Mini Gas indane agency at Kundara, Kollam District, Kerala is harassing customers for a long time now. They are repeatedly making delay in supplying refill to their customers. The staffs posted there have been behaving to the customers rudely. They are reluctant to pick the phone up too.
For the past few refills, they provided to us with out delay. one week before when we contacted them for another refill, they said they will not provide gas unless not booked. When we ask for booking, they said we have to wait one more week for our refill to be booked. Now that we have finished with both our cylinders. They says it may take a few weeks more before our refill be delivered also they didn't give us a booking number too.
We are having trouble with this agency for a long time now. The customers with other agencies like Bharatgas in the nearby areas don't have trouble in getting their refills.
Kindly take necessary action to get refills provided regularly and do the needful that the staffs the agency appointed behave to the customers decently.

They are not picking up the phone. I am continously trying for one and half an hour

We have also had difficulty with them - not picking up the phone, non-delivery for months post booking, etc... Almost seems like there is a gestation period before a booking converts to delivery!
They are not picking up the phone. I am continously trying for one and half an hour.Any online booking facility, if not pls provide it.

    Hi,

    I have booked for the second cylinder from Indane Gas on Aug 2006. Their office is in Kadugudi, Bangalore .My consumer number is D13649
    Whenever I called them, they are telling you have to wait. Even I met them personally in their office. But still no positive response from them. They are not behaving properly also.

    Can somebody suggest whom should I contact in this case.

    Is there any consumer forum where I can place a complaint.

    Please help me.

    I have booked cylinder from Indane Gas on 03.03.2010. Their office is in Poothkalan, New Delhi as Name-Goodvill Gas Agency. My consumer number is T-3038
    Whenever I called them, they are telling you have to wait. Even I met them personally in their office. But still no positive response from them. They are not behaving properly also.Today on 11.03.2010, It has 8th day pass, but They did not delever the cylinder yet.

    Can somebody suggest whom should I contact in this case.

    Is there any consumer forum where I can place a complaint.

      Dear Sir,
      I had approached M/S Anuj Indane, Saffron Towers, Fatehgunj, Vadodara, on 18-03-08, and subsequently on 19-03-08, for a new connection of Indane Domestic (14.2 Kg) Gas Cylinder. They say that it will cost me around Rs 4700/- for a single cylinder connection. When I asked them that how they are charging so much when the same costs around Rs 2500/- or so. There reply was that you will have to take Gas Stove, Regulator, Gas tubing, and Gas stove lighter along with this connection and hence the price is so much. In the same premises it was displayed that it is not mandatory to take Gas stove along with the gas connection. When I pointed out the same to them then they asked me to talk to their boss "Mr Anupam Gupta". I asked Mr Gupta about this and also my inability to buy a new gas stove as just three months back I have bought a new gas stove. He said that its Indane company's policy's that a customer who has to take a new connection has to buy a gas stove along with it. On my asking about Company's Concered Person's name and address with whom I can file my complaint against this malpractice, he told me to approach Area Sales Manager of Indane who sits at Apna Market, Alkapuri, Vadodara.
      Now as per the Indane company's policy, I will again have to spend money on the Gas Stove, Gas tubing and Gas lighter which I have already got and that too only 3 months old.
      My anguish is that when it is not mandatory for the consumers to buy the above mentioned articles along with the new gas connection then how such a big company (Indian Oil Corporation)(Fortune 500) can force its customers for the same?
      This is full violation of the law.
      With this I asks India Consumer Complaints Forum to please give me their full support
      (1)against such blackmarketing and illegal trade practices followed by none other then Government Companies and
      (2)also help me in getting Gas Cylinder Connection through proper channel and without any improper boundations.
      I hope soon necessary action will be taken by the authorities against such type of illegal trade practices and also punish the people who are involved in this.

      Hello Himanshu and all,

      Same case with me, this time with HP. I have not checked policies yet, but it is ridiculous to sell me the stove for a new gas connection, already I have two. If I find free time, I am also planning to take legal path to see how far this can go. In karnataka they have the rules that you need to have a ration card. After two years of effort I got it. Now, I go there and they ask me to buy a stove, otherwise they won't issue connection. Atleast if they ask some bribe or party fund or some donation (not as much as the cost of stove), it may be okay, in Indian context :+) which I might pay. But why buy stove?

      PROBLEM IN CONVERTING SINGLE CYLINDER CONNECTION TO DOUBLE.
      I am komal from indri, karnal 132041.customer of indane gas. I have taken single gas connection of indane gas, but it is difficult to manage with single cylinder so i tried to get one more cylinder to gei uniterrupted service, but from last one year i am asking from distributor he is not responding properly.
      Please me what is the procedure.

        IT IS ALMOST MORE THAN 15 DAYS THAT CYLINDER IS BOOKED WITH THE AGENCY M/S SUBH LAXMI OF BOPAL, AHMEDABAD. BUT DELIVERY IS NOT DONE TILL DATE. NO BODY IS PICKING THE PONE CALLS, EVEN THEY PUT THE PHONE ON BUSY. FOR THE LAST 5 DAYS WE ARE FORCED TO TAKE FOOD FROM THE HOTEL.

          Dear Sir,

          I stay in buxar in bihar. I would like to know is it neccessary to take the gas chula with the cylinder while taking new connection as the agency here is saying that its compulsary to take the chula(burner) and charging Rs 1500 where as the same is available in market just for Rs 500.

          I would like to know is it as per the terms of indane that we have to take the whole kit with the cylinder or i can take only cylinder with new connection.

          As i feel this agency is make huge profit from it in our area and compelling people to take the same.

          Your prompt reply will be highly appreciated so that we can take action against this agency.

            I am Ramdhiraj resident of b-3/410, s.puri, delhi-110086.I am customer of indian oil corp. since last ten years.I have been demanded ID proof of myself to get the lpg gas cylinder since last six months. If this is true please let me know the details which documents are to be submitted and where.I am a customer of goodwill gas agency situated at p-31, krishan vihar near s.puri terminal, my customer no: is T-326.I would like to know the details whether in your records my gasbook is cancelled or the authorities of goodwill gas agency are doing blackmarketing for my lpg cylinder.Is this the circular issued by the indian oil corporation to get the id proof submitted by all the customers at all of your gas agencies.

            indian oil corporation ltd./cooking gas cylinder — no supply of lpg cylinder since last six months

            I am Ramdhiraj resident of b-3/410, s.puri, delhi-110086.I am customer of indian oil corp. since last ten years.I have been demanded ID proof of myself to get the lpg gas cylinder since last six months. If this is true please let me know the details.
            Is there any circular issued to all the distributors of indane cooking gas to get the id proof submitted by the customers
            or the distributors itself are blackmarketing the cooking gas cylinder of my quota.My distributor company is goodwill gas agency located in krishan vihar, delhi and my customer no. is
            T326.I have already filed a complaint against them two days ago,
            but I have not got any response of my complaint application.

            Sub. : Irregularities in home-delivery of gas cylinder.

            Dear Sir,

            I beg to state that I am consumer of Domestic gas cylinder of IOCL. My consumer no. is KG-3348 which is alloted through Krishna Gas Agency, Gadarwara, District Narsinghpur.

            In this connection, I am very much pained to inform you that home-delivery of this agency is very-very poor. As my booking No. 2788 dtd. 11.01.2010 but deeply regret to inform you that Gas – Cylinder has not reached uptil now after many telephonic request & reminders. You will be surprised to know that my both Gas – Cylinder are empty now.

            In addition to above, after every booking, gas-delivery was made only after instruction of your Jabalpur Office upon my telephonic complaint to your office. Please let me know that how long shall I continue to be in contact with your Jabalpur Office. Since I have DBC connection, it is very painful & uphill task for us to procure the gas cylinder timely. You are requested to instruct Krishna Gas Agency, Gadarwara to deliver both the cylinders filled at a time as both cylinder get exhausted very often in view of irregular delivery even after may reminders.

            Kindly instruct Krishna Gas Agency to give delivery within a week without delay & any reminders. Furthermore, this is not the problem of one man but this created problem is related with all Gadarwara consumers.

            Finally, I request you to take action against Krishna Gas Agency Gadarwara so that we can get regular & fast home-delivery within a week.

            Dear Sirs,

            I booked Cooking Gas Cylinder with the local Agency Jaybee Gas Agency, Angadi PO, Ranni, Pathanamthitta Dist on 1st Feb 2017 against my Consumer No JB 4003.

            25th Feb 2017

            On 1st Feb 2017 I booked Gas Cylinder with Jaybee Gas Agency, Angadi PO, Ranni, Pathanamthitta Dist, Kerala against my Consumer No JB 4003. Last cylinder supplied to me was on 27 Dec 2016.

            On 1st Feb 17 I received a message that Cash Memo No [protected] for Rs 678.50 is generated against booking reference No 382428 and that the Cylinder will be delivered shortly.

            With this agency every time, one has to do several personal follow up to get the cylinder delivered. This time also I did several personal follow ups but till this time they have not delivered the cylinder to me. Today I even approached them for personally collecting the cylinder from their godown but they refused.

            They are unable to give a definite date about the delivery of the cylinder. I therefore suspect that, your Agent is either inefficient or they are diverting the Cylinders in their interest.

            I am a senior citizen and request your immediate intervention to set up a system whereby the Agency carry out their responsibility efficiently in the best interest of customers.

              I called a lot more time to ravi gas enterprises kakadeo kanpur but there is no any response it coninues till 3 day. both the no. were busy. when i went personally the don't booked and doing misbehave. plz do an appropriate action my customer id is 43410
              I stay at Sarita Vihar, New Delhi and our Indane Gas Agency is Veena Gas Agency. It is extremely difficult to book gas on telephone, as they keep the phone off-hook for the whole day and exactly at 5:30 PM they re-connect the telephone, but after 5:30 PM the phone rings but nobody picks up. I then booked the gas through Indane Gas on-line booking facility by dialing 1260. But it is an eye wash only. Gas is neither booked nor delivered, though they will give you a booking number but nothing about the status. The whole system is a farce. They are just the customers. The General Manager Customer Care should be questioned what for he is holding the post, just to take the salary every month and enjoy with his family.

                  Dear Sir,

                  My Consumer No.is 31863 at Uday Gas Agency, Naroda Patia, Ahmedabad. Evetytime, Morethan 45 days, they will deliver the Gas refill to me. They has delivered me the Gas refill on 22.01.2008 & thenafter I have booked refill around 04.03.2008 but till today (i.e.on 14.03.2008) nothing has been done from their side. I am tired with this Agency. Kindly advise where to complaint for this?

                  Indane Gas — To Refilling the GAS CYLINDER

                  I have book my cylinder on 31/03/08 but I am not received cylinder till now. Three times I have gone to booking office to refill my cylinder every time they told me that today it will be delivered. Till now I con not get solution of my problem. Last time I received my cylinder after 28 days. Now I am suffering for refill my cylinder.

                  Please consider my case and provide me solution of my problem.

                  Indane Gas Cylinder — Delayed delivery

                  I booked my gas cylinder on 11.11.2008 but till date have not got the delievery of the same from Secular Gas Service, Sector 11, Panchkula. I have been informed today that it will take another two to three days to get the cylinder.

                  I am fed up with their service, first to book and then to get it. Can you kindly inform why is there such a delay and poor service.

                  Please note that the excuse for delayed delievery always that they give is that no body was at home when the delievery man visited, which is not a fact.

                  Indane Gas — Late delivery of refill cylinder

                  Dear Sir,

                  I am consumer of Indane gas in Ghazianbad since 2004. The name of gas agency is RAJ GAS Service, Shatrinagar, Ghaziabad-201002. Since last one year I am not getting refil on time. I get cylinder after 15 days from date of Booking.This is regular practice of onwer of gas agncy. Recently, I hav booked for gas on 29th Nov.2008. Today 6th of Decmber, I did not received gas. When I called to the agency, the resonse was the cylider will be delivered after 15 days. Onwer of gas agency selling the cylinder Rs.600 in black for vehivl purpose. Is any authority to check the distribution system of this agency please ?
                  Arvind Gas Agency, Sec 10 Bhilai is our indane agency. The problem with me is every time after booking it takes 10-15 days for delivery. Once delivered I can book only after 21 days. Therefore practically I get a gas refil after app. 35 days, whereas govt. rule is 21 days. Why the gap.
                  In the instant case I have booked on 2nd March and today it is 14th Mar and I have still to wait for three more days they say. Can I get justice? My consumer No. is 10942

                  I HAVE GAS CONNECTION FROM RAGHU GAS AGENCY, KHANDSA ROAD, GURGAON.
                  THEY DELIEVERED CYLINDER AFTER 1.5 TO 2 MONTHS EVERY MONTH FROM LAST 3 YEARS.
                  AFTER 20 DAYS BOOKING HE DO NOT SEND CYL. AFTER 1.5 TO 2 MONTHS. AFTER CONTINOUS CALL. THEY ALSO DID NOT ATTEND PHONE .I ALWAYS PURCHASE CYL. IN RS. 600 FROM UN AUTHORISED SHOP TO FULFILL MY NEED BECAUSE MY CYL. GET EMPTY AFTER ONE MONTH .THEY SELL CYL.TO UNAUTHORISED SHOPKEEPER. IN BLACK THE COST OF CYL. IS 500 TO 600.

                  Indane Gas — Late delivery of refilled cylinder

                  November 26, 2009

                  Dear Sir/Madam


                  I am writing this to bring to your kind notice that the Vandana Enterprises, A-46,Ring Road Market,Rajouri Garden New Delhi, distributor of Indane Gas Refill Cylinder is not fulfilling the requirements of the consumers well in time and creating the bad image of the company. We are facing problems for the last six months when we refused to pay extra money demanded by the delivery boy and getting our refilled cylinders after so many reminders.

                  Last month, I made an LPG booking on 12th October 2009 for refilling cylinder and assured that the delivery will reach us within two three day. But after repeated phone calls, we got the delivery after twelve days i.e. on 24 October 2009 without any receipt. When we complained to the Agency that their delivery boy has not given us any receipt, the booking clerk rudely replied, “Aapko Parchi ka kya karna hai, cylinder to pahunch gaya na”. This month also I made the booking on 17th Novermber’09 (Booking No. 4281) and told that within 3-4 days the cylinder will reach us but till date we didn’t get the same. Let me mention that initially we opted for delivery of Cylinder on Saturdays and Sundays. But Sunday being holiday of the Agency, we requested them to change our preference to any day delivery. But till date neither they have considered our request for any day delivery nor they deliver the cylinder on Saturdays. From Monday I am regularly phoning to the agency, but booking clerk Mr. Juneja reply rudely and not giving any satisfactory answer when we will receive the cylinder. The general behaviour of the staff of the agency is very rude to the consumers.

                  I may mention here that, they have been distributing cylinders to the caterers, hotels etc. on high charges on regular basis causing shortage to the domestic consumers of the area.

                  No doubt, IOC is a World Class Energy Company known for caring and delighting the customers with innovative services across domestic and international markets. But due to the some greedy distributors like the above, ruining the brand image of the company in this globally competitive environment.

                  I need immediate positive action in this matter to resolve the gas shortage issue.

                  the refill cylinder was booked on 12th jan 2010 with Golden Gas Service, shop no.233, Palam Vyapar Kendra, Palam Vihar, Gurgaon 122017 (haryana) but inspite of constant follow up, refill cylinder was delivered to us on 20th Jan 2010.

                  The other problem with this dealer of Indane is that their phones are always unaccissable.

                  I have Indane cooking gas connection with consumer no 50167 dated 12 01 2010. The cooking gas is being supplied by Sri Saila Gas Service, Miyapur, Hyderabad 500049. The customer code is 125496. It is extending good service like providing SMS for booking the gas.But the gas company is not supplying the gas cylinder to my residence. I have to go the establishment with my pass book and take a delivery voucher from the gas service and from there I have to go to the go-down of the gas service (distance approximately 2km) to take delivery of my gas cylinder.All this time I have to carry empty cylinder with me. I have to pay Rs100/- for the auto for all the exercise. This is an additional burden to me. On the other hand it is dangerous to carry the filled cylinder in the auto.Auto drivers do not agree to carry filled gas cylinders unless I pay extra bucks to them. Please instruct the gas company to supply the cylinder to my residence.

                  Dear Sir,

                  I am a consumer of Indian Gas and i am a client of its authorized distributor namely Lipi Gas Service which is located in Sambalpur Orissa. I have an double cylinder connection for the last 17 years. Sir although i have double cylinder connection it is very hard on my part to get one refilled cylinder per month. The dealer is playing games not only with me but also with other customers by stating new rules each time we visit the shop. Kindly state me In which of the company it directed the customer that we can go for booking for refilled cylinder after 15 Days of previous refilled cylinder delivery? Then after another 15 days of booking date delivery will be given, all this accumulate to 30 days then what is the meaning of having double cylinder?. I have booked for refilled cylinder on 02.10.10 but till today (i.e. 24.02.10) i am yet to receive the refilled one and it is getting very difficult on my part to manage family. In my town illegal Cylinder of Indian Gas is freely available in market for Rs.550/- and how this is available in black market but not for authentic customer? there is a nexus of black marketers and dealers which has to be dealt with seriously as 99 out 100 black cylinder is of Indian Gas company. so i request you to kindly look into the matter and take appropriate action which will help the innocent, law biding citizen get harassed.

                  I hereby express my grievance to solved this immediately and implement some arrangement to get the gas booking done. As the agency is not giving any heed to this & just behaving scapegoat by giving laming excuses.

                    Sir,
                    I H.S.Moundekar continiosly going to Usha Indane, Sakoli for taking a new Gas Connection from 1st January 2008. But every time the workers of the gas agency said that we have not any receipt book(Vouchar book for using a new connection) so we can not giving a new connection. The company (Usha Indane, Sakoli) said that, we have already indent for receipt book to our Nagpur office but they not send to us. Even now the company not picking the phone, every time his phone is dead.

                    Please arrange to resolve the matter as early as possible, so i will be receive the new gas connection.

                      we called up distributor many times but failed to contact because everytime or always phones are busy and not responding or they hang up the receiver always. after that we have to contact them personally for any purpose but they are not responding to us .

                          My customer no is 22536 with Venkat sai Gas agency, Madhapur. Had not been able to book the lpg cylinder with the above agency of indane, since at least last month. I'm running out of fuel, and am not able to book a refill. this is a persistant issue with this service provider. Every time we face this.                           INDANE LPG Cylinder — INABILITY TO BOOK REFILL OVER TELEPHONE

                          Dear Sir,
                          I was allotted Sr. No. LPG 11511 to my complaint dated 04/09/08 and that was all. No follow-up appears to have been done after that.
                          I could book a refill on 05/09/08, over telephone & was asked to wait for 8-10 days. In order to remind M/s Kandhari Gas, Rohini, Delhi, I was lucky enough to have telephonic link today after three days. To my surprise I was told, delivery will take another 8-10 days.
                          It generally happens because no booking number is advised and it appears that the card is kept back without executing the delivery.
                          It is requested that M/s Kandhari Gas, Rohini, be instructed to :--

                          A) attend the telephone calls sincerely,
                          B) advise a refill booking serial number in future,
                          C) and now, arrange to deliver the cylinder booked on 05/09/08, after 16 days.

                          My customer number is 23739. I booked the gas on 27th Sep 08 but till date I have not received the Gas cylinder. The worst part is that whenever the phone is picked (in case you are lucky they will pick the phone, otherwise it is kept off the hook), they keep telling the gas will come tomorrow.
                          Extremely poor service from this agency. They have never picked up their phone for the last six months.On going in person and complaining about this ...still they dont agree that they dont pick up the phone. I booked a cylinder on 24 th Sept in person and they said it will be delivered in a weeks time but it came after two weeks when nobody was home.With this the delivery man has literally pasted a slip on our front wall making it ugly. Have been trying to contact them again but seems to be of no use.
                          I absolutely agree with all the above comments. It is extremely irritating to keep trying the phone all the while. Very poor service. The agency seems to be exercising its monopoly.
                          I agree with all the others that have complained about this pathetic agency. I booked a refill on 17th jan 09 and was assured that i will get same day delivery as ours is a commercial cylinder, but it has been 4 days and no cylinder till date. if and when somebody answers(after trying continuously for atleast 1 hour), the person says "bus ladke ko abhi bhejta hoon". There is no use going to the agency personally as the reply will be same. I do not have a spare cylinder so, I have been cooking my meals in microwave.
                          this chap is worst of all. They just keep the phone off hook to make sure u never able to place order. They sell cylinders in black market. What action Indane gas agency is doing to prevent such callousness from this guy?

                          my self Shish Yadav I'm Trying for last 7 days to book the gas but the Agency seems to have deliberately put their all the telephone nos bysy.                           Thi gas agency is one of the worst agency i have seen. They never take calls. They are selling the cylinders in black market. And the agency location is in some junk place.                           I booked for refilling cylinder 10 days back. I was told that it will be delivered in 5 days (Saturday). Today is Tuesday and I haven't received it yet. I am trying to call them from last two days. But both the numbers[protected],[protected] seems to be busy always. I tried more than 100 times. It seems that these phones are deliberately kept in that way so as to not receive any calls. This problem is not new. It happens alwyas. We have to keep on trying for more than 100 times to get the cylinder refilled. The service is very poor.

                          Is there anyone who is tracking and taking actions on these complains? If so, please let us know what action is been taken.

                          Due to change of residence I have shifted my connection to this agency. While transferring connection I asked them is they take bookings by phone, they said they did.ever since then I have been trying to call them on phone but the phone is forever busy.                           Indian Oil - gas agency — Ugly treatment of consumers

                          Dear sir,

                          This is a complaint against Indian oil gas agency M V Enterprises, Avadi, Chennai 600054. The working of this agency is fully focussed to arogance, corruption and harrasment of consumers to the core. For booking of gas cylinder, phone calls are never picked up, rarely when we they pick up they give the std reply of two days and in case we raise a question the phone call is disconected. On visiting in person we find minor children playing with the telephone and the concerned ladies chating. Booking has to be done in person only, but the cylinders are never delivered to us in time, in turn it is sold out side for their own personal gains. Cylinder is always available in black in abandaunt. Where as follow up through phone call is only a waste of time. Even after 10 to 15 days of follow up the std reply is 2 days. In order to speak in the following numbers 26556515, 26555865 and 26551554 one has to spend not less than 2 -3 hours. Hope some solution would be found to this serious problem of consumers of this town.

                          My sincere advice is not to go for Indane especially in Hyderabad. I am fed up with trying booking, went in person wasting my half day leave, SMSed many times, Called up several hundred times still my booking is not done. I have decided to throw away the cylinders as its empty for almost 2 and a half months now.

                          I have faced similar issues ..more then one time..they dont pick cal and if they do they tel that it will come in week and after two weeks also they didnt appear, we are out of feul .There auto distributor too is very rude and does not wait for 5 mins, our maid was at home when they came and he called us .we were just 3-4 mins walk from home..but he took his cylinder walked and didnt even bother to come back.
                          is there anyone who is looking into there complaints ??

                          Whenver we try to book th gas, the phone is always busy for full day. Everytime we need ot go to the agency and book this. There is no proper response to any query. Also we have applied for one more cylinder some 3 months back and till now there is no status update.

                            I also face same problem with them ... and they are not give proper answer and even we are in rush...

                            last month i logged a call for new cylinder on 28th by phone call march i had been waiting for new cylinder but i went directly thier office for my case what happen why still i don't get.. thier answer was no ur not booked then i said i booked by phone as useual u chk... then one man from there he said ruko aaj main bej deta hoon... and i wait full day at evening nobady was there..
                            next day sunday and third day holyday for ramnavmee. then i went there with my empty cylinder early morning at 8 a.m then i fight with them and i bring one cylinder during the day i pass with out gas i have a baby of six month.. realy i was too bad service... and not let me complaint there refusing me.. complaint over there...

                              Not sure whether it works or not but still I want to bring it in your notice that one of the IOC petrol pump at Hari Nagar, New Delhi is misconfigured to jump readings more than 300 points in a one go. I faced this issue today itself where IOC guy jumped pertol pump reading from Rs. 700 to Rs. 1000 and when I asked for the clarification they started arguing with me. Please try to avoid Hari Nagar pertrol pump if possible or get out of your car to check the readings properly before paying them money.

                              Hello Sir,

                              A month back I purchased a petrol worh Rs400 from National Service station CP Outer Circle. After running my bike for nearly 3 Km ahead of petrol pump, My bike started ding missing, I thought it was a problem with bike, After a through check up with a mechanic I founbd that my bike was perfectly Ok but the problem was due to adultered petrol. I went to pump staff and they did not entertained me neither they gave my density of petrol.

                              My bike's engine got damaged due to petrol mixed with thinner like substance.

                              Please take this as a formal complaint against petrol pump and do a through investigation.

                              I went to the IBP petrol bunk located at the following address on 30 June 2009, Tuesday at 1045am:

                              IBP Auto Services,
                              Plot NO 11, 12 13, Mahesh Nagar,
                              Kapra, R.R. District, Hyderabad

                              Aman who said his name was Venkatreddy came to fill the tank but engaged me in some small talk. But experienced as I am in these matters, I focussed my attention on the meter reading which he did not zero to begin with. After he filled about 7.5 L, I asked him to stop. He protested and claimed he had zeroed it. I then brought the matter to the Manager's ( a man who was not in uniform and said his name was Narendra reddy) notice. He did not bother too much and mildly protested that I should keep an eye on the meter. I said I had been doing that and that was precisely why I brought it to his notice. He did not do anythinh and continued to mind his business. Then I threatened to take the matter to the higher management and then he apologised and added the extra 3L which was the initial reading when I had noticed it. If i did not protest, I wiuld have been the worse for Rs150/-.

                              I hope you will take up the matter and duly punish the people involved at the petrol station.

                              I want to bring it in your notice that one of the IOC petrol pump at Shree GAYATRIKRUPA PETROLEUM, UNDERA, Vadodara is misconfigured . Today when I went to this petrol pump for refiling 100 /- petrol after that I obsreved inside petrol must be not more than 1 liter and when I asked for the clarification they started arguing with me. Please try to avoid this petrol pump.It happened with me two-three times.

                              Indian oil petrol pump employees are very casual and careless about their customer today i went to belapur automobiles C.B.D navimumbai (Maharashtra) to fill petrol in my bike . petrol pump the person who was filling the tank as he was involved talking with the other person he spilled the petrol outside when I asked to acknowledge the mistake he started blaming me i approached the owner of the pump but he doesn’t had any voice or control over the staff. what to say some time i feel service towards customer is very poor compare to HP.

                              This is to bring to ur notice that of the incident that happened with me few days back @ Indian oil petrol pump Opp E square, Pune 2 days back.

                              Like they do it everytime, one staff tried to divert my attention, so that the one with the nozzle can start filling the petrol without zeroing the meter. So that guy asked whether I want to pay by card/ cash, receipt chahiye etc? But since I knew this trick of theirs (as had been cheated earlier) I said Card, without removing my eyes from the meter (they were disappointed since the trick failed) ..I asked him to fill rs 50 ka petrol and after that when I gave the card to swipe, that guys said the card machine is not working and he told me that he had told me this before. I argued that it was never told to me and he asked only if I want to pay by cash or card.

                              But here comes a over 120 kgs, 6 feet tall guy from far away shouting that even he heard him saying that card is not not working. He spoke (rather shouted) in the local language to show his dominance. To my dismay, I had only 30 rs in my wallet. A little scared by his size n the way he spoke, I said "Ok ill get the cash from a near by ATM". I parked my bike there and was about to go t the ATM when this fat guy again shouted and asked for my bike's key. I said why do you need the keys when I've parked my bike here. He started arguing and showed me gestures that he would hit me if I do not give the keys. But thankfully another guy came in between and asked him not to take the keys. He shouted on that guy and abused me in the local language. The story ended when I went to the ATM, got the money and paid them.

                              But does the story ends here?? Y doesn't Indian oil petrol pump managers keep Gundas with guns because this guy was no less than that.. May be it was my mistake that I did not have money in mu pocket, and may be I did not hear that the card machine was not working.. BUT IS IT THE WAY IOC TREAT ITS CUSTOMERS??

                              I would never ever go to an IOC petrol pump again in my life unless someone acts on this one. (I guess tht is all I can do.)
                              This is to bring to your notice that the indian oil petrol pump near Bomanhalli, with the license no mys 1403, is cheating people against the amount of petrol they fill. As soon as they are about to zero check the cashier starts speaking and withdraws your attention from the meter reading and they do then fill the amount which was intially at some other point at Rs. 50 other than zero and as a result we see Rs 100 but then they have saved that extra into their pockets.

                              After this me and my friend went back again at the petrol station asking for their names and the manager's number and name but then they did not tell and after we noted down the liscense number that was on display they give back our fifty bucks.

                              This proves their guilt and therefore some actions should be taken seriously against it. This is not just my story but there are many who doesnot take notice of it or they are afraid to raise their voice against it.
                              Last week I had been at Hosur, none of the IOC pumps are accepted cards.. Simply they mentioned card out of order. I wanted to fill the tank of my I10 thru credit card ( Indian Oil card and Additional card Xtramile )
                              but none of the IOC petrol pump is accepting the card. What is use of keeping card ? When we are going to outstation, we are not keeping more cash on hand since all cards ( both credit & debit ) available. Can IOC take action on this.? ( at Hosur near Jujuvadi Check post IOC Pump & after 1 km right side one more ICO pump ).
                              Cheating by Petrol pumps in Delhi.

                              An incident happened with me on 12th March, 2010. I was on my way to Nizamuddin Railway Station and my car's Petrol level was very low and I went to Aman Fill Point, National Highway, Mayur Vihar Phase II an Indian Oil Petrol outlet, to fill the tank of my car. Many of my friends told me earlier also that Aman Fill Point cheats customers regularly by giving less petrol than they pay. Since I had no other option, I had to go to this petrol pump for the first time. It was around 0745 hrs. and no other vehicle was in the pump.

                              I gave Rs. 1000/- and asked them to fill the tank. I made sure that it is 0.00 on the machine. I fixed my eyes on the machine, as I was cautioned by many of my friends about this pump. When the meter showed around Rs.360/- one person came to clean up the car with a bucket and a mop in hand and told me to roll up the windows. As I started rolling up the windows and diverted my attention, the person filling the tank stopped the machine. When I looked up, Rs.1, 000/- was shown on the meter. I was surprised to see this, as 5 seconds ago, I have seen Rs.365/- on the meter and within a span of seconds, it shows Rs.1000/-.

                              I was not in a mood to argue or make a complaint, as I was getting late for reaching railway station. So I drove away in a suspicious mood. Normally, whenever I fill my tank Rs.1000/- the needle in the fuel meter reaches almost 85% full. (Wagon R has a fuel tank capacity of more than 30 litres- for Rs.1000/- we should get 21-odd litres of petrol). But this time the needle remained below the half way mark. I spoke this matter to my fellow passengers and my sister-in-Law, who was sitting in the back seat noticed that when I was busy rolling up windows of the car, the needle reached Rs.430/- and the attendant stopped filling and manually fed Rs.1000/- on the machine, which was shown after filling the tank. She was not aware much about these things and did not smell anything unusual about it. Hence she did not caution me at that time.

                              Two hours later, when I was passing through that way, I went to the petrol pump and met the supervisor and narrated him the entire story. He led me to the Manager of the pump and I again narrated the entire story to him too. I gave him my visiting card also. He told me to come to the petrol pump the next day and told his supervisor not to relieve the night duty attendants till I come to the petrol pump to identify the culprit. He was not at all apologetic and through his body language I was sure that this malpractice is being done with his knowledge only. He was not at all appeared to be sincere in his behavior. I told him I am not remembering

                              anybody's face to identify, he was laughing at me that I don't have any proof to support my allegation. I understand he was arranging an identification parade only for an eye-wash.

                              I went back to my office and I did not go for the identification parade. If he was sincere in stopping the malpractice, he would have definitely contacted me, as he was having my visiting card with him, where all my contact details are mentioned.

                              I understand that they are providing this extra service of cleaning the windows of customers is only to divert the attention and this is being done with the full knowledge of the management. When I spoke this matter to many of my friends, they also told me that many of them also experience same cheating from the very same petrol pump.

                              I entirely agree with your views about this particular pump. I had in the past couple of times filled-up petrol from this pump and got the least average (say around 12 kpl, against normal average of around 15 kpl). While filling petrol, always insist the attendant to leave the nozzle locked instead of holding it manually.

                              More importantly avoid filling petrol from those pumps which are situated on the highways (where normally movement of heavy vehicles (trucks) are high), since chances of adulteration and pilferages are common in these pumps.

                              I have faced similar cheating at least twice (which I know) at Indian oil petrol pump at Patpar Ganj Society Area in Name of "Kapur Auto Service", i believe they are cheating with each customer ranging Rs. 200-300. when i last visited them on 31.05.2010 at 20.50 hrs (Invoice no. 003055, batch num 000052 paid rs. 1600/- through ABN Amro credit card). they put the pump in tank and with in a movement they "300 rs ka ho gaya Machine band ho gai" when i saw reading the amount of 300 on meter but the liter reading was blank. after this they'll auto cut early so that you'll not realise that you are paying extra. after they said it is full i found meter is not showing full and i argued with them and compel them to put more petrol... you'll not believe approx 7 ltr was put after that. the same incidence happened at same petrol pump few month ago with me that time they stopped at rs.200/-.
                              i want some strong legal action should be taken against them as they are cheating each customer.

                              I am writing this mail with respect to a malpractice which I have observed at Indian Oil Petrol Pump outlet in Bangalore. This is specifically related to a Petrol Pump situated at Bhommanahalli (Indian Oil, On the left side from Electronic city to Madiwala) also known as Ganesh Fuel.

                              The salesman at the Petrol Pump follow this practice : Let say the man before you has filled up petrol worth 20 Rs . Then when you come to fill the petrol, he will ask you how much petrol you want . You would say 100 Rs. Then the guy who is collecting money will take the money from you and will try to divert your attention by asking you whether you want oil with petrol or whether you want speed or whether you have 100 Rs change etc.By that time the other guy will start filling the petrol without resetting the machine to zero.

                              I have caught them several times but most of the time Manager is not available in the bunk. I went many times to meet and speak to the manager but I couldn’t.
                              Beware of Indian Oil shri shiva petrol in Pune, opposite E Square. While other petrol pump owners steal 10-20% of the volume, this petrol pump steal 60-70% petrol. If you happen to be at this petrol pump just be careful. If you are lucky they don’t even put a drop in your petrol tank . One more thing they always keep you busy while they fill in the petrol. There will be 2 guys and try to involve you with some kind o[censored]seless talks.

                              This petrol pump wala has 2-3 gunds and they will come shouting at you if you object for anything.

                              I have my office at Bhayander (E), and usually fill diesel in my car at your petrol pump in reference above. The service of my car was due in the last week when it was send to the same motor agent who after checking the car found that the diesel is adulterated with kerosen and due to that the engine of my car has suffered damages. I have got the things rectified but the motor agent strictly warned against filling the car at the same place.

                              My name is Shruti D'cunha and i work at Andheri Mumber i own a Ford Figo. There is a huge petrol racket going at BON BON - SAKI NAKA INDIAN OIL PETROL PUMP. On Friday 4th March at around 9:00 pm I filled petrol worth RS 500 at BON BON petrol pump. To my horroe when I started the car not even a single drop of petrol was filled though they showed me the zero reading etc. They have some counter at the click of their hand by which they manipulate the petrol filled. My ford Figo shows a ' distance to empty' and gives an alarm at 80 KM ditance. Inspite of filling around 8 ;litres petrol the petrol lamp was still showing red. Plus when I tried speaking to them they were very rude including the supervisor at the petrol pump. My bill number is 30761 dated 4/3/11.Then they gave me the owner number MR sachdev [protected] who knowes if this is right. He told me too come and speak at the petrol pump to sort this out but I am sure he was not the owner sounded more like a watchman.
                              AVOID Indian Oil Petrol pump NEXT TO PVR PRIYA in Vasant Vihar, Delhi as they are dishonest and regularly dupe the senior citizens of the area..the meter at this pump is doctored..you will never get the amount of petrol you pay for

                              the attendants are rude and ill trained..

                              this petrol pump has a horrid reputation among the local residents and should be investigated by the company/authorities for doctored meter and poor quality of petrol

                              the staff also needs to be retrained or replaced

                              Avoid this pump like the plague..

                                Khan Gas agency situated at jhandewalan is booking the gas on telephone apart from this he is also meant for centralized complaint for any leakage or problems in the cylinders authorized by IOC. The agency telephone is not being picked up for two to three hours continuously. While getting the connection in Chennai distributer has asked for a letter from stating that if i could not produce ration card/ No card certificate in 60 days, he will disconnect the connection.
                                  I am not applying for new connection, i understand for getting new connection i need to produce ration card but why should i produce ration card for transfers cases.

                                  I am staying in Chennai. I am having 1 + 1 (2 cylinders) connection. I understand from my gas agency there is a waiting period of 21 days plus 7 to 10 days additional period to get my next gas delivered to my residence. Also before that gas is delivered to my house I cannot book for next gas. This looks very ridiculous. Then what is the use in having two cylinder connections.

                                  I have not faced such problems before.

                                  I will give with example.

                                  Suppose I am booking on 02.04.08. I have to wait for 21 days plus 10 days say till 02.05.08 to get the gas delivered to my residence. Please inform whether is there any rule like this in Gas delivery rules. Also I am informed I cannot make another booking till 02.05.08. Then I do not understand the reason for having two gas connections. Please clarify me regarding this.

                                  I have Indane gas connection in my Brother name for the last 15 years in Chennai (Transfer case as a compliment). From Feb-08 onwards agency is not providing the gas, and to provide the same asking ration card in my brother name, which is impossible to produce the same, since the same is provided us a compliment and a rememberance of by brother(relation) from other city.

                                  two times announced in paper to booking new connection without ration card, till today i went 4 times visited porur branch sivasakthi agencies they are not booking, they told daily u come 2 days after, what can i do for new connection pl help me
                                  The IOC web site does not contain any details regarding the time limit for booking. so we are at the mercy of the agency. will IOC give clear cut details as when the next cylinder is to be booked from the supply of the first cylinder(with example) and within what time the next cylinder will be supplied. As most of the agencies are by politicians and their benamis, the IOC is also not taking the complaints seriously.
                                  I want a new connection but am not able to get it as they ask ration card.And for ration card they are not issuing.

                                  a note can be read as below!!

                                  "Note: In Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, as per the requirement of the State Government, Ration Card is a must for issue of new connection for prospective domestic LPG customer."

                                  Why do the state govt force this?

                                  There are lacs of professionals getting transferred to chennai, some of them for a yr or two.
                                  How do they manage?, will all of them try to get a private gas connection or buy the cylinders from black market?
                                  If they are buying from black marrket then the govt is responsible.
                                  Price of cylinder is 339.60Rs in Chennai u get that in black for 650 to 700 rs.

                                  i have taken a new gas connection on january2004 at bashyam gas agency in kodambakkam, in april 2007 i have requested for a additional cylinder and also registered with bashyam and now we have shifted our house and our gas supply is transferred fron bashyam to guruvayurappan gas agency in andavar nagar in vadaplani and my consumer no.49651 but still additional cylinder is not received, i find it difficult with one cylinder as this agency is delaying the gas supply from the booking date 10 to 15 days as i have only one cylinder, if i enquire in the office they are not giving porper information and each time each one is giving different answers and every month with one cylinder and also with delay supply our family is suffering. kindly let me know what has to be done on this and also other formalities to be done with the agency for the additional cylinder as bashyam as told that if you show the slip already registered with us for additional cylinder to guruvayurappan that is enough.pl help us on this.

Very difficult to book the cylinders. Very much delay in distribution as they have to book minimum 50-60 cyliders collectively for easy transportation. keeping their phone in engaged condition for some days and nornorlizing for few days. So peoples are suffering for even booking. Why these type of crooks are taking as distribution of gas.

                                  I am staying in T Nagar Chennai. I am having 1 + 1 (2 cylinders) connection. I understand from my gas agency - there is a waiting period of 20 days plus thier receipt of load 7 to 10 days additional period to get my next gas delivered to my residence. Also before that gas is delivered to my house I cannot book for next gas. Presently i have my 2 cylinders empty.

                                  Let me know the above is known IOC. If it is so, IOC shall not new connection.

                                  Earlier we had probelms with Vaisnavi Agency, ( Now it is closed) . The customers of Vaishnavi are linked to Navanitha lakshmi agency. If Navanitha Lakshmi agency is over loaded, and not meeting the customer requirement, IOC has to find an alterante solution

I have received a SMS from 544112 on 13.7.11 with a message that the booking reference No is 213130.Subsequently i have received a SMS from 544112 on 25.7.11 that "against your refill booking213130, cash memo 4101 generated", cylinder shall be delivered shortly.Further i have received a SMS from 544112 on 27.07.11 that "cylinder has been delivered against your refill booking 213130 with cash memo 4101". Till date i have not received the refill cylinder from "Sri Selvi Indane Gas Agency at Porur, Chennai" upto 27.7.11. Today i.e 28.7.11 morning before 9.00 AM, I have dial up a phone to[protected] regarding delivery of refill cylinder that the recorded voice informed that the refill cylinder was delivered on 26.7.11. Again, i ring a cell phone [protected] toknow the status of delivery of refill cylinder, but the cell phone is swithced off. Further when i call the land line[protected] & [protected] from 27.7.11 the recorded voice message appear and says that the subscriber is busy and try after some other time from 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM. Moreover, the delivery boy has claimed Rs.15/- to Rs.20/- more than the bill amount generated.

                                  My consumer no 7911 which i booked my refill on date 03.11.2011 reference no :247394 on 10.11.2011 i went direct o agency to know the status of the refill the told it will come on next day.Instead of that they have send the refill on the same day on Wednesday and returned it stating no body is available in house and hence canceled the refill and the cancellation number is 247394, i went directly to the agency and put forth my grievance to concern staff and they say you book it again and come ad say to us that we will send within two days.already i had run out of gas in house and am running pillar to post to get my proper cylinder refill in due time and i told them that if are not going to action and immediately deliver i will go to grievance cell.The Concern officer tell you go were you can.And threaten to stop the refill to supply, hence i request your good selves to take quick action against the errant agency and help me in this regard.It will help other consumers who are daily walking to the agency with grievances the will not even pick up the land line stating unnecessary reasons.The agency name is Arjuna Gas Agency Kolathur Their phone Number Is :[protected].

                                  KPN travels - I Request to public not book in KPN travels if you have any other choice.
                                  On 18th Oct 2011 - I had travel from pondichery to bangalore in the KPN A/C Sleeper (Bus No. KA 50-9599)at charges of 590 and the bus which started at 10.45 from Nellithope KPN office. Morning around 3.AM Bus staffs called every body. Bus was not switched off and it was in neutral. They told Bus gear struck and we can go in this bus.a bus was stopped in front of our bus KPN A/C semi sleeper ( Bus number KA 50-9901) bus which was outside well painted but inside was worst condition and we were insisted to travel in that bus which will exactly accommodate all of that sleeper passengers and they didnt tell or infom us regarding the refund of extra amount we paid for sleeper.
                                  It was clearly a cheating to avoid their travel of Non A/C semi sleeper with few passengers to bangalore.
                                  I am attaching my ticket for the reference.
                                  I thinkKarnataka KSRTC is the best travelling service provider.

After many telephonic attempts when we got connected we were put on hold for a long time, then the receiving person refuse to take our request stating that i am not eligible for booking at this time or any other reason known to him and put off the phone. On advice of one of our well wisher I start the booking for the refill of cylinder through computerised (Internet Tomogass/Toll Free No. 1260 of Indane Gas. I suprised to note that the delivery of refill of cylinder were become more late in comparision with direct booking with dealer. I stongly condempt the attitude and request the higher authorities to take the complaint against the system and practice of the dealer. Further i request to acknowledge my complaint and rectify earliest possible. I Hope to get the delivery of refill of cylinder immediately.

                                      The company published in leading newspaper that they lauched website for booking of refil cylinder and no problem in delivery and supply, we have enough stock and we will deliver the cylinder within three days. The website is WWW.TOMOGAS.COM. I have registered for refil booking against my Indane gas refil of Jagdamba Sai Gas Services, Tilak nagar and consumer no. 2761 on 3rd Mar, 2008 but after 8 days of booking no response coming from Dealer. After that the site is not working properly and no method of lodging the complaint on website and the Dealer. i.e. Jagdamba Sai Gas Service does not pick the phone any time round the clock and we unable to contact this dealer of Indane Gas.
                                      Kindly look this matter and see the services.

                                        Dear sir,
                                        I got my new Indane gas connection last year. When I asked for the 2nd cylinder they told Govt has stopped giving second cylinder connection because of " free gas connection " in the state of TN. Im living in a place where hotels are atleat 15km distance. What we will do if the cylinder will get over? Till now we are begging our neighbours for gas cylinder. This is a very bad situation. I kindly request you to do the needful.
