there ans. is still same as 15 days .

what will do. wht about the interest.??

I have filed the IT RETURNS for the financial year[protected] and had to get a refund of Rs 7000 and when I was filing the returns I was told I would get refund in April 2009 but till date I have not recevied any refund.

Ahaaahaaaa...What a wonderful Department - Income Tax Department.

I have Depositted my Income Tax Return for the Assessment Year 2008-09 on 29th July 2008 with Income Tax Officer, Ward No. 2(3), Range Code 52, Faridabad, acknowledgement no. 005344 claiming a Refund of Rs. 4944/-. This was followed by letter dated 16.04.2009, but though a period of about 14 months has lapsed no refund has been made so far. Will the esteemed Department would look into it and expedite the refund.

Again an Income Tax Return for the Assessment 2009-10has been deposited with the said authority (Income Tax Officer, Ward No. 2(3)Faridabad on 6th July 2009 vide acknowledgement no. 001972 claiming a refund of Rs. 4822/-, but the same is still pending with them. In this case also, till date no refund has ben made.

Will the concerned authority will expedite the refundin both the cases.

I had filed income tax return on 30.07.2009. My name is Satyendra Kumar. The assessment year was 2008-09. My pan number is BFAPS6102K. I am a serving person The acknowledgement number is [protected] An amount of Rs. 612 was to be refunded to me and to be credited to my savings bank account no. [protected] of Axis Bank, MoD Extn Counter, New Delhi. The return was filed in Gaziabad(UP) I have not yet received my refund. You are requested to kindly look into the matter.

It is problem persisting from long time. Many upgradation had been done in IT Deptt but the mindset/ bodylanguage of staff of the Deptt not changed yet. It is not upto the CBDT to act fast because huge financial loss occured due to delay in payment of refund in shape of intt to the deptt.

I completely agree with the conclusion. I never got my refund without ouside support in my life whether the refund was Rs.500 or 25000. But despite appeals on the available forums nobody has so far bee able to suggest the ways to know even the status of your refund. From the complaints of itpayers on the net I feel that worst unheard person is income tax payer. People are seeking refund of their income tax as back as 2005 or even earlier. The Income Tax Deptt. is so immune to human miseries that even the retired employees who are no more earners are not being given any consideration. I am my self a victim. I retired in May 2007 and am seeking refind of Rs.25000 which was tobe given back by IT Deptt on a/c of excess it deducted by deptt. but there is no sign what is in store for me. As one can imagine the fate of a retired person who does not have any other source of income how he will manage his family their well being, illness, marriage etc. Is their any body listening?

whether any action has been taken on the complaints which are mentioned in this foroum?????or simply writing for self satisfaction

I would like to bring to your notice that refund of income tax has not been done for the assessment years 2009 -10

I, Mr DEEPAK SWARN(PAN No. AZHPS4347L) have filed my returns on 20.09.2009, ITO ward no.7(3) at vadodara.

The refund of taxes which have not been done is as follows;

1. 2009-10 Rs.5620/-

Even i am continiously in touch with Income tax persons regarding this and i have submitted enough documents as required by them from Bank also. As income tax persons are saying that "the tax which i paid is not credited in NSDL" .
now they are saying there system from DELHI is not working.
Kindly tell me where is the fault of ordinay person who is paying Income Tax and waiting for number of years for refund if any.

Refunds of income tax were regularly received here at my residential address B-403,SUMADHUR-II
Apartments,Near Vastrapur Telephone Exchange,P.O.Ambawadi Vistar,Ahmedabad 380015 upto2008-09,furnished in the relative income tax return.
As usual this very residential address is given in my income tax return for the year 2009-10 but I am pained to observe that SBI Contact Centre,whom the job of refund been outsourced to,have sent the refund cheque to my Lucknow address where I was staying during the srevice more than a decade ago.After retirement I am settled here since 2004 at the aforesaid address.
In the circumstances the refund cheque in question has been returned undelivered to the SBI Contact Centre on 6th April 2010 and is lying with them.
I shall be glad if you kindly instruct the SBI Contact Centre to remit the refund cheque to me at my above residential address at the earliest.

DEAR SIR,

I AM A SENIOR CITIZEN HAVING PAN NO. AAOPG6202E AND filling annual return regularly, always in time.

In FY 2009-10, my TDS details are available in FORM 26AS but central Processing Center, Bangalore had not given me TAX CREDIT of TDS in assessment order.

In this regard, I had send the reminder on 19/11/2010 by sped post to center with printout of 26AS and TDS certificate.

I regret to say that neither I have received the refund nor any reply from there.

I request you, please check the above matter and issue the cheque of refund with fresh order.

If this matter is not operated by your department, please give me reference for concern department/ cell.
