sameer visited my place to check the machine and conveyed to the seniors via the phone, that there is a fault in machine and making sound while spinning and stops suddenly.He has also tried to resolve the problem via over the phone but failed.

From the starting, I have collected the product from the dealer godown located in Naraina, New Delhi, and not even tested the machine and when your demo person came he reporetd me that rat protection cover is missing, which I have already Informed to the dealer as well as your Customer Care on the same day(17/08/09), but there is no help from your end.

Taking view of the problem I request you to please replace the macine with the new one asap, other wise I have to resort to some legal procedures.

Today on 21/08/09, two of your technical engineers visited my place and one of them is I identified is Mr.Sameer, has already checked the machine and it was showing the same problem and they finally told me that there is short in motor and thats why its not working properly while doing the spinning and washing which results in sound making.

They simply tried to unscrew the whole machine to replace the motor, from where onwards I resisted them to open the machine saying that I am not satisfied the demo part and not even signed for satisfaction confirmation, and finally I need the machine to be replaced with new one.

Sorry to say that your customer support is pathetic and they are simply dummies whose job only confined to attend stomer call and doing nothing.For the past 4-5 days I havent received any call from your end regarding my grievances.

Last and important point, I want my machine to be replaced asap which I have already informed to dealer.or other wise I have to take legal action against you people.

In the meantime, I have already in conmtact with the dealer, who told me that the machine will be replaced in next 3 days.(Ref: Mr Dinesh)
Just Pathetic and no one should be buying IFB products. Just tell your friends and relatives not to go for IFB product!!!
Use power of internet and teach lesson to these senior offices of the company!!!
i completely agree...i go through agony everytime there is a problem with my machines...have a dryer too. Their after sales service is as good as not! My next appliances will be anything 'but' IFB!!

I bought an IFB washing machineJune 2008. It just doesn't work and breaks down every few days. It has been repaired more than 15 times in past 4 months. Pathetic, frustrating experience I had. I do not understand why can't this company stop selling machines they can't make.
I too purchased IFB Elena Washing mechine last week. Sofar nobody attend for installation. I requested them several time. Now I don't know what to do

I have purchased IFB microwave oven on November 2004, within one year the central panel got some problem, and again after one year, its still not working. Iam not at all satisfied with IFB microwave.
We own a digital full automatic IFB washing machine & have an AMC also. The machine is sparingly used since the time we had purchased. It has been used probably 20-30 times in last two yrs as machine has been consistently out of order. It has been in no use since last 5 months or so. I have complained at least 5-6 times at IFB customer care. After numerous complaints a technician named Amarinder Singh came. He told us there is a problem in display panel & it need to be replaced. He said he would have to get the new part issued from company & would come again to replace it. After repeated calls & follow ups, he came & said the company does not have a new display panel in stock, so he replaced our machine with an old panel which he promised to replace with a new panel once it comes in stock. We agreed. This display panel did not work even for two days. Since then we have repeatedly calling the technician to set our machine right but he always tells us that display panel is not in company’s stock. I had requested customer care representative to send us some other technician but to no avail. Now when I again followed up with Amarinder, he started demanding money so as to speed up the process. We never expected IFB to only have one single technician who would harass the client to this extent. We are really troubled & disappointed with machine as well as services IFB is providing.

I have purchased fully automatic washing machine model 6563 through your local dealer New Berco Electronic, Dwarka Sector-6, New Delhi vide invoice no 4804 dtd 16-11-09.It is pity to say that after 3 months the spinning washing drum have gone out of order .Due to guarantee period the same has been replaced by your authorized service franchisee Off Beat Service after taking lots of pain like making lots of telephone calls to local and Kolkata office, visiting dealer’s office every day basis .After few days the PCB have gone out of order which has been replace by above franchisee after 25 days from the date of complain, same breaking our head .Again after a week the same PCB gone out of order and I lodged complain on 9-9-10 vide complain no 5073820 but it is sorry to say that 12 days have been elapsed but still the above franchisee never bother to replace the PCB . Being repeated reminder over phone everyday I contacted customer care service and they daily assured me that the same will be attended today and that today will never come . Apart from this I tried to contact work manager Ms.Pallavi but every time her mobile ringing but she never bother to lift her mobile and same thing happened with Sandeep Sharma.
In this I fed up and nothing attraction but so approach you for justice .Your company is highly reputed and for which I prepared to purchase aforesaid washing machine but now I say that my thinking was totally wrong .I would have gone for Samsung or other brand which is far better then IFB.
In the above circumstances I request you to exchange this machine to another one to get rid of harassment .If you unable to take action immediately then I have no other alteration but to knocking the door of consumer forum for justice and will flash it in media .

I have been unbsing IFB appliance - Washing Machine for last 12 yrs, have never faced problem in service as we were in Chennai & Maharatshtra.
Since last three years we are in Gurgaon and must say that the Service is Pathetic to the core.
I also have a Dishwasher, and also an ACTIVE AMC for both, but Personally would never recomend IFB brand to anyone.

I completely agree with your views about the IFB stupid product range.anyone buying these would be the moooost s...d person.These people are eager to give the demo just to sell their products and then they behave as if they are the smartest.i registered a complaint regarding my washing machine (which is well under warranty and already a pain in the neck) on 11/1/2011.they promised to get it rectified within 24hrs.but its been 7 days but no one has bothered to call me forget about visiting .my complaint no is 5720323
i totaly agree with all the complaints by the helpless and distorted customers of ifb. all the complaints are unheard an fall into deaf ears just to satisfy there customer they have made this website but i am very sure it is not reaching them directly or else why would the company of this calibre do not take action against there service provider i live in mumbai and have ifb w/m str 6kg with warrenty i have logged a complaint on 29/09/11 and still waiting for there technician to come over to check my product every time i call neo services either the call is unattended or a silly excuse is given. i am very disappointed and sad to buy this kind of product pl[protected]se do[protected]not buy IFB PRODUCTS ANYMORE. Very poor service in Delhi. complaint # : 8456986 & 8523763. I lodged a complaint on 12th March 2012. IFB engineer came on 14th and announced that the magnetron of my oven has to be replaced. I am completely agreed about very very poor service of IFB product I request to give us common plateform on FACE book to post our complaint.

Since March 31 I am loding complaint on differnt plate form & speak to Mr. Vijay & Sharda IN Delhi Service centre but they do not care.
More than 10 years I am using IFB product, now Since last 2 year I am facing this problem.

Now I am thinking this problem to post on face book & lodge the case in consumer court
